• Simone (8/5): Wir würden es wieder buchen - Modernes geräumiges Apartment, mit großen Fenstern ein Balkon zum Meer hinaus und einer Richtung Ätna. Schöne Poolanlage. Großer, gut erreichbarer Parkplatz vor dem Hotel. Ist in Sizilien auch nicht immer selbstverständlich. Durch die exponierte Lage am Hang war Taormina oder Restaurants in der Nähe nicht eben mal zu Fuß erreichbar.

• Nicola (10/5): Soggiorno indimenticabile - Mon Repos Avenir è un vero gioiello nascosto. Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso ed il rapporto qualità-prezzo è stato eccezionale. E' difficile scegliere la giusta location dove soggiornare a Taormina sia perché in genere si trovano appartamenti in affitto (ed anche le stanze di hotel) con dimensioni molto limitate, sia perché se si soggiorna in centro si è lontani dal mare e viceversa. Mon Repos Avenir invece si trova su un'area spaziosa con con un parco molto curato (complimenti al giardiniere), una bella piscina con una fantastica vista sull'Isola Bella ed un parcheggio gratuito (da non sottovalutare a Taormina). L'appartamento è comodissimo, molto pulito e confortevole, con una vista fantastica sia sulla piscina sia sull'Etna. Abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo anche la presenza costante dei ragazzi dell'accoglienza che ci hanno dato preziosi consigli. Graditissimo l'omaggio con i prodotti locali. In definitiva Mon Repos Avenir è il miglior posto per soggiornare a Taormina. Ci torneremo presto. Nulla, tutto è stato perfetto.

• Marek (8/5): It's nice, but for young people, not for families. - Good equiped flat with everithing you need for your stay. Personal was great and helpfull. Very noisy place with lots of mosquitoes in your apartment ! We traveled with a baby and couldn't sleep three out of four nights. The villa also hosts parties and weddings and the music played all night like in your apartment.

It takes 20 minutes to get to the nearest beach, 25 minutes on foot to the center.

Trop compliqué en voiture (ZTL et stationnement), sinon en taxi. - Une salle de réception très bruyante le soir (jusqu'au milieu de la nuit) dans un batiment attenant du même domaine.

• Adam (9/5): Superb - Beautiful setting and clean, functional, comfortable double room for a family of four with two young children (3 and 6). Kids loved the garden and pool area. Very warm and welcoming staff especially Rudi who went over and above to help us during our stay and helped with WhatsApp recommendations. Would definitely recommend as a base for exploring Taormina and surrounding towns. It’s probably not quite walkable into Taormina for a young family with a buggy/stroller. Walk is very uphill with lots of stairs and there’s no pavement on the roads (though most of the walk can be done on the stairs). For those who can manage, the walk is lovely though.
• Rhiannon (6/5): please fix the hot water & AC :( - Washing machine and dish washer included. Staff were kind and helpful. The pasta & sauce as a gift was nice. Also the wine, thank you. Staff also gave good recommendations. Hot water only lasted 2 minutes - I couldn’t shower (shampoo, condition hair, and body wash) without it turning freezing cold. I don’t take long showers either. It was miserable. My husband and I also got eaten by bugs - we’re both covered in bug bites. The room didn’t get cleaned once during the 6 days we were there. No dryer to dry clothes. AC did not work. Pool water was very cold. Couldn’t connect phone to the TV - no AirPlay.

Welcome basket was a nice touch. Lovely property close to Taormina but worth noting that you did really need to get taxis to and from Taormina town and beach due to the road not really being walkable. Was fine for us though!

Our room was bright, spacious, and impeccably clean, with excellent amenities that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. During our visit, there was an event taking place, which initially caused some disturbance, but the owner promptly addressed the situation and resolved it to our satisfaction. The hotel’s parking facilities were convenient, and the overall location was ideal, with plenty of attractions and activities nearby. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely return. Highly recommended!

The staff was super friendly and kind It a bit far from the city centre, it is 20 euros to get a taxi to go up, and walking up has a lot of stairs. But we were aware when we booked it

• Claire (9/5): Enjoyed our stay. - The location is 15 to 20 minutes walk to Taormina via road and steps , not suitable if not fit. There is a bus stop 200 mts up the hill, but we did not use this. some other guests had problems with bus stopping at bus stop. Taxi standard 20Euros. Generally quiet ,we had the pool to ourselves a couple of times. We had gd information to find supermarket and visiting sites. The villa next door shares the car park, note it is a wedding venue, so some noise from celebrations, but did not trouble us too much. Nothing, it would have been good to know about wedding venue prior to booking, and it is a little far if not fit to town.

Buses are available but not very frequent.

• Arthur (10/5): A hidden gem in Taormina, overlooking the sea and Mount Etna, just beautiful 😍😍😍!!!!!!! - This place is a hidden gem. Our stay began even before we arrived as the lovely concierge Paolo was WhatsApp me to find out if there was anything we needed on arrival. Checkin was swift and Paolo sent me loads of information, not just about the property but where to go, close by amenities, transportation links(we were driving so he sent the best car parks and tips). Now to the place itself. Wow! It is located perfectly, not too close to the center but a walkable distance so you always felt like you were leaving the center Taormina for a little hide out in the hills. Once you get used to the winding roads, driving to and from the property is magical. Also loved the olive grove carpark, nice touch 👌🏾 . Our room had 2 balconies, a large one overlooking the pool and sea with a retractable shade and a small one overlooking Mount Etna(my wife’s fav reading spot). The living room was large and spacious and the kitchen was fully kitted with everything you could possibly need to eat in(which we did). My fav was the espresso machine which I made maximum use of lol. Lovely large TV which ordinarily wouldn’t matter to me but the Euros were on so it was perfect watching a game and glancing at the sea. Everything was super clean, the AC was beautiful but tbh the flat is nicely airy so didn’t need it too much even if it was in the 30s(cent) when we stayed. This place honestly felt like a secret, I would probably visit again just to chill out there and go out once or twice. We don’t usually book serviced type apartments but this has opened our minds to it because we went onto a 5star resort/spa after Taormina but we were missing this place so bad lol. I want to add again just how much Paolo added to the trip, the fact he was a WhatsApp message away and super responsive, I lost count of how many things he helped us out with, honestly levelled up our stay.

It has two terraces: one overlooks the pool and the garden and from the other you can enjoy a wonderdul view of Etna volcano. The apartment is fully equipped. The beautiful garden is maintened at top level. Even the pool is so peaceful and there’s plenty of sun loungers available. The team couldn’t have been more helpful. We will definitely come back. • Elise (10/5): Clean, spacious apartment, beautiful pool and amazing views. The walk to Taormina is dangerously. - Clean communal area and apartment. Views were beautiful. Apartment is a sun trap but aircon great. Pool area was so peaceful. Paolo was fantastic. He was around a lot and when he wasn’t he would reply almost immediately to any messages we sent. Car park large and easy to park in. You absolutely need a car if you plan to stay here. And you need to be brave to drive in and around Taormina area!!! The road it is on does not feel safe to walk on at all. It’s narrow, windy and cars and mopeds speed round it. There were a fair few pedestrian tourists walking up it to get to Taormina but it didn’t feel safe and certainly was not safe at all at night when there are no lights. Despite Taormina being so close, taxis are €20 each way. So it’s either an expensive taxi or a dangerous up hill walk. If you’re not brave and fit and want to visit Taormina regularly I’d suggest finding accommodation closer or in Taormina.
• Louise (5/5): An ok stay but issues need attention to justify the pricing - Paolo was incredibly helpful with check in arrangements, restaurant recommendations, places to visit and parking tips. He is a credit to the property. The second balcony with a view of Mt Etna was lovely. The wine, pasta and nibbles basket was a lovely touch and greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, three out of the four nights that we stayed, the large villa venue next door had events with unreasonably loud music from early evening until 2am. The property has an issue with smelly drains in the bathroom, so we had to leave the bathroom window open all the time. The hot water tank above the shower is small so can just about do a pre dinner shower for two people but ran cold for us very quickly and you then have to wait for it to heat up again before you have any hot water. Our apartment was on the hill side of the building so there was no view to the coast over Isola Bella - there is also no way of seeing it from the gardens. The swimming pool water has a mouldy smell which is left on your swimming costume - it could do with a proper chemical treatment for hygiene purposes. The main balcony blind randomly goes in and out by itself without anyone using the remote control.
• Hazel (8/5): Lovely apartment, great host. - Lovely apartment and the pool area and views and sublime. Real oasis and lovely to enjoy the garden. Paolo was so helpful. Walk into town isn’t too long (although use the steps it’s a death road with the cars). The walk to the beach is terrible so perhaps drive - not the apartment’s fault that’s Sicily limited walking paths! Sadly cold shower and the WiFi is poor quality (we weren’t looking to spend much time on screen but it was only one bar and hard to book things etc). Overall it was quite expensive but that’s Taormina!

• Paulmc5485 (9/5): Great accommodation, stunning views, would highly recommend, Taormina is beautiful - We had a great stay, the room was exactly as expected, balcony view of the pool, it was clean. Paulo was a great host, provided us with great information about the accommodation and gave us recommendations for places to eat and things to do. Would highly recommend. The views are stunning, Taormina is hands down the most beautiful place I've been to in my life. We also got engaged so that made our trip so much more memorable, especially in a place like Sicily For those who may not be able to walk very far, you are a good 20-30min walk in to the old town, up 3 steep flights of stairs but the views are amazing. Taxi was about 16 euros in to town which is quite expensive.

• Yulia (9/5): 2 terraces with nice pool/sea view and Etna view. Apartment well-equipped - The room is on a sunny side of the building. We were travelling in January, so were able to enjoy the sun on the terrace with a view on the pool and partly on the sea. Huge benefit is a terrace view on both pool/sea and Etna. We were very pleased to find a warm welcome in the room, which was a bottle of wine, spaghetti, tomato sauce, jam and crackers. The manager of the apartment Paolo was absolutely nice, always ready to help and answer any question. He gave some good recommendations of places to visit, where to eat, taxis etc. The territory around the building is very green, clean and beautiful. Probably someone would find it a bit difficult to go up the hill to be able to visit Taormina center, though it wasn't difficult for us. Just an issue to consider. The apartment needs a bit of refreshment, like painting walls, baseboards.
• Vittorio (10/5): Wonderful place, full equipment, helpful manager - Beautiful apartment a few steps away from Taormina town center (10 minutes walk, but several steps upstairs). Lots of place in both rooms, good furniture and lots of accessories. Wonderful, wide balcony with a large table, ideal for breakfast in the sun. Amazing view over the garden and pool, some spots of the sea directly visible from room and balcony. Paolo was giving us lots of information about the surroundings and always willing to help us for every further need The bathroom is quite cold during winter. No direct heating and no ventilation: full fog after 2 minutes shower

• Stuart (7/5): Good - Paid breakfast was great. Good service. If veggie make sure you stipulate when ordering ss cold meats are included. Wedding/ party venue next door. Be aware that it can go on until after 1am and is almost every night. The double glazing provided almost no noise insulation. The walk into the old town is up 3 steep fights of steps but is only 15 mins away. A challenge in the heat of the day. Can be unnerving when coming down. You could always bus/cab it.

• Mariano (8/5): Very good - Very spacious and well equipped room. The pool is very nice and if you are in the more expensive rooms you have great views of the coast and Isola Bella. The complex is relatively new, built 4 years ago (written in 2023) In our room the wifi barely worked during the whole stay. If you have a car the location is great, if you don't then you are halfway between the city uphill and the beach. The options you have is to walk 20 mins up or down in a road that has bo sidewalk and gets very very hot in the summer, or call a taxi to take you up for 20 euros and takes around 20 minutes to get to the hotel.
• Damian (10/5): Fantastic stay in a beautiful apartment. Special mention to Paulo who was 'Amazing' very helpful. - Location was good in-between the Town and beaches.. We walked as using the car could be stressful at times unless you got up early to use the CarParks. Walking to the Town was easy for us but others may struggle as it involves steep steps but the views are great. Only one small issue .. Fill the fridge and cupboards for the stay, as while staying at the Pool for the day you need food obviously, we did a shop first day at big supermarket with the car. Would be even better if there was a mini market close by, as using the car to call to the shop wasn't an option due to parking issue in Taormina. We eat out every night which was lovely, but you only want to do the walk twice a day max.

• Uri (9/5): great facility - very spacious. the apartment included everything that you might need. Paolo waited to us. helped with the luggage. provided a lot of information and was very responsive. it is between the lower Taormina and the old (upper) city do you must be with a car
• Katri (9/5): Very nice apartment with a view and close to everything in Taormina. Free parking and access to a swimming pool. - New clean property and comfortable beds. Even the sofabed is comfortable and big enough for 2 adults sharing. The bathroom has a separate hallway to it so you don’t need to walk through sleeping areas which makes this one bed apartment easy to share with another couple. Apartment has a lovely view to both sides ie the pool and the Etna. Common areas are very nice and has a luxurious feel to it. We were given 2 bottles of wine too on our arrival and a basket full of snacks too! Paolo was very helpful during our stay. The keylock to the apartment is electric and little tricky to use. One day we couldn’t get out of the apartment and the door handle was broken from inside. This resort is also under construction (building more apartments) with builders on site building and making noise all day Monday to Friday. One morning we were woken up at 7am with their banging and laughing outside of our door but Paolo asked them to start later on the next day. The pool is not heated which is worth noting too if travelling I. the winter months.

• Judith (10/5): Great view and fantastic garden! - Great location with a fantastic view and a beatiful garden. Paolo does a fantastic job to make you feel welcome and is very helpful and responsive. The apartment is rather small but cosy and offers everything you need. Would definitively recommend this place. There are no shops or restaurants nearby-but on the other side it is quiet at night.

• Roxanne (10/5): We loved our stay in Taormina! The apartment was a great base for our trip and made it extra special. The location is be - Clean, spacious, modern, relaxing, fab location between old town and the beach! Nothing - It was great!
• Liron (10/5): amazing - the place is beautiful. we had everything we needed at the apartment. the view is amazing. we really liked the pool. Pablo, the host was kind and friendly it’s a little bit far from the center of Taormina (by walk) so you have to have a car.
