Guest Reviews
- Joshua (7/5): A lot of potential, hope they look after it. - It’s very central, clean, the bed sheets are nice. Hot shower works and the staff are friendly and provide great service. The wifi is fast and the rooms are big. It needs a lot of maintenance. Tiles are broken, curtain rail broken, bed headboards wobbly, door never opened on the first attempt. I’m sure it was all lovely when it first opened, but it’s gradually falling into disrepair.
- Lelani (8/5): Not convenient for a senior citizen to stay… - The rooms are spacious .. No elevator , faucet and door are broken..
- Henry (4/5): - Not what I expected. Ratty looking, unlike the pics, of course. No elevator. Steep steps with uneven height steps. Large ceramic tiles in room broken and posed a trip or cut hazard. Nocounter, shelving in bathroom to put soap, towels, or clothing.
- Opamen (9/5): Superb -
- Romileen (5/5): Passable -
- Clifford (9/5): Superb -
- Mak (4/5): Never coming back - Accessibility since it's near the plaza The pillows and sheets are appalling. The room is unpleasant and distasteful as there are cockroaches and it's dusty in some parts. The bathroom fixtures are loose. The entire establishment is dilapidated.
- Greg (4/5): Disappointing -
- Lorjhun (4/5): - Needs improvement overall!
- Peter0629 (8/5): It was nice. - The location is good. near the shore which has many places to eat in the evening. It is near the police station and the public plaza and the church. The price offered here is higher than the price they have when you book directly with them. The first room they gave me smelled like they had mold. Or smelled like mothballs. And the cellphone reception is zero. Thankfully, they transferred me to another room which smelled much nicer and have excellent cellphone reception. The TV remote doesn't work though.
- Lucero (1/5): Bad - I liked the area as it was close to the plaza. The view of the sea was amazing. 1. It had a barred up window leading to a walkway in-between rooms.
2. There were large cracks inside the room.
3. Their sheets, pillow cases, and "blanket" have stains.
4. Their "blanket" wasn't a blanket at all but a large bedsheet.
5. There was a short blackout, which they said was the cause of the water in the water tank to stop refilling.
6. They only checked the water tank because I called since the water ran out while I was showering.
7. After repeated follow-ups by calling the front desk, they cut my line to prevent me from calling.
8. Since I was no longer able to call, I went downstairs to the front desk only to find out they hadn't checked the water tank.
9. It took them 30-40mins to resolve the water problem.
10. They wouldn't give me a refund for the 2nd night as I had already intended to leave after the 1st night.
- Darren (8/5): Very good -
- Sittie (5/5): Would’ve been prefect if it wasn’t for the bad check in experience where they didn’t see this booking in their system - Big rooms They didn’t see my booking online and refused to give my room. It took a few hours until they FINALLY saw this booking in their system
- Shur (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kimberly (10/5): excellent - the room nothing
- James (6/5): Pleasant - Cheap and cheerfully no dramas Didn't read the details correctly, no restaurant 😕 so no breakfast, my partner was not too happy 🤦
- Evelyn (6/5): Pleasant - *Location
*Ocean view
*Transportation
*Food
*Rooms are big
*Air-cons works pretty well Very noisy at early morning. Some guest talked on their phones in the middle of the hallway at early morning. The receptionist during daytime she wasn't happy of her job I guess. One time she called around 6 am and asked our payment which was very annoying to us coz we were still sleeping at that moment.
- Evelyn (6/5): Pleasant - Mostly the whole area. Some workers didn't have a happy face.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Unsatisfied - The place was dirty. Not the typical hotel you would expect.
- Chard247 (8/5): Very good - The location is perfect for a gate away.
- Jefry (1/5): Bad -
- Geraldine (7/5): Good -
- Jaramie (6/5): - Meh
- Hilda (5/5): Passable -
- Phillip (9/5): Superb -
- Dione Ray (6/5): Small Room - the room is cramped and small also no fire detector in the room, damaged sprinklers
- Samuel (2/5): Disgusting!!!! - This place is disgusting. Woke up to roaches everyday. Bathroom/shower dirty with a lot of mold. We were sandals while showering it was super disgusting and bathroom had a foul sewage smell. At 11PM the faucet started running for no reason and wouldn’t shut off. They sent housekeeping up to fix it but all they did is come to the room and turn off the main water valve so we had no water. She didn’t even tell us about turning off the main valve. She didn’t say a word one she came into the room. Even when I tried talking to her she wouldn’t talk back. She left and that’s when we knew we had no water. Call again and they said no engineer on duty so we had to wait till the next day.
- Verified traveler (2/5):
- Verified traveler (6/5): Aloran trip - No elevator............all rooms at least 40 steps up..... And not a hanger to hang clothes on !
- Marilu (4/5): Old and Dusty - The moment they put the A/C on I started coughing and my voice went hoarse as I am allergic to old dust. I can smell the suede curtains lile old dusty moth insect. One of the lamp is broken and fell off its holder like it was only sticked through the hole but its been like that and wasn't repaired. The sheeta smell of old dust and with stain. You can't destinguish if it's a stain or used but stretched. The sink was clogged and not draining well. I still have to let them know all about this when we're alresdy checked in. The hot/cold water disoenser outside the lounge is mocky and tiny-tiny ants are crawling in it. Staff never cared to clean them nor ask you if you need anything in the room. I have to ask for soaps, toilet rolls. My booking is two double beds in a room good for four people. They only provided two towels and two blanket sheets. When I asked fr extra towel and sheets and shampoo/hand soap, they charged me extra. The tv's rc was not working. When I told tge staff about it, they just said" ah, ut hasn't been working". I thought of buying new batteries in case the battery run out coz I will stay there for 5 days, and it did worked when I changed the batteries. It felt like I checked in, in an abandoned haunted house. I know it's a low budget hotel.or hostel, but I'd been to Singapore and Manila the same low budget hostel or hotel but it was not like this. The most important was the hostels I'd been too were very clean and well provided with essential.stuff.
- Reviewer (6/5): - Bathroom is not that good smell.
No elevator, not suitable for elderly customers.
Twice experienced sudden shut down of electricity.
- paul (6/5): Price is very reasonable and the location is very - The stay was pleasant. The receptionists were accommodating. The location encouraged me to walk around the city because it is within the heart of the city.
- joe (6/5): Elevators, please. - There is no elevator in this hotel even if all the rooms are in the third floor. No roomboy will assist you in bringing your things up to the 3rd floor. Old folks or those with physical impairment will have great difficulty reaching the 3rd floor. There is no security guard to secure vehicles of guests with parking in an open area beside the street. There is no coffeeshop nor a restaurant. The rooms smell of cockroaches or of similar odor.
- Peter (2/5): The hotel was dirty and had no Clifton free wifi - Stayed one night and then went to family and I was bit by bedbugs, no WiFi and the bedding was dirty and the room was very badly maintained.
