• Simich (1/5): - Too many long-term Africans staying there. I checked in and sat out front to check my emails. An African and a Thai or Laos Lady was sitting on the another bench arguing. The African stood up enraged and kicked the woman in the head. I should've left then ($4 hostel rooms are everywhere in Vientiane). Came back to find them rifling through my clothes and taking a few items. I left never to return. You have been warned.

• Michael (8/5): Good value for the price, but I was charged 660K Kip when the price was a bit over $28. So $2 more. - The management was very nice. There was a heated shower on the ground floor (I think it worked, though I never used it). The free breakfast was good, and did include coffee or tea. The electric socket next to my bed did not work well. None of the two working bathrooms on the first floor had locks that would lock. One hand had to be used to keep the door shut. At least one of the three showers on the first floor locked. The center one did not.

We arrived early as our night bus arrived a few hours early than expected! The man working let us sleep in a dorm as it was very early morning! Even though we weren’t supposed to check in until 12 and we arrived at 5am! Very accommodating Some facilities, toilets were not as clean as we would hope

• Salvatore (1/5): Da eliminare - Niente. Terrible Arrivati alle 20 e dopo quasi un ora di è presentato il receptionista per dirci che era tutto occupato. Persona sgradevole. Ci ha accompagnati al memory hotel e ci hanno dato una camera con una finestra che si apre sulla cucina del ristorante indiano a fianco. Impossibile dormire dato il rumore della suddetta cucina. Ho chiesto un altra camera. Ci hanno spostato al 1 piano. Hotel fatiscente. Senza niente che funzioni bene. Da squalificare ed eliminare dalle proposte di booking. Sia il memory che il Lucky backpacker
• Malory (1/5): Extremely dirty - Staff really nice. Extremely dirty and unsafe. Mold everywhere (pillows, trash bin, room), no hot water, and the bathroom light switch was taped, which is dangerous. Nothing matched the rating. Completely unacceptable. Would not recommend.
• Marc (1/5): NO IR BAJO NINGUN CONCEPTO! - Limpieza inexistente. Todo sucio y descuidado. Tienen personas viviendo allí regularmente los cuales son poco respectuosos y publican reseñas falsas. Ruidos y musica a qualquier hora ya sean las 6 de la mañana como las 2 de la noche. Si quieres pagar con tarjeta te quiere cobrar un suplemento. El jefe no esta nunca en el hostel. Tiene 2 "trabajadores" los cuales parece que vayan ebrios todo el dia.

Bett war sauber, Rest solala Billiardtisch Das Türschloss muss ausgetauscht werden! - die Tür ließ sich kaum aufsperren - wir hatten Bedenken, dass der Schlüssel jederzeit abbricht. Keine Vorhänge - vor dem Zimmer brennt durchgehend das Licht. Durchgelegene Betten, man spürt jede Feder durch. Zimmer sehr klein Frühstück ist spärlich.

En effet, il y a beaucoup de personnes qui resident dans cet hotel au mois et qui attribuent des 10/10 L'hotel est très mal entretenu (pas d'eau chaude car le ballon électrique est HS depuis longtemps d'après certaines personnes qui resident ici au mois). La salle de bain est très très sale (voir photos) Le petit déjeuner est minimaliste (2 oeufs, 2 toats et un café soluble) En bref, nous n'y retournerons pas !

The hostel is a run down place. It was dirty, broken and noisy The room was very small and the only window was connected to the hallway.

• Matteo (5/5): - Aire acondicionado y colchón. El desayuno es precario, mucho olor feo a transpiración en la sala común. Se sentía desde las escaleras, horrible! Tendría que haber carteles en las habitaciones para informar a los huéspedes sobre ruido y videollamadas a altas horas de la noche para no molestar a los que quieren descansar. Baños sucios y muy pequeños.

Je tiens à remercier et à agréer avec toutes mes sincères salutations distinguées à tous ceux qui souhaiteraient d'habiter à cette établissement.

• Zendobougna (10/5): Good - Bonjour. Ravi de partager avec des gens cette location d'hôtel qui est placé juste en face de night market. Cependant que l'accueil est tellement ravissante pour les clients accompagnée avec des petits déjeuners gratuit, bonne assenissemet de la chambre inclus le wifi gratuit.

• Chan (6/5): Not recommended - It was a quiet location. The people staying there was also quiet. Relatively clean. I didn't like the way I was talked to buy the guy in charge there when I asked about the towel. When I talked to the owner, he said there's a fee of 10K Kips. I would have paid but not given the choice and a scolding attitude. I didn't like the ants. There were ants everywhere. The second and last night I was there, I was bitten so many times, probably ants and mosquitos. I didn't sleep much. Zero kitchen use. Nasty treatment. Others had the same experience experience.

• Franziska (5/5): Passable - The room was small but good. Clean, AC and hot water. Good location too They asked us to pay more then mentioned in the booking. The Light in the bathroom didn't work properly. After we came back from dinner the Guy at the reception said he accidentally gave us the wrong key (the one from the room next door) and we should change it. We used it already and it worked - turned out that the same key workes for both doors. We only stayed one night so we just stayed anyways. But we can not recommend it.

• Inglis (3/5): VERY Unclean - The staff were really friendly and the location was amazing. The place was dirty, both the room and the bathroom. The towels we were given stank of damp. On the first night, we came in from dinner and got into bed. Not only were there run off the mill stains on the bed sheets, but there was a raised white stain on the sheets. I have my suspicions it was bodily fluids. Absolutely disgusting. The staff changed the bedding (but didn't have clean pillow cases to give us) when I asked, which was good, but I can't recommend this accommodation due to the uncleanliness. You also had to pay for water refills at the hostel, which I've never had to do before. Go to any other hostel on the bay.

• Clouston (3/5): Needs a deep clean and tlc - Scratching for good points here,.. we left the review for a few awhile, to see how other places compare in Laos. This was the worst place over our 3mths on the road so far. Good location, near to restaurants and markets This place needs a major deep clean! It's dirty and needs some love. The aircon and fans are noisy, struggling with the build up of grime and dust on and through them. To add our Aircon unit was dripping onto a piece of corrugate outside the window. Couldn't sleep at all. - wifi didn't work 2.5 outta 3 days -blood on duvet sheets -sink in room 90% blocked, and hair build up in shower drain -sinks in hallway leaking causing ponding water to walk by -receptionist works to a different curency than the internet. (Also had to chase up for change, two days later) ended up ripping us off about 100k/kip -tv provided with no way to turn it on -booked a room with a double bed, got a room with two singles .
