Guest Reviews
- Eileen (8/5): Good value; nice and clean. Great staff - Location was great. Staff was super kind and accommodating. Was it the intercontinental? No. But it was clean and comfortable and near where i needed to be. Can be noisy as theees a recycling center in the same spot.
- Mon (10/5): - The hotel was located in a quiet area and the rooms were clean and quiet. The bathroom was quite small and the bed springs sounded rusty and need to be replaced or maintained.
- Herbert (9/5): - Well updated to today's standards. Spotless.
Only thing missing was an elevator, but we were on the ground floor. Might not ever make it back to the area, but will definitely book again if I do. No breakfast offered, but many other options (bagels, donuts, fast food, etc.) available close by.
- Melchiona (9/5): - The location was perfect! There is no elevator for the second floor.
- Sharon (8/5): Good quality and value - Room was nice, employees were very personable, complimentary coffee and tea, excellent parking, nice toiletries, lovely balcony Bathroom exhaust fan was way too loud, no washcloths in bathroom some guests very loud in hall early in the morning
- Martin (8/5): -
- guðmundsdottir (10/5): - nice clean .nice staff. very good rooms.
- Brenda (10/5): - Alles
- Vincent (10/5): Very clean - Room was very clean and comfortable
- Marian (8/5): - Its clean I have a hard time using TV. Bed making a noise when you move
- Ada (9/5): - Ubicacion y el facil accesso a la habitation desde el auto El toilet funcionaba mal
- Joseph (10/5): -
- Buckley (9/5): - The staff was exceptionally friendly and informative. The rooms were very clean as was the pantry and general space at the facility The surrounding properties are commercial and a bit of an eyesore, which includes an abandon building.
- ORourke (8/5): - IT was very clean, newly renovated, staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Great to support a family business. Would definently stay here again. The location is behind and next to a strip mall, so not your usual location. It has no elevator to the 2nd floor.
- Jessica (8/5): -
- Donald (8/5): - Very clean Very small hard for two adults to move around in the room.

- Maureen (7/5): - Friendly welcome from desk person. Room was clean. Towels were soft. Bed was squeaky because it was on springs, I guess, instead of a boxspring. Also, the heating/ a/c kept going on and off with a great bit of noise that kept waking me up
- Suzanne (8/5): We would stay again - would make sure everything was working. - We found the check-in staff to be very friendly and helpful and the rooms very comfortable. Unfortunately, it looked as if there were some repairs being done in the bath/shower area and the shower was not functional. There was some residue from the work left in the sink. We mentioned this to the checkout staff.

- Alex (8/5): Exactly what I needed it to be, and a great value. - I really liked the value and the location of this property, and the room was simple and exactly what I needed. Comfy, clean, and the bathroom supplies they provided were nice. Also appreciated that their towels were larger than the average tiny ones at hotels. Especially given the location and my frequency of visiting this area in the winter for wildlife photography, I will likely be back! The mattress did slide a little bit on the bed frame, but overall not horribly. Same with the glass tops to the dresser and TV stand, but these weren't major issues at all.
- Zupan (8/5): -
- Hendrickson (7/5): - Friendly and clean No elevator and my uncle who had two strokes was put on second floor
- Stephen (7/5): -
- James (10/5): -
- Joseph (8/5): Very good - Good stay. No issues Good value for what I ecpected
- Mike (5/5): - The property is mediocre at best. Moderately clean. Located in adjacent to a strip mall. The esthetics are lack luster
- Michael (9/5): Perfect for a short getaway - Tucked away off of rt 9, it’s a clean and cute little place. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. I have no complaints
- Adam (10/5): -
- edsnicky (9/5): Great place to stay - It was a wonderful place…. The rooms were super clean and comfortable Much attention obviously was placed on the rooms looking and feeling amazing EXCEPT 1 thing …. The showerhead was from like 1960. It was NOT GOOD
- Tanya (10/5): -
- Lawrence (9/5): -
- Nicholas (8/5): - Availability and balcony for smoking attached to the room. Doors close at 12 am
- Fusik III (10/5): -
- sabrina (8/5): Would stay there again if need be - Very clean and tidy. Having the front door locked until 11am was a little strange but not a big deal since there’s private outside doors.
- Serina (10/5): -
- Kelly (7/5): - Cute, clean and convenient It is next to a strip mall that had very loud work going on very early in morning
- Christie (10/5): - It's beautiful and very clean
- Catherine (10/5): -
- Janet (8/5): Nice stay on the way to visit people - Location Keys old fashioned. 1 key for back door and separate 1 for front. Automatic locks.
- Sherie (8/5): Very nice. Quiet Christmas night. Beautiful tree in the lobby. Christmas cookies - Quaint appearance. Awesome front desk staff. Free coffee, cookies and muffins. Cleanliness. Location. Need king beds! The metal bases of the beds are very squeaky. The shower head did not have enough pressure. Free breakfast would be nice.
- Melissa (10/5): -
- Vicki (10/5): -
- david (8/5): -
- Susan (8/5): - The price was right for the accommodation. The room was small and tight. Beds were squeaky and not true queen size. The doors have locking issues. We had to access from the outside or have someone on the inside to let us in from the hall. Bathroom lacked space and the shower plumbing fixtures need to be updated.
- Sharon (9/5): - I come here because it's clean clean clean! From 730am on, other guests and housekeeping very noisy shouting in the hallway. When not home getting children off to school, I like to sleep in the morning. Not a major deal but is annoying
- Janet (10/5): - No breakfast provided
- Stuart (5/5): Grade D - Location Bed was hard
Roof construction right outside our door.
Construction can dangerously close to our entrance
Consideration should have not had us there. Possibly another room.
Saturday morning front desk person was rude
- Lori (8/5): -
- Stacy (10/5): Excellent! - Pleasant staff and adorable hotel! Extra toilet paper in the room.
- Mark (9/5): Great price for a great place - Very clean and modernized
- Peter (10/5): -
- Howe (10/5): Quick visit to Forked River.y son recommended Blue Creek Inn and we were vert pleased with the cleanliness and comfort - Close to family, clean and comfortable. Would stay here again and again. N/A
- Vitol (10/5): Nice property. Comfortable beds. - The property was quiet and convenient. The room was spacious and very comfortable. I appreciated the fact that we were walking distance from a very nice brewery. Nothing worth mentioning.
- Kelly (8/5): - Small but cozy and very clean. I did not like that the doors only had 1 security lock and yet their 2 doors(one to the parking lot). As a solo female traveler I didn't sleep well so to overthinking that fact I guess. I would also recommend better mattress and pillows. It's those little things that keep people coming.
- Deborah (10/5): - Location was convenient for our visit, room was very nice and staff was excellent
- Michelle (10/5): -
- Maureen (7/5): - Clean, comfortable and near where we wanted to be overnight Light and fan in bathroom on same switch. Too loud of fan couldn't separate from light. Couldn't enter bathroom without turning on fan. Annoying at night. Waking up my husband if I turned on light at night
- Dallely (10/5): -
- Jake (9/5): -
- Melissa (10/5): Comfortable, clean, friendly - I needed to stay near LBI between work events, I'm so glad I chose the Blue Creek Inn. I rolled in late but the gentleman at the desk (I forget his name, it was something cute like Kai or Jay) stayed up for me, was friendly, efficient, and got me into my room right away. He also filled my water bottle from the filter in the office, I really appreciated that! Room was exceptionally clean, bed comfortable, it was quiet and I felt safe. I loved that there was room access both inside the hotel, from the hallway, but also from the outside, so I could pull my fully-loaded car right up to my room to more easily move my bags and things.
- Karen (6/5): - The Inn was conveniently located right off Rt. 9 and close to an event we attended at the Waterfront. The property looked and smelled clean and the lobby was fairly updated. We appreciated the Keurig machine in the alcove. Parking was easy and plentiful. Our queen room was quite small, and the bathroom was difficult to move around in. The faucet for both the shower and sink were old, as was the physical key and chain lock on the door.
- Lillian (10/5): - Very clean and pretty.
- Kathleen (8/5): One enjoyable evening. - It wasn’t too far from where we went. It was just one night. We traveled from Virginia and we needed an early check-in. When I called the night before the gentleman told me they could not accommodate us, but when we arrived, and my husband went in the two lovely ladies behind the desk were so accommodating. We were able to get ready for the surprise party for my sister-in-law and they made that happen. Breakfast could have been included.
- Brianna (10/5): - Everything was neatly cleaned every time we got back to our room
- Alexis (10/5): - The room and all facilities were very well maintained - spotless even. We had to arrive well after the lobby was to be closed, but the staff, Tina in particular, went above and beyond to make certain we could get checked in and were comfortable. Both she and the manager, Pam, were kind, warm and welcoming. This place is truly a little gem in one of the loveliest little towns New Jersey has to offer. Given the opportunity, we'd stay there again and again!
- Stephen (10/5): - Courteous and professional
- Wanda (8/5): - Na
- jose (10/5): - Nice quiet area , the hotel was clean and we enjoyed our 3 nights there. Staff was gelpful. I look forward to returning.
- Anabel (10/5): -
- William (7/5): - Clean Noises at night from staff talking, had front room near check in
- Theresa (9/5): - Beautiful pool. Perfect atmosphere & great places to eat in the area
- Santiago (10/5): -
- ANTHONY M (6/5): - limited service property - no one there after 12 midnight until 8 am; coffee machine in room did not work
- Hilda (9/5): - Vriendelijke personeel en een mooi zwembad. De kamer was ook erg schoon.
- PATRICIA (10/5): -
- Rainiero (10/5): - For a last minute spontaneous Labor day trip. This place is a little gem. Great rooms with the essentials and we were right off by the pool. Definitely a great little find with a decent price for the stay.
- Paul (10/5): -
- Ira (9/5): -
- Gladys (10/5): - 😊
- Fugger (9/5): - Decorated nicely and clean. Tub was dingy, needs bleach, and wore cross to shower. Huge turn off. For the price, water or continental breakfast should be included. It's behind a strip .mall. Too pricey for location.
- Princz (7/5): -
- Brian (8/5): -
- Jennifer (10/5): Good for a night! - The inn is set back off the road, almost missed it! It is has a renovated lobby and check in area. Check in was fast and easy. We were on first floor so pulled around to the side right by our room. Overall, was clean and comfortable for a 1 night stay. The carpets and ceilings are older and do hold a little of that motel smell, a little smokey.
It was quiet all night, but in the AM lots of trucks were dropping off metal at the yard next to us so if you’re a light sleeper.
- Jeannette (10/5): Excellent - Propreté de l hôtel et de la chambre, piscine, accueil, employés et gérante très gentilles Salle de bain petite
- Lauren (10/5): It was good value, nice accomodation and central to all the little bay towns. We would return. - It was beautifully decorated inside and out. Small enough to go a couple of feet to Lobby in your PJs and grab a cup of coffee from the Kuerig. The front desk person was very friendly and knew the history of the Blue creek. It was in a shopping area parking lot, which was not a very good view at all
- Ryan (2/5): - Not a pleasant stay I found a roach in my bathroom
- Raymond (10/5): I booked at this hotel a old school feel with a updated moderation rooms were beautiful and the face that they have a mi - Clean and everyone was friendly and helpful I loved the location
- Ruth (8/5): - Nice stay. Convenient to restaurants and shopping. Had to climb stairs to 2nd floor however, no elevator. Could be a problem for some people.
- Mike (10/5): - Great stay
