I would define coke back. The rooms could do with some TLC and the mattresses I tried (they were kind enough to let me try two rooms) were short (approx 1.9m) and in a poor condition (sagging in the middle).

Pleasant swimming pool and nice garden. location is ok, near the malls and not far from the beaches. rooms and bathrooms: need some fresh painting and small repairs ( lose tap). restaurant is very pole pole in preparing food and the standard of food could be better. But again: the staff is very friendly. Wifi quality was rather disappointing

- Ianjai (10/5): - Don't hesitate to book this hotel apartment. We stayed for 2 days in the 2 bedroom apartment. It was exceptionally clean and spacious with all necessary amenities. My kids loved the games on the smart TV. There is AC and fans throughout the apartment to keep you cool. The pool area is clean with enough lounge chairs. We also liked that there was a baby pool. Breakfast was amazing! Fresh fruit ans fruit juice and a variety of real hot food, not just cereals and pastries. We also dined for dinner one evening. Prices were good. The food took a while to arrive but I believe that is because it is cooked as you order, not pre cooked or frozen food. Getting transportation was easy. You can walk 3 mins and get tuk tuk easily or reception will help you get transportation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to stay again.

- Evelyn (8/5): Pleasant stay at Jacyjoka - The room was spacious, with comfortable sofer seat and bed. Toilet and bathroom were clean They can still do better with breakfast. The options were limiting, and it requires too much waiting. You must be willing to wait between 30-40 mins to be served

- Oliab (7/5): Modest option, but good hosts - The staff was welcoming and helpful. There is a security guard. There's pool (although it might be closed for maintenance), a lot of space in the apartment, a balcony and a very comfy bed. Wifi is also good, there's a kitchen and the shopping mall is close. The first day I came the pool was closed for the whole day. I had to change my plans. The breakfasts are very modest, the food quality is not the highest. I suggest buying food at the nearby supermarket or go to cafes. The building is quite old, but it is maintained. The shower utilities were also quite modest. Everything felt a bit cheep except for the bed. Not sure if there's better value for money though, so overall I was content.

The breakfast is great and the staff are very friendly. They are flexible when it comes to the choices at breakfast. Well done. The internet connection isn't great. The fans in the rooms aren't very effective but there is a Air-Conditioning. The living room didn't have AC though.

- Rianne (8/5): Very good - The staff is super friendly and really want to help you with anything! The breakfast is a lot and great choices. We liked the spacious room and the kingsize bed. Unfortunately, we didn't like that the pool and even the shower is salty. Bit far from beach.

- Wanjiru (10/5): Exceptional - I loved the room I was placed in, it was comfortable. It had all the essentials needed in a house, that is kitchen stuff like a microwave and a fridge. There was a smart TV and you could log in to YouTube and catch up with a movie on Netflix. Breakfast had variety too, sometimes you would skip on lunch coz of the heavy breakfast đ. Due to the salty water the shower had some clogged pores, I wish this can be looked at.

Had to ask for arrangements to be made to use next door's pool which should have been arranged before I asked for use of alternative facilities. - Rose (2/5): Terrible, should be shut down - We arrived at the establishment around 930pm east check in but place in terrible condition, moldy, no AC in any room, fans are from 1900 only thing new is fridge. When we came back I was short of breath coz the moldy condition was so bad my larynx literally swole and I couldnât speak at all. They didnât have other rooms to switch us to so we had to leave thirty mins after arriving to a better sanitary place. Iâm sorry but they need to be shut down and fix their insufficiencies. I understand one manâs meat is another manâs poison but they better charge like 10 dollars a night that way you know you are getting what you pay for. Worst stay in a hotel I have ever stayed in. I wish I took pictures because I canât describe this nonsense
- Jack (7/5): Recommendable for short stays - We liked the food at the restaurant though it took an eternity to be ready. The included breakfast was really ok. The staff at the reception was very responsive! The advantage of the huge rooms is obviously that unlike a classic hotel room, one has plenty of place for putting and opening the luggage. Getting clothes washed was appreciated. The air condition worked well. A huge mosquito net (great!) The place is a bit aging.... Windows are not isolated and the noise of people at the swimming pool was disturbing. The noise created by the music near the pool was even worse. The windows in the bath and toilet cubicles could not be tightly closed. The apartments are huge not to say oversized and totally devoid of homeliness. In return, there's no place to put your towel and toiletries when taking a shower. The experience of a "shower" is lacking as the water pressure is so weak. This is a place that works for a couple of days. For someone interested to go to the beach, it is way too far from the beach.

- Lauri (10/5): Nice, well located place with good services. - We had a big room, the pool was quite large, it is not too far from beach or the Nyali Center. Location was quiet and the staff very friendly. We got all the help we ever asked including booking tickets to the SGR train to Nairobi.
- Eliahu (10/5): Exceptional - The place is very clean, has a nice pool. The room was great with air condition, refrigerator and kitchen. The breakfasts were ok. The restourant staff did its best to adapt it for a diabetic like me. There is a hot water problem there. Those who like stable hot water stream, will be disappointed. In general, the water is mildly warm and then suddenly bursts with very hot stream for a short time.

Couch was so hard. Fan didn't work well in kitchen/ lounge so it remained hot all day. Music went on all day. Pool closed so early at 6pm.
- Graham (10/5): Excellent stay and we wish to return - We really enjoyed our stay. The room, restaurant and pool were all very good and the maintenance and cleaning was first class. Breakfast was also very good and all the staff are friendly and efficient. We will certainly return again. The hotel is in easy reach of all Mombasa (Fort Jesus, old town, beach and shopping mall by tuk-tuk). Everything was excellent, no complaints at all !!
- Andre Halvor (10/5): Wonderfull and relaxing holliday in a good area - I really enjoy this place because it was clean,no insects on the room and I love that the bedroom was seperate from the livingroom, the only thing I can complain about is the noice from the pool after 2, so if you want to take a nap,its not easy because of the loud music. And remember to shower early,its not warm water late in the evening...

- Ednah (9/5): The beat place to be for a family vacation. Easily accessible, strategically located and pocket frie - They offered me very early check in at 5 a.m and a late check out at 12 noon. This made it very easy for me as I was travelling with children.
- Stephen (10/5): - Lovely well run property pool area regularly cleaned and swept bar and restaurant open early to late with excellent service food including breakfast cooked freshly so expect a short wait . It does get busy at weekends when families come to enjoy the facilities but if you want to escape the nearby reef hotel has a daily rate of about ÂŁ6 itâs on the beach with stunning views and the famous moonshine bar. There are tuk tuks at the top of the road very short walk to take you to supermarket and restaurants recommend you have the restaurant address handy as the drivers donât always know where you want to go by name. Recommend Robertos restaurant Links road all in all we had a good 5 day stay the staff are lovely Rooms cleaned and fresh towels and linen provided breakfast included great juice would go back

Not new an luxurious but functional, big rooms, good kitchen, phantadtic fridge and an absolutely wonderful bed. Big pool, nice garden, not at beach but close and also very close to best shops and good restaurants. Will be back!
