We didnt struggle to check in, it was easy, really enjoyed it. We had a jam packed agenda every day, but we would look forward to returning to the apartment at the end of each day it was really great.

• Sangeetha (10/5): Our stay at 703 Ocean Schelles - Excellent location. Stunning views. Well equipped apartment with all the amenities that you would need. Modern and clean. During our stay we felt very safe and we will definitely go back. Looking forward to our next stay.

Loved it and will be back Getting picky as all bedrooms aircon but could possibly have done with one in the lounge - but we were in mid jan peak heat

• Richard (7/5): overall a very enjoyable saty - The location was perfect with loverly sea views, easy to come and go into the complex, walking distance to all the reasturants and bars, this is tghe second time we have satyed in this apartment. We stayed here back in 2022 and it was perfect no complaints, now things could do with some maintenance and updates. 2 out of the 3 aircons did not work or had a problem on our arrival, there is at times a bad odour coming from two of the bathrooms, the guest bathroom and the main en.suit, the extractor fan in the main en.suit did not work, and there is not one in the guest bathroom. The handle on the bath in the main en.suit bathroom was broken. We also found that the sun loungers around the pool where in poor condition, and the lack of them only four of them for the entire building, which let it down around the pool area, if you wanted to sit around the pool, it was not possible. overall things to sort out and just needs some TLC

The host was very accommodating and very easy to get in touch with. We were there for business and stayed on for the weekend which was a bonus. Will most definitely book again.

• Dimakatso (8/5): Unforgettable Family Weekend by the Sea - We recently spent a beautiful weekend at this apartment, and I must say, it was a truly memorable experience. The location is absolutely ideal – just a short walk from the beach – and the views were breathtaking. The apartment’s design and aesthetic are stunning, and it’s situated in a very secure building, which gave us great peace of mind, especially as we were travelling with family. We had such a wonderful time together, and we genuinely felt blessed to have stayed in such a serene, well-positioned space. That said, there were a few minor concerns that, if addressed, could really enhance the guest experience. We noticed that when washing dishes, water tended to spill onto the floor, and unfortunately, the dishwasher wasn’t working during our stay. The filtered water system also wasn’t functional, which was a slight inconvenience. Additionally, there were some exposed fixtures inside the bathtubs that appeared unfinished or uncovered, which made us a little uneasy in terms of hygiene. A small detail, but something that could easily be improved. As a parent of a toddler, I also found the balcony design slightly nerve-wracking. While the view was incredible, the glass railing felt a bit low for comfort. I understand this may be a structural feature of the building, but it’s something to be mindful of if you’re travelling with young children. Lastly, housekeeping-wise, towels were only refreshed after three days and bedding changed after five – perhaps more frequent linen changes would be appreciated for guests staying multiple nights. All things considered, we had a truly fantastic stay, and these points are shared with the intention of being helpful. We would definitely recommend this apartment, and we’d love to return again in the future.

• Lise (7/5): Clean and secure apartment with great views in excellent location - Superb Views Exceptional Location Very Clean Secure “complex” with polite security and efficient Security systems * Faulty Aircon in one of the rooms * A little welcome basket of SA goodies would have been appreciated, with things like: biltong, rusks, fruit, a bottle of wine, etc (This is an example and could be determined by gauging client dietary or other restrictions) * a decent coffee machine or cafetière * Lack of laundry products - because most people do not travel around with washing liquid and softener in their luggage!

• Deshandren (9/5): Wonderful family destination. This apartment would be my first pick. - Location Beautiful view of the ocean Quiet and peaceful Some of the amenities need some tending to. For example, the dishwasher one rack is not functional, the headboards are peeling. These are small things.

Given that it was Easter weekend and housekeeping does not work on public holidays and sundays, there were gaps in cleaning services available and taking out the dirt in the bin. I would suggest they give an option to get housekeeping on those days

All instructions from host were clear. Appreciated the daily cleaning service.

There was no water in Umhlanga during our stay but they made a plan and we were not affected that much .

• Cheryl (7/5): Great stay. The host was very responsive. - Convenient location near shops and restaurants, easy beach access, secure location. No back up power. We experienced load shedding everyday, where even lights do not work. in as much as it was scheduled load shedding, we had to use phone torches for lighting. An alternative power supply for lights would be helpful.
• Mishka (3/5): The light switches kept tripping - lamp bulbs not working . - The lights kept tripping at the property- when reported the gentlemen kept denying the problem and saying the cleaner would have reported it - when he got there the cleaner did say it was an issue for quite a while . The property was somewhat dirty . The lampshades had no working bulbs in the rooms . There was no adapter plugs to plug in the appliances . We have stayed at other apartments before and were pleased with those and expected the same at this property - but it was somewhat Dilapidated and not worth the price . Collection of the keys was somewhere entirely not at the property - and collection was difficult as those handing over the keys waste time and don’t know anything about handing it over .
