• Krittapat (8/5): Real local area that is quiet and peaceful - I was looking for a real local area that is quiet and peaceful. The Lord Nelson fits exactly like I expected. And the pool is perfect for lounging and drinking. If you want to dig your toes in the sand, only 5 steps away from the pool.

Zimmerreinigung manchmal gar nicht und manchmal sehr schlecht. Lage zwar direkt am Meer aber dort will niemand baden. Strand und Wasser total verdreckt .Riesiges Areal von Chemiegabriken sehr nahe dran und in Sichtweite. Kein gutes Gefühl. Mietmotorad schrottreif. Rauchen auf dem Balkon verboten.

• Stevie Gene (9/5): Always enjoy staying at The Lord Nelson Hotel. - Did not eat breakfast. Had coffee and it was great. Dinner one night was very tasty. Shower has no barrier to prevent water from spilling out all over the bathroom floor.

• Karin (10/5): Very, very nice. Do not miss! - Location perfect right on the beach, all seaview from room and balcony. Comfortable and stylish room. Balcony with good chairs. Cosy communal areas downstairs with seating areas, nicely decorated in british navy style and lots of plants and flowers. Sunbeds and umbrellas at the beach. Bicycle to borrow. VStaff always smiling. A very very nice place to rest for a few days. Plastic on matress is a BIG NO NO. Makes you wake up sweaty in the night. Had to open up the bedding and cover with a big towel. Beach not accessible at high tide.

Pee Dawan is the best! Not enough personnel I think so you cannot have food any longer during the day, only breakfast and evening It’s the third time I’ve been here and this is a letdown I would come back with my parents next year but only if there is at least Fingerfoods and pizza diring the day at the pool. Another thing : Please note that following Thai Regulation nearly all soft drinks are ‘less sugar’ and thus using replacement products like aspartaam, maltitol, sucralose… Due to health issues I cannot have these products nor alcohol, therefore please sell Coca Cola glass bottles, 325 ml plastic bottles or 180 ml cans. These are real original cokes not using substitute sugars. Having these products would greatly be appreciated!

• stuart (8/5): Beachfront hotel well worth staying here - Room was comfortable, with amazing views and right on the beach. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Food quality was very good and reasonably priced. Pool was nice and plenty of places to sit and relax. No sun loungers around pool and tide in during the day so couldn't use the beach area shown on pictures. Some bulbs need replacing in the room and only 4 clothes hangers. But overall a great stay and wouldn't hesitate in booking there again.

• priwziest (8/5): We would recommend it for the great service and unbeatable beach access. - Helpful Staff and Great Beach Access The reception staff was very attentive and helpful. While parking directly in front of the hotel is limited, there is a large, open-air parking lot just a short walk across the street. The hotel's other side is right on the beach, with direct access to the sand. We stayed in a corner family room, which had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a small common area with a table and kitchenette. The only issue was that the shower in our bathroom drained very slowly, causing water to pool.

• Kevin (7/5): Only short stays and it suited our needs for location but would not choose for a longer holiday stay - Reception and downstairs areas were all very well presented and although breakfast was extra it was pretty good. Room was comfortable but view and balcony underwhelming. Half the lights in room not working so only left main room light usable. Lift out of use on arrival so climb to 4th floor less than ideal.

• Evan (7/5): Decent stay but can be a bit noisy on the road side - RIght on the beach but the waters in and around Ban Chang are dirty and polluted, so only used the pool. There is ZERO sound proofing, could hear the music and shouting at the bar across the street like they were in our room with us. I recommend paying extra to have a sea-view room to avoid this problem.

• Zoe (8/5): Fun day and night , little gem in the middle of what seemed to be a quiet area - Cool vibes and good food and atmosphere :) free parking across the road Apart from this pub and a bar over the road there didn’t seem to be much else around within walking distance , but I was only there for one day one night so don’t know the area too well .

• Jo (7/5): The hotel and the location are great ! - We used the hotel every weekend for over 2 years during the corona time 2020 - 2022. This was now a visit after longer than a year absence. Their dog Lucy whom we have known since then gave us the warmth of welcome. A real friend spending all the time with us walking the beach and a night walk to 7/11 exposing herself to attacking neighbors' dogs and waiting in front of our room coming then into the room when we opened the door in the morning. Heart breaking experience :o) Asked for day-us until 5 p.m. which was confirmed at extra 500 Baht. Then at around 1 p.m. the staff asked us to check out at 4 p.m. because another guest would arrive at 5 p.m. Being exposed to change our plans we decided to leave and vacated the room at 1.30 p.m. Our request to reconsider the 500 Baht and charge a lower rate were denied so we paid and left.
