• Neil (9/5): Great base for exploring Sancha, Shibuya and west/central Tokyo. - Very clean, bedding perfect (futons), everything we needed was in the kitchen. Having two toilets was so useful for our two kids. We used the washing machine, which worked perfectly. Despite being close to the town centre and the station, it wasn't noisy at all. Lots of shops/supermarkets/cafes etc nearby. Getting in using the door code was very simple. Location was great for us, but note that despite the property name this is not Shibuya - this is Sangenjaya. We knew this before we came - we used to live in Sangenjaya and our kids went to school here - we wanted to revisit it. But for those guests who really do want Shibuya, it's an easy 5-minute train ride away and I would still recommend staying here. We loved this apartment and would definitely stay here again. The only issue we had was with pre-uploading our passport scans - the instructions are not very clear and this took several attempts. I was using the wrong format initially - it should be jpeg/jpg.
• Molly (9/5): Great quiet, comfy location - Comfortable space, easy check in, great beds, two bathrooms, very quiet The room setup wasn’t obvious from the photos but the two bed room is separated by a sliding door from the 1 bed area (which is the kitchen common space). It was a lot closer in proximity than we expected so not as much privacy. The people in the 2 bed room have to walk past the other bed to go to the bathroom and kitchen. Easy to wake people wake up. I’d suggest renaming the posting (COTO Shibuya 2) since it’s quite far from Shibuya and our local friends said was a bit misleading location-wise. Not a big deal but would have been helpful with transportation planning.

• Bonsaiboy (7/5): A little out of the way, tucked away in a Japanese neighbourhood - The property is fairly central with many conveniently situated grocery and convenience stores. The railway station is not too far, well within walking distance. It feels secure and is in a neighbourhood, with no pedestrian shopping streets or businesses nearby. The apartment is spacious enough and reasonably well equipped and clean. There is a washing machine and a nice sized bathroom with shower and bath. It was on the ground floor so you could hear any pedestrians walking by all the time. The photos look nothing like the place we stayed in, not sure what's up with that to be honest, perhaps the unit featured is the upstairs unit as there are only 2 units at this location that I am aware of. I did not like that you could essentially not go anywhere with the closest train station and had to go via other stations to change and then on to your destination, so it seemed a little out of the way and perhaps less ideal for tourists. The wooden floors could be a problem..... if you are on the ground floor anyone walking around on the upstairs floor will be heard. There is no drier in the apartment so if you do washing it will have to be hung out to dry.

• bgevans (8/5): Great little base camp for Tokyo sightseeing. - Quite close (5 min walk) to Sangenjaya Station. While small, it was very functional and had almost everything you would want for a few days sightseeing in Tokyo. Towels too small (standard size for Japan though), pillow too skinny.

Nonostante questo non mi hanno fatto entrare in anticipo. Stare in giro con le valigie dopo lungo viaggio è stato devastante, avrei preferito un po' di elasticità e comprensione, visto che hanno link sul sito di lufthansa, cioe puntano sui clienti internazionali. Le studio est très propre, avec deux toilettes et des rangements. Nous avons eu un peu de mal à trouver l’adresse. Il manque de toutes petites choses comme une chaise, des lampes de chevet ou des coussins pour être vraiment confortablement installé.

• Raushaniya (10/5): Highly recommend, and would love to stay here again! - Really good location, clean space, good aircon & good internet speed. Enjoyed sleeping on tatami floors - a bit of authentic Japanese experience here. A very spacious apartment, especially comparing with a typical space in Tokyo/Osaka (it has two toilets, separate shower, separate dining table). It was great for our week-long stay. One thing to note - there is no elevator, so you'll have to carry your suitcases up the stairs to the second floor. Highly recommend, and would love to stay here again!

Quiet space but very close to lively city bars and restaurants; pretty close to the train. Felt great to have a space of your own in the city; great value for the money, especially if traveling with at least two people. Downstairs neighbor complained that our footsteps were too loud. But we were simply walking around the apartment. Our internet cut out, and had to be reset by the owner in the downstairs apartment, which took a day. Laundry and bedding were a bit stale, needs to be fresher.

The room is as shown, cozy and clean. We really appreciated the bath room and the small but functional kitchen. Highly recommended.

Compact but effective bath, kitchen, washing machine, two toilets, plenty of hot water, air conditioning, and clean. Because of using Futon(not beds) , we can create more space, while not sleeping, and it is good arrangements. The way to the place from the station is a little confusing but get used to quickly. Can be bigger, but no complain. It is very central location.

• Cynthia (9/5): Reasonable walking distance at a comfortable Japanese style apartment, good for a family of 3. - For us traveling with a 10 months old crawler baby, the ground floor unit works out great for us. Limited furniture makes it a great fit for us , the Japanese style futon bed on the floor is comfortable. Washing machine in the unit definitely is a plus!! The entry way and sitting area is very tight and start to see few aging of the facility/ peeling from the flooring/ trimming from used.

• Jane (9/5): Cute place in chill but lively neighborhood - Separating the toilets from the shower and sink was really helpful for the four of us. We also loved the cutesy sleeping on floor vibes. Also really appreciated the ample luggage space in the closets--this outdid a lot of hotels we went to. The shower experience was also fun, I liked the basin--remember to bring your own conditioner! Tbh I wished the beds didn't have the foam padding...I prefer the firmness of being close to floor more. The shower towels sufficed but could have been bigger.

I stayed downstairs and the upstairs person was quite loud...but . ..no fault of the facilities. Just thin floors and walls which were kindly mentioned in the agreement...to be mindful of your neighbors... Loved this apt !!! Thx for letting me stay there :)
• Lorrelie (10/5): Stay was great, and customer service is very responsive to your needs. - Property is clean and it is an accessible to a lot of places - train station, restaurants, grocery stores, convenience stores, etc. Would’ve loved to have a dryer, but I understand that Japan doesn’t really use dryers :) There are nearby laundromats.
• Jeroen (9/5): Great stay in the center of Tokyo - A classic Japane appartment with traditional beds and bathroom. Even the toilets are cockpits of a airplane (so many buttons). The location is good. Close to the Metro station and 15 min. away from Shibuya. The seat at the table need some pillows, but the owner already agreed on my suggestion 👍

Conveniently located near station and shops/supermarkets/nightlife. Some tatami areas for a traditional feel. Two full toilets! Staff went above and beyond to get lost property back to me after we left, amazing job! Small couch would be nice. Lack of dryer makes drying clothes a bit difficult after washing (Bathroom didn't have dry function either). Area can be a little loud at night sometimes, but can't do much about that.

Enjoyed staying in the neighborhood a lot. - Great location: the property was close to the station; there are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Nice rooms: tatami-room was spacious and bathrooms were nice and clean. Footsteps from the second floor could be loud. I’m glad the traffic on the second floor wasn’t too busy.

• Tak (8/5): A nice apartment in a convenient and vibrant neighbourhood - We stayed at the second floor of the building. It was spacious and well equipped for the two us. It was also clean enough if not looking too closely. The location was excellent with all kinds of shops for daily needs in the vicinity. It was very convenient to travel around with the bus or the metro. Noise was the foremost issue. All movements of the people staying in the lower-floor unit could be heard and also the sound of the closing of the sliding door. So if they went to bed late or got up very early, you could be waken up easily （ although we understand that was due to the structure of the Japanese building）. Some other small issues include:the tap in the hallway was loose, the tap in the bathroom was leaking, the shower head was leaking terribly. This could be fixed easily if you have the right tools and knowledge but I don’t know why the management chose not to fix them.

• Minami (3/5): Poor - location If something is wrong or something goes wrong, the company doesn't want to fix anything. this accommodation is just for sleep. don't expect hospitality •No body soap ,conditioner. •Toilet small malfunction, they don't care. •I wake up every morning to the sound of footsteps on the second floor at 7:00 •Air conditioner doesn't work very well •Even though it says it's a hotel for foreigners, they don't keep your luggage after you check out.
• Fruitbasket (8/5): clean comfortable spacious room in the middle of Tokyo - it’s very conveniently located with walking distance from Sangenjaya (3 stops from Shibuya). it’s quite spacious for a place in the middle of Tokyo, and has a new and spacious bathroom, proper sized fridge (important for me for storing ice cream) it might not be for you if you don’t like tatami/sleeping on the floor.

Two wc, washing machine, everything is new and have good quality. - The accomodation didn't offer any cleanings in the week booked. This was only explained after paying the booking, out of time to cancel the reservation, and being already hosted at the flat. - The wifi didn't work in 3 days and the landlord didn't attend any complains to solve such an important problem. - No personal service. Every communications take place through booking, that they weren't very fluid. - I received the code to enter in the flat late. - there are no pieces of furniture to sit down close to the tv. You have to lie down on the matress on the tatami. - There is not a wardrobe to keep the clothes and suitcase. Just a coat rack that is not intalled and falls down when is loaded.

• Shigeharu (10/5): 快適な滞在でした - 駅から近くて部屋も4人家族で泊まっても快適な広さでした。キッチンも使い易く滞在中は自炊出来来ました。2週間の滞在でしたがゴミの回収や備品の補充も迅速に対応して頂きました。また日本へ滞在する時には是非また泊まろうと思います。 チェックインが無人の為、家を見つけるけてドアを開けるのに少々戸惑いました。到着が夜だったので玄関の表札が見えづらく電気が付いていたら有り難かったです。

• TSURUTA (10/5): - 2歳と3歳のこどもと3人で利用しました。こども用品も充実していて、心地よく滞在ができました。 土間のようなダイニングキッチンはすこし不安がありましたが、こどもも問題なく食事ができました。 上階の足音が聞こえましたが、最低限でしたので気になりませんでした。 こどもたちの声が迷惑でなかったか心配ですが、また機会があれば利用したいです！

Air conditioning system work really well, which is extremely useful on the cold days. There is a convenient store (Lawson) just round the corner. For Persona 5 fans, you will love the subway station!
• Bbiz (10/5): - The accommodation was clean. The beds were comfortable. Great to have a washing machine and two toilets. Communication was timely and instructions clear.
