• Efi (8/5): - Σε εξαιρετική τοποθεσία, πολύ καθαρό, πλήρως ανακαινισμένο δωμάτιο, με κρυφούς φωτισμούς, άνετο στρωμα. Ιδανικό για δύο άτομα. Η επικοινωνία με τον ιδιοκτήτη ήταν άμεση και άψογη. Είναι δίπλα στην παλαια Χώρα αλλά και το ενετικό λιμανι. Βρίσκεται πάνω στον κεντρικό δρόμο , οπότε συχνά υπάρχει αρκετός θόρυβος απο αυτοκινητα, ακόμη και με κλειστά παράθυρα αλλά υπερτερεί το γεγονός οτι υπάρχει άμεση πρόσβαση με τα πόδια για βόλτα. Εντονη αντίθεση με τα κουφώματα (εξώπορτα και παράθυρα), τα οποία είναι πολύ παλιά και ξυλινα – υπήρχε μπαλκονόπορτα που δεν έκλεινε σωστά. Η πόρτα της τουαλέτας είναι τζαμαρία με αμμοβολή, χωρίς καμία μόνωση, κάτι που δημιουργεί θέμα ιδιωτικότητας. Η σκάλα για το δωμάτιο είναι ιδιαίτερα στενή.

Επίσης το κουμπί της λεκάνης ήταν σπασμένο και το χειριστήριο των φωτων του μπανιου ήταν χαλασμένο . Η τηλεόραση δεν συνδεόταν με κανάλια και η πόρτα του μπάνιου δεν έκλεινε και ημιδιαφανιζε και δεν παρείχε ιδιωτικότητα. Η πόρτα εισόδου στο δωμάτιο ήταν παλιά και καθόλου ασφαλής. Η είσοδος είχε στενή σκάλα που με το ζόρι χωράει ένα άτομο και δεν παρέχεται είσοδος με ανσασερ.

• Tab (5/5): - I liked the location, and the room was a decent size. We didn't like the staircase it is narrow and steep. There were no functioning lights outside or in the stairwell. You needed a flashlight in order to get to your room. We contacted the management, and they said they would fix it, 6 days later, they were still burnt out.

• florian (1/5): not professional ! Room dirty from previous guests - la chambre n'était pas nettoyé en arrivant!! On me refuse un early check-in car la chambre était occupée la nuit d'avant, j'attends donc patiemment 14h pour prendre le logement, j'arrive à 14h et là... Chambre pas nettoyé des précédents locataires rien de changé etc , l'agence me propose de prendre le logement juste en dessous, mais j'avais pris celui du dessus pour la vue mer...et aucune envie de changer de logement et de refaire ma valise et galérer 1h de plus à trouver un autre logement. Ils m'ont dit d'aller dans la chambre du dessous et m'ont remboursé la différence mais aucun geste commercial... fuyez !

• Domino (7/5): L’emplacement intéressant compense les inconvénients. - Un quartier vivant et intéressant à la limite de la vieille ville , une maison ancienne restaurée avec son vieux balcon sur la rue. La tuyauterie de la salle de bain était défectueuse, une multitude de messages échangés pour rien , aucune présence humaine en 4 jours.Escaliers très pénibles si l’on n’est plus très jeune.Difficultés pour se garer, sans conseils de la part du propriétaire. Qu’est devenue l’hospitalité grecque?
• Wilma (8/5): Lovely apartment but not for us ! - Dry comfortable unit right in down town old town. Great bathroom, plenty of space. Most comfortable bed we have slept in in six weeks. Very good. The access via stairs was very difficult for older couple. Very steep, winding staircase. Impossible for luggage. Fridge iced up severely not able to use ice box. What a pity as this small thing made it difficult. Would not recommend for older people as stairs were terrible The top of stairs was very small and had to be careful whilst unlocking the door not to step back. Lacking hand rails which would have helped.

Water pressure for the shower is good and strong. Bed was nice and firm....had a great night's sleep! Self check-in was a breeze. Stelios was always quick to answer any questions and made sure all my needs were met from the time I arrived to the time I left. Would definitely return and highly recommend to stay here! • Lynn (9/5): Great Location for a Short Stay. - The apartment is in a great location, close to the harbour and restaurants. We felt comfortable and the apartment was very clean, nice toiletries provided and water in the fridge on arrival , which was most welcome.It is walkable from the bus station , providing you do not have too much luggage. Good communication and easy access to the property. Great place for a short stay in a central location. All good.
• Thomas (7/5): Good - The room was spacious, and location to old town was very convenient. Cleaning was every 3 days & hair dryer /ironing facilities/ safety box was available . The bed needs to be replaced . Whilst the mattress was comfortable the leatherette headboard /frame is raw from peeling and looks unsightly . The staircase sensor light does not work on 2nd floor which is dangerous as it’s 37 steps up on narrow marble steps. Whilst the apartment is convenient , it gets very noisy in the evening with regular deliveries on motorbikes from local takeaways & teenagers attending nearby clubs .

We asked for support and they seemed surprised (but I read now from other reviews that this is the situation since Sept ‘24 at least). They said they would have sent someone to solve it, and this never happened. We asked for towels to at least dry up the floor, they said they would have brought them, and this never happened as well. We felt a bit fooled and definitely not respected. You can’t rent a room with the shower broken.

I don't understand how a vacation apartment has no cooking options. You can't even have breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Sleep, period. There's no closet to store clothes. The hydromassage shower needs instructions; it's not easy to regulate for a pleasant shower. It has no screen, and all the water spills out, flooding the bathroom. Stepping on it, you get the whole apartment wet. It has all the drawbacks of a hotel without any of the amenities.

• Ivan (10/5): A relaxing trip in the center of Chania with wonderful hosts. - The best thing about the stay was the friendliness of the staff. They helped with any question that I had, from parking to questions about the accommodation. The location is amazing, in the vibrant center of Chania with plenty of great restaurant and bars around, and with the port just a few minutes away. Check-in procedure was easy, and the room was very comfortable. There were some minor issues with the bathroom, but nothing that should affect the booking of the place.

The headboard is very badly worn & peeling so it can't be cleaned properly. The duvet on the bed looked clean but had no cover on it so not sure if it is laundered after evey guest. • Tamar (10/5): A phenomenal little kept secret in the heart of 'Up and Coming' Chania - I was sooooo impressed when I booked this very last minute. I was immediately able to contact the support staff who gave us all the information we needed to gain access. And when we saw what we had got... We were dumb founded. What a high class fantastic accommodation right in the up and coming part of Chania. Just gorgeous. Very impressed. The bed was super comfy and the amenities were just incredibly good from the towels to the coffee machine. We loved everything. It's noisy if you keep your windows open.... But that's because YOU'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF A GORGEOUS BUSTLING CITY! Just shut the shutters and turn on the aircon

• Iakovos (7/5): Excellent location, but not worth the price - My stay at Diamond Luxury Suites has been pleasant although it had both positive and negative aspects. The location was unbeatable—right in the heart of the old town and just a few steps away from the Enetic Limani (port), making it perfect for exploring the area. Bars, restaurants, breakfast and coffee places are just a few steps away. The room itself was clean, and the self check-in process was seamless, thanks to clear instructions provided by the owner beforehand. I appreciated the added convenience of a coffee machine and fridge in the room. In summary, while the central location and cleanliness were definite pluses. Unfortunately, the room fell short of expectations in some areas. The bathroom was missing a shower screen, even though it was shown in the pictures on Booking.com. This led to flooding after every shower, and when we asked for a mop or floor dryer, we were told to use the bath mat, which wasn't ideal. Another issue was housekeeping—our room was supposed to be cleaned every 3 nights, but the cleaning service came only on our last day. This left us without fresh towels or toiletries for 4 out of our 5-night stay. Additionally, while the location was great, it’s on a busy street, and the noise from passing cars and motorcycles could be disruptive at times.

A small shop over the road was great for essential supplies.The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The stairs up to the top floor were very steep even to carry a small suitcase. The upstairs stair light was not working this is an emergency light. We had problems with a perished seal in the bath. Water was draining constantly when trying to use the bath . This was reported but unfortunately not repaired before we left. I have noted reading other reviews that both issues have been reported before and should be resolved.

Good size unit, well appointed We could check in a little earlier and check out a little later. The agency was fast in responding to questions and request. - We had changed our original booking to a higher category room (with a sea view) well before our arrival but this info was apparently never communicated to the management company so we were stuck with a room that didn't have the view (as the property is very small and they was nothing else available). This was very frustrating because we would have booked a different property had we known. - The agency agreed to a late checkout but the cleaners arrived before we checked out, making it awkward to use the bathroom and finish packing. We had to ask them to wait outside. - The neighbourhood is very busy . This being an older building it means little sound insulation and a fair amount of outside noise in the evening. - The bed wasn't the most comfortable, it sloped from the middle to the sides. - The (free) WiFi requests entering a password every time you try use the internet. It can get wearing after a while

What we were disappointed about though, and made us rate this flat 7, is the fact that there was a strong smell of mold in the flat: when coming back from the beach we could smell it immediately when opening the front door, even when opening the windows the smell would stay and was coming from the walls. Also mold was visible in the bathroom and bedroom, on the ceiling. Finally, the flat, during the weekend, can get very noisy at night, seems not very well isolated.

• Betty (1/5): Site was deceiving - it was close to downtown Noise was not declared on the booking site. If you are looking for a quiet stay, this is not the place. Bars around allow for patrons to party in the streets into the wee hours of the night. We were not given a warning about the stairs. For people of a certain age and with any mobility issues this is a BIG issue. Would not be able to take a larger suitcase up those stairs, it was very hard to take a carry-on up and down. The Wi-Fi would constantly throw you out. The light in stairwell was out and despite a previous reviewer mentioning this, the management still hasn’t taken care of it. Shower handle was broken and despite a previous reviewer mentioning this in April, it still wasn’t fixed by our June stay. Tub is a death trap as it is incredibly slippery. It should have slip resistance installed. Additionally, as a previous reviewer mentioned, it does not seal correctly and drains just as fast as it fills up. We specifically chose this place as it had two sleeping options however it wasn’t until we got there that they told us we would have to pay an addition 15 euros per night for the pleasure of US to make up the sleeper. They therefore refused to provide extra blankets for our comfort. Lied about a 3 night minimum as we needed to change our reservation 6 weeks in advance. Despite others booking for as little as one night, Diamond Luxury refused to accommodate us. When booking, the website mentioned an included breakfast, however, it wasn’t until we arrived that they informed us the breakfast would be an additional 10 euros a person. They said they had streaming, they did not. Maybe if you carry a streaming stick, I was not aware I had to bring my own as I would have They said they had airport shuttle, they didn’t we had to arrange our own transportation from airport. There was dirt and chunks of gross dirt hanging above the tub, was afraid it was going fall on me.

• Cassandra (8/5): Cute little flat in an excellent location! - Great location! Super comfy bed, wonderful linens and cute balcony with a view of the town & sea. Illy espresso maker was a nice touch! Some issues with tub sealing completely. Mold in bathroom - old building so I’m sure it’s common. Priority issue: steep stairs with no lights to see coming up in the evening (I used my phone flashlight); also, I thought the description was a bit misleading. This is a property rental not an ‘inn’ or boutique hotel.
