Die Zimmer im Nebengebäude einfach, aber okay, das Bad ebenso. Sehr hilfreiches und nettes Personal, unkompliziert mit Check out Zeiten und Gepäck Aufbewahrung. Wir hatten für 2+1 reserviert und ein großes Bett bekommen. Ging dann auch.

Bed did not have electric outlets on both sides 😮. A few tripping hazards with floor elevatoon changes and non-uniform stair heights.

• Ludovic (8/5): Très sympa mais .... - - l accueil chaleureux et souriant - la piscine - très belle chambre et grande salle de bain - lit très confortable - petit dej pas Extraordinaire mais très agréable - Emplacement pas évident pour toutes locations pour la boucle (la navette était hors d usage probablement du a l essence, nous avons marché ça se fait en 30 min rien de bien grave) - Gros point négatif sur le départ, nous avions demandé a deux reprises la possibilité de louer un taxi (non tuktuk) pour aller en ville le matin de notre bus. Le prix semblait inconnu ... (Je ne pense pas que nous étions les premier a demander cette possibilité). Nous avons donc redemandé le matin de notre départ. Au " taxi ou tuktuk " nous avons répondu " le meilleur " en rigolant Nous avons payé 5 fois le prix du taxi pour un tuktuk (probablement une connaissance avec un retour sur service) pas fan du tout d'être prit pour un porte feuille après 4 jours dans l'hotel.
• HALEEMATH (7/5): - The staff at the reception was so nice and helped me arranged my tours and was very kind. I liked the location since I like to walk around to checkout the area I am staying. This had everything within walking distance. Room could be better. The property is a bit old including the furnitures. AC didn’t work. I informed through booking.com but was told I should communicate with the staff at the reception as they don’t check the messages everyday which I had previously done but I guess the receptionist didn’t understand because I reminded him after I came back to my room and he even offered to come help fix it for me. The good thing for me was I caught a cold while there and was feeling a bit poorly so I didn’t need him to fix it that night.

Alles schon etwas abgewohnt, sehr dunkler Raum, das Fenster geht zu einer Wand raus und lässt kein Licht rein, man muss die Tür offen lassen für Tageslicht. Bei einem Zimmer im Erdgeschoss laufen dann permanent die anderen Gäste vorbei. Weit weg von der Innenstadt

• Juliette (9/5): - Le personnel était très sympathique et s'est montré très arrangeant : nous nous étions trompés sur nos dates de réservation, on avait pris 2 nuits d'affilées en ligne alors que nous voulions une nuit, puis pas de nuit pour dormir sur la boucle des Bolovens, et une nuit supplémentaire ensuite, et cela n'a posé aucun problème, ils ont même gardé nos affaires qu'on a pu laisser dans la chambre sans paiement la nuit où nous étions sur la boucle des Bolovens. La piscine est très agréable.

• Jessica (10/5): - this place is such a wonderful retreat after long travels. after being on the move for 2 months le jardin was an absolute haven, and we barely left the poolside for 2 days. the hotel’s garden is full of trees and birds and it really feels removed from the city, which is just what we needed the distance from pakse main town isn’t an issue at all if you’re planning on just having a relaxing stay here- there’s a few different food options nearby (we enjoyed takeaway from ‘nem khrao’ on 2 nights of our stay, very affordable and great because we were able to eat it back at the lovely hotel) the breakfast was absolutely wonderful, very filling and a nice mixture of fresh and cooked things. a very spacious room too, huge and very comfy bed and nice balcony seating area outside the room too the staff were so friendly and kind too. thanks to all for making this such a wonderful place to stay would be nice to have water available for refilling our water bottles. we were given a couple extra 600ml bottles when we asked about refills, but ended up just buying 6l bottles from the nearby shop and keeping them in the room fridge. not a complaint, just a suggestion

• Claire (6/5): Chambres vétustes sans lumière naturelle mais bel hôtel - Les espaces extérieurs de l’hôtel sont très beaux et la piscine est très agréable. Le personnel est sympathique et propose un service de navette le soir uniquement pour rejoindre le centre. La chambre que nous avions n’avait aucune fenêtre, c’était très désagréable. Les équipements sont très vieillots et la salle de bain rudimentaire. L’hôtel est situé à l’écart du centre ville dans un quartier dans lequel nous ne nous sommes pas senti en sécurité.

• PATRICK (7/5): Des réserves - Cet établissement se situe dans un quartier calme. Lorsque vous arrivez, vous remarquez le batiment principal implanté en arrière d'un petit jardin arboré, "Le jardin" . La petite piscine et les chambres sont situées sur la droite. Pour le reste mon avis est assez réservé. En cette période difficile que nous vivons tous , je pense qu'il n'est pas de mon devoir de décrier les prestations du"jardin". Cependant les belles photos éditées sur les sites de réservations commencent à dater. L’hôtel a bien besoin d'être rafraichi. Plutôt une guesthouse qu'un hôtel.
• Devaraj (7/5): Stay in a charming old villa. - The place is an old building with some charm. The staff has been very welcoming and responsive. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to downtown for dinner. The AC in my room was not working properly, and it was not fixed despite my complaints (the owner proposed the last day to stay in another room). The furniture in the room is vintage, but the cupboard is not very practical to use. The hotel is located away from downtown, away from restaurants.

• Corinna (10/5): - Leider hat uns der Ort gar nicht gefallen, dafür war dies einer der besten Unterkünfte wo wir je waren. Hiervon können Touren gebucht werden, wir waren hier jedoch nur eine Nacht. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar! Das Frühstück ist traumhaft, unglaublich lecker :) Die ganze Anlage ist sehr idyllisch und der Poolbereich sauber und entspannend. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, sauberes Badezimmer und das Bett ist super bequem! Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen :) Nichts :)
• Jean-Dominique (9/5): Second séjour dans cet hôtel de charme pas trop loin du centre-ville - Situé au milieu d’une zone arborée et avec une piscine, cet hôtel est à recommander. Le patron et les dames du service sont bien souriants et prêts à rendre service La navette gratuite à 19h pour aller dîner en ville et le retour 2 heures après, est vraiment pratique. Parfois la nuit on est réveillé par de la musique aux alentours, des coqs ou des aboiements par des chiens de tout le coin. Mais c’est la nature et en dehors de la responsabilité du patron

• Stefano (9/5): Un oasi coloniale in una città con poco appeal - La struttura ricorda una costruzione coloniale del Guatemala o del Perù, molto ben inserita nella verdeggiante vegetazione e con una piccola ma molto ben tenuta piscina. Ma il vero valore aggiunto di questa struttura è mr.Vayu, impiegato alla reception, un lavoratore instancabile, sempre sorridente e disponibile, una garanzia! Forse la posizione lontana dal centro, ma ci pensa mr. Vayu a compensare il gap mediante il trasporto gratuito dei clienti alle 19.00 e il rientro degli stessi alle 21.00
• JC (8/5): Petit hôtel de charme, mais vieillissant - L'accueil et la gentillesse de la propriétaire Noi - elle fait tout ce qu'elle peut pour rendre service à ses visiteurs, on se sent comme des amis La piscine est très agréable pour commencer ou terminer la journée Le petit-déjeuner est complet et servi à l'assiette (pas de buffet) Chambres vieillissantes, il faudrait revoir la décoration et surtout l'éclairage qui est beaucoup trop blanc . Pas de fenêtre. Lorsque la porte est fermée, il n'y a pas de lumière naturelle . Emplacement éloigné du centre malgré un service de navette.
• Henrik (8/5): Trygt og godt til prisen. Ejeren er fantastisk - Stedet ligger noget udenfor byen, men ejer kører hver aften ind og retur til centrum. Ejer er utrolig sød og hjælpsom Kæmpe seng. Bo gerne på 1.sal, det giver lidt udsigt over pool og have. Desværre er der lidt slidt nogle steder og der kunne godt kæles lidt mere for hyggen. Haven trænger til en kærlig hånd.

The location is the issue here - a long walk from the centre. However, there are suoermarkets and a few eating options nearby, plus the free evening shuttle into town for dinner. And an excellent gym (V Fitness) up the road, albeit expensive at 150,000 kip for a day pass.

• Jarid (9/5): Great stay, very clean and a little oasis to relax and enjoy - Great place to stay in Pakse, the pool, cleanliness and breakfast are the best. It’s not too close to the town but honestly there’s not much in the town anyway. To me this hotel is the little perfect oasis (and mind you I am traveling solo without a car or a bike, I’m happy I stayed here). The owner is extremely helpful and caring. Definitely a taxi ride to town but definitely worth staying here.

Is wel buiten de levendigheid, maar Pakse is niet heel spannend (op een paar dingen na) Wij zijn er drie nachten geweest. Hebben met een scooter de omgeving verkend. De eigenaresse (en haar medewerkers) zijn heel erg vriendelijk en ze regelen ook vervolgtrips of een scooter. Zwembad is fijn en er zijn handdoeken daarvoor beschikbaar Bed sliep goed, douche was oké qua straal en had shampoo, showergel en conditioner beschikbaar. Ontbijt ook prima in orde! Niet echt iets. Prijs kwaliteit klopt👍

• Susan (9/5): Comfortable hotel with a nice pool and excellent breakfast and great service from the owner. - The hotel is set in a lovely garden in a suburb of Paxse and the rooms are simple but comfortable and the double beds are huge and comfy. The pool is a great spot to unwind and relax. Ms Noi looks after her guests really well and her breakfasts are excellent - better than some of the more expensive hotels we have stayed in. She provides a shuttle service in the evening to and from the centre of Paxse which was much appreciated. We thought the price was fair and represented good value. Very much recommend Le Jardin. Bequeme Betten, gutes Frühstück mit super Kaffee. Gut zu Fuß zu erreichen auch einige laotische Restaurants in der Nähe. Ganz selbstverständlich konnten wir unsere großen Reisetaschen ein paar Tage im Hotel für einen mehrtägigen Rollerausflug deponieren. Leider war es jede Nacht sehr laut, da etliche Hundehorden jaulend und bellend durch die Gengend zogen. Ein Umstand, den der Hotel-Besitzer/-Betreiber aber leider nicht beeinflußen kann.
• Claire (10/5): A lovely family run hotel where all your needs are taken care of - This place is an example of how you run a successful hotel! The owner is very friendly and helpful, and a real presence, who pays attention to the details. We've stayed in a lot of places where after check in, you never see the hosts again! The decor in the rooms are lovely and the rooms are a good size, our bed was huge! with water replenished daily, as well as bins emptied and fresh towels provided. The pool, whilst small, has mattresses for the sun loungers, and pool towels available and is a nice area to relax. The breakfast on the terrace was lovely with lots of options. The owner provides a free shuttle bus service into the centre of Pakse in the evening, dropping people off at restaurants for dinner and returning to collect everyone a couple of hours later. Nothing. We really enjoyed our stay here.
