Guest Reviews
- Peter (2/5): - Booked this place 2 months in advance and was told upon arrival they didn’t have my booking. The area is very sketchy and exterior very run down. Its not worth the stay, find somewhere else and don’t take the chance!
- Mario (4/5): - G
- coreen (4/5): - Shower curtain had sooo much mildew
- Alicia (2/5): - Management was very rude
- Skyla (2/5): - The wifi doesnt reach the room, theres graffiti inside. The mattress had black stuff on it (knew that because they didnt use a fitted sheet). The owners aggressively were knocking on my door at 7am and kept asking for a deposit I already gave them. There is a bottle depot next door so good luck sleeping in. I left early. I did not feel safe to be there alone.
- Valerie (2/5): - Did not honor my booking even though I had paid several months in advance. Staff scoffed when I asked if there were any other hotels in the area and walked away mid-conversation. This place is a scam.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Had reservation two weeks in advance, drove two hours for them to rudely tell me they didn't have a room available.
- Charintporn (2/5): - This place need to remodel especially the bathroom.
the shower curtain looks so so bad.
- Jorge (2/5): - I don't know why Expedia has this property as an option.
When I checked in the person in the "desk" behind a mullet proof window charged me $10 to use the TV's remote control and told me to bring it back to avoid penalty fee.
The place was stinky, awful, bed horrible, no phone, no INTERNET (never worked) and the worst part was at night, my next door neighbor had a bunch a visits, every time someone knock his door it felt like they where knocking mine.
I think we was selling something because the weed smell was very strong all night long.
This property should be visited by Expedia team, I dare you to try it once.
- Orlando (2/5): - I think i deserve my money back what a horrible experience the room was extremely stink i had to buy a can of airefreshner and use the entire can and it still stunk, the check in was not special the room door was tampered with soni had a chair against the door when i tried to sleep all furniture was beaten up chair, bed, night stands drawers were falling out, wall were dirty top to bottom, fridge was banged up AC is cold noisy were stink and dirty and smelled horrible, i actually slept without AC thank god am from the Caribbean so i am accustomed to heat, half roll of toilet paper, shower had hair circulating around the drainer, the air vent for the toilet was very stink and full of dust on it like it has never been cleaned since the motel has opened, don't walk barefoot in the room your feet will be black as tar, in closing it looks like a crack house inside, i may be wrong but i think i was given the worst room because i booked early and got it cheaper because the check in guy checked in people when i was there and they paid $95 for a room although i was told there was no more rooms available, thank god i only had a few hours in the room my flight was 6am. Final warning enter at your own risk, This experience was a damper on my trip Expedia do something about these false advertising motels.
- Jorge (2/5): - the gentleman in the office is quite alright but his wife has no manners very rude, the condition of the the facility is awful, as soon as you turn on the A/C a bad smell comes out and you can barely shower because of no to little water, and one of the tables had yellow stains (like pee) on it that was when I immediately left the room in the middle of the night
- Gabriel (2/5): - vary unclean, socks turned black fairly quick, slimy shower, holes with roaches moving in and out.
- Priscilla (8/5): - Good
- alex (6/5): - Bad area
- Alberto (4/5): - The staff was great, room need some improvement especially the bed it has wires sticking out on the sides (not safe) no electrical outlets on bathroom bedding and towels weren't clean, it need a mayor overhaul
- Israel (2/5): - People running the place are rude, don’t accommodate for anything have attitude if you ask for anything or ask questions! Said to go call Expedia for my refund and the place was dirty poorly maintained and no wifi when description said it had wifi, place is disgusting
- Ravita (2/5): - This motel is barely taken care of. The shower is dirty, toilet seat practically broken. Towels are very old. The fridge was not plugged in and dirty so it smells. So when I checked in, they needed a $20 cash non refundable deposit. If I wanted to check in 1 hr early, that was $30. Also the card to enter the room is invalid after 24 hours. You have to ring the owner of the place every time so they can reactivate it. I was there for 5 nights and I had to ask every time. The walls are sound proof but the door opens out into the parking lot so you hear lots of noises. Wifi is incredibly slow. I'm not asking for a 5 star service. I'm just asking for a little better service. I was there by myself. The place itself seemed safe and parking was great. However the area isn't the greatest.
- Pablo (4/5): - Pros: The location is near Banc of California Stadium. There are places to go eat near. The price is reasonable.
Cons: Missing light bulb, towels were stained, springs on bed were sticking out, outside the property there was a lot of garbage on the street.
I won’t be staying at this property in future trips to LA.
- Raul (2/5): Bad! - Discussing place! Look elsfor a few bucks more!!!!!!!!
- Verified traveler (2/5): Bad area - Booked and was unaware of the area it was in. There seemed to be a towel that was clean.
- James (4/5): I did not feel safe - I did not feel safe. This motel is in a bad neighborhood. During my stay: Police visited, car repair at the motel parking lot, laud music. Place is filthy.
- gary (2/5): - They let me in early but charged me an additional $17. Charged me a $75 deposit but because I left the remote control in the room gave me only $5 of my deposit back. The remote didn't work and I had to use the controls on the TV. Floors dirty, Toilet had black substance on outside of bowl. Bedspread had a hole in it. Screen on window broken. White plaster residue left on corner of floor.
- doug (2/5): - Bad. Very bad. Very very bad. If you are an average American from middle America, you will never even get out of your car to try and check in.
Please heed this warning. Bad. Very bad. Very very bad.
UNLESS you are going to do a Scarface type drug deal, Park Motel 4151 S. Figueroa IS NOT FOR YOU.
Should, under NO circumstances be a Cheaptickets available motel.
- Joanna (2/5): Horrible place!! - simply awful!! the room super dirty, there were no towels, no mirror in the bathroom. It has been the worst experience we have lived. I had to go to the family dollar to buy everything to clean and a blanket. it was too late to cancel and find another near the stadium. everything was already sold out. that was the reason we stayed there. I do not recommend it at all! apart from the fact that a drug dealer lives there. It was a very unpleasant experience.
- David (2/5): - DO NOT STAY HERE - BEWARE! I should have listened to the other reviews. By far the worst stay I’ve ever experienced. If you are staying to hit the concerts at banc stadium, uber to a better motel farther away. This place is a true dump - straight out of a horror movie or drug addict movie. Unsanitary in every way. Sheets were dirty had hair and stains on them, entire room was grimy, toilet had piss n crap stains all over it, shower literally had slime on the floor, tv didn’t work. Toilet clogged. Loud ghetto patrons staying in other rooms. The staff lady had no emotion, no respect or manners to treat you as a customer. They don’t give a damnn about their customers clearly. Literally everything that could be wrong was. It’s worth the extra money to stay elsewhere or uber from the concert to a hotel that’s perhaps not in walking distance. I can’t believe this city or some agency can’t shut this place down for how scary and disgusting it is. Expedia needs to take this place off. BEWARE!
- Elijah (2/5): Not worth your money - During checkin I had to give them $5 cash to get the key to my room, I don’t mind paying a security deposit but I didn’t get the money back so it felt like I was ripped off. The room was not very clean at all and smelled horribly like cigarettes. Left early didn’t stay the night would not recommend.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Very bad place - Bathroom smelled like dirty feet and hair in the drain funk. The sheets and pillows had someones hair on them. The checkin was very unprofessional. Stay away, do not come here.
- Katherine (2/5): - The pictures on the Expedia site are not what the room looked like. Very misleading. Those pics make the room look small, with modest amenities. Which is fine for the price! But they also make it look clean. Which it was NOT. The walls were filthy. The room REEKED of cigarette smoke. Everything we brought with us stunk and had to be washed when we got back home. The mini fridge was dirty inside and never got cold. Those pics are NOT AT ALL what our bathroom looked like. The shower was so dirty there was no way we were using it. The bedding was so thin and ratty we didn't even want to get inside the bed, so slept on top of it wearing jackets under a blanket we had in our trunk. The owners were also gruff and curt when we checked in. The only redeeming aspect is it's proximity to the LA Coliseum, and that they have a parking lot. Which is why I chose it. The location and surrounding area is super sketchy though. We hadn't been there that long when we saw the owner had to bounce someone out of the lot that had wandered in from the street. Definitely don't leave anything in your car here!
- Verified traveler (4/5): Gross, but Served it’s Purpose - It was easy to find, one of the few good things about this place. Their credit card machine was broken so we had to go get cash and come back which was pretty inconvenient. We got to the room it wasn’t necessarily dirty but it didn’t feel clean. There was graffiti carved in the table and tv. The shower and sink could never completely turn off. There was a mini fridge with a cockroach inside. Glitter was all over the floor. The AC worked great which I was happy about since it was a hot day. It was fantastic being within walking distance of the Banc of California Stadium so I could crash for the night after a late concert. The area isn’t too bad. There are definitely worse areas in LA. I didn’t feel unsafe. The next morning we wanted to get an early start and while we were getting our stuff in the car the woman from the front desk approached us and said we owed more money… I’m still not sure why but I just wanted to leave and didn’t feel like arguing. If you remember their credit card machine isn’t working so we had to get more cash. Overall a not great experience but it was somewhere to crash for the night.
- Tracy (2/5): Disappointed - Pros: close to freeway, free parking
Cons: sink faucet was broken, refrigerator didn’t work, floor was filthy, towels were dingy, female owner has a very nasty attitude. She doesn’t greet guests, always looks angry, and comes off as prejudice. If you don’t like black people get out of our neighborhoods!! They wanted to charge me an extra $5 for a second room key when my reservation said there were 2 of us. Also, they falsely advertise “pet friendly”. The establishment has a huge no pets sign and the male owner tried to reprimand me for having my service dog. If you don’t want pets then change your description. Will never stay there again.
- Ronn (4/5): No more roaches and we're all good! - Very friendly people and hospitable. The only thing is roaches. I saw three each I was there. It is easy for me to stop there after work as a pose to getting home from work four hours after you sign out. This good in-between work and home it allows me to get addiquit sleep I need to do my job properly.
- Michael (2/5): - Arrived at hotel at 7pm saturday night. had a reservation and the hotel manager very rudely told us they overbooked. we had tickets to a concert that we ended up being very late for because we had to get a hotel 3 miles away. very horrible experience and unorganized. I want my money back. still has not been returned
- Tyler (2/5): - Smelled like death inside the room but that’s because a mouse died under the bed. Cockroach’s all over the room
- Tawny (8/5): Comfortable - Was comfortable but small. The only thing that got me was there really wasn't an electrical plug for my hair dryer or to charge our phones. But overall it was better than I expected.
- Donald Phillip (4/5): - The AC unit would not turn on, none of the windows would open, and the room was very hot. We did not sleep in this room. We left and slept elsewhere.
- Jadzia (2/5): - Didn’t know we had to give a $5 cash deposit hold. We didn’t have any cash on us so we had to run around to find an ATM. Very rude staff. There were roaches in the room, dirty sheets, no hand soap, barely working toilet, AC only blasted heat until nighttime. They also wanted all of our personal information which made me very uncomfortable to give out; if seemed random and unnecessary. Try to avoid going here if possible.
- zachary (2/5): - location was not too bad. The people running It didn't have my reservation until I was about to pull out of the parking lot. we only had one towel we could use the other was covered in holes. there was a homeless person sleeping in the parking lot and started yelling when he woke up it was a very noisy place.
The bed was as hard as a wood plank with only two very thin pillows.
When we left I asked for my $10 dollar deposit back the lady at the desk pretended she didn't understand me and gave me a 5 until we pressured her on it then she understood English. you definitely get what you pay for here.
- Nancy J (8/5): - Its very seedy. But we had no problems. Just feeling uncomfortable.
- Karla (2/5): - I didn’t like anything about this motel . Had bed bugs was disgusting . Holes in the shower curtains . Room was smelly . Worst stay ever .
- Nathan (4/5): - The motel was on the level street of LA, the homeless population was next to the rooms and the doors felt unsecure. The room smelled like cigars or cigarette smoke. It was incredibly loud, and the AC worked occasionally. The bathroom was a little messy as well to start and the mini-fridge had drinks left over from the last attendees.
- Henry (6/5): Near Bank of Ca stadium, but a dump! - Property is a dump, but excellent location for attending events at Bank of California Stadium.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Upon check in the woman helping us was very rude and copped more attitude becausei was having a hard time hearing her through the glass. The room had a dingy old smoke smell had to wipe down some stuff before setting stuff on it. Thankfully i brought clorox wipes and lysol The toilet was dirty around the base and not properly secured. I found and killed a cockroach and we had to walk on the bathroom towels provided because the floors were not clean at all. $140 for one night plus a $5 cash deposit that we were not told about. This place is fine in a pinch as its a place to sleep but I definitely will not return again anytume soon.
- Albert (2/5): Dont do it - I stayed at the hotel because it was within walking distance to the concert i was in town for. At fisrt glance, the room and property were decent, room and grounds were kept.
When i got to the room there were cocaroaches ALL OVER the bathroom. They were in the shower, on the counter, they even came out into the room. I went to the front desk and they told me there are no refunds. Plus...they tried to keep my deposit from me.
If you are in the market for a room in Los Angeles...keep looking
- Verified traveler (2/5): Hell hole - The entire toilet in my room was wobbly & felt like a rocking chair- I was scared that it would come apart!
The rooms were smelly, bath towels had holes & looked like cleaning rags! One measly hand soap in bathroom
- Verified traveler (2/5): Stay away unless you like bugs - This place in completely infested with cockroaches. Stains all over the walls and ceilings and holes in the walls. I had bugs crawling over me while I was sleeping.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The room was not available at 3pm. I was there at 2:30 to confirm my room and they sai yes but check-in is at 3 so I left to get a bite to eat and came back at 3 and the room was not ready. They literally took the guest out from the room they were going to give me at around 3:30 pm and went in to clean it but the room still had a smell after what I thought was a really quick pick up. It was just a bad experience overall.
- Gilbert (2/5): BeWare - The worst experience of my life. Ghetto dangerous drug dealers prostitution you name it.
- Jessica (2/5): Dirty smelly digs - This place sucked it was dirty and smelly and i even got a rash from sleeping on the bed it was really gross i felt dirty coming out of the shower than going in .
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Terrible place people in the front office are rude and unprofessional
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This place needs condemned. The cord to the air unit was cut and taped back. The shower was filthy, water would not drain and I wore flip flops as opposed to standing in it. The room smells of smoke. Bedding was ripped and something was smeared all over the curtains and mirrors. The tv does not work. When you arrive, you are asked for $20. Assumed it was a deposit for the remote and when I checked out I asked for the $20 deposit back, the woman said “Bye” and walked off. I was running late for my flight and it was not worth escalating a situation. There is no lobby and you are checking in/out while standing outside. When they walk off, you are standing outside in the parking lot. The ONLY thing positive about this place is the parking. I booked here based upon the proximity to USC for graduation. If you are considering this location for the same reason, STAY ELSEWHERE! USC has commencement down to an art form and there is designated parking for the graduates. Oh I forgot to mention the refrigerator did not work and roaches . . .
- Eric (6/5): For what it was, I don't regret staying there. - It was nothing to write home about. It served the purpose. The staff wasn't friendly, but someone was at the window when I needed the Wi Fi code, and that is good enough for me. Would I stay there again? No. For the money, I'd look for something a bit better.
- June (10/5): Nice place - Nice experience
- Jnasty (8/5): - Quite, relaxing, nice ppl around, and stores close by
- Verified traveler (10/5): Bang on a budget... - I always go to this place to get my bang on with other hot DL dudes I even met the hottest Asian guy there and got laid by him too it was and is a quiet little place
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Had to argue with the staff and convince them that they didn’t have to charge my card again after I had Already paid online! They are extremely inept!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - They need to change everything. The staff is horrible the property is not clean at all. They charged me 3 times in my account. That's sucks I'm still waiting for my money to get back
- Portia (10/5): Exceptional - great room great pp
- Kevin (4/5): - Didn’t like the smelly towels and uncomfortable mattress
- Verified traveler (2/5): - graffiti all on the walls dirty towles & bed bugs
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Manager onsite was excellent and very attentive. Place kept very clean and location great to walk to football game.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I have a bad experience at Park Motel ... The staff members are not cooperative .The bathroom is not clean . The shower is not working . There are a bad smell in the room and the bathroom . . .
- Brian (4/5): - I didn't stay. Driver drove to it, and I decided to get something else. Got the USC Hotel and went there instead.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - If you only need a place to sleep for the night it's ok, but don't expect anything special. It was not nosey at all.
- Dave (6/5): - 11 minute walk to the stadium was fantastic. Close to the interstate, plenty of restaurants near by.
- David (6/5): ok for a bed and shower - lower end area but offered basic needs, bed shower. that's all we needed for our football game
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Close to concert, 5 minute walk. Safe and maintained.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I like the fact that the manager was so patient and kind.. I work over night and the manager awaited my arrival and made sure I was content .
- Charles (6/5): An Oasis in Los Angeles - It would have been nicer if I had known there were times; there would be a long wait for hot water. It would also been nicer if I had known there would not be anyone coming into the room to tidy up. I was there for USC graduation. Its close to USC. The location was the best I could hope for. I used UBER to get around so no complaints there. Don't compare it to the large hotels because its not.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The bed is a brick; there are two outlets and neither is near the bed, could not be more inconvenient. Couldn’t find hot water from shower. WiFi adequate at best. No place to hang clothes.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great room. Great location. VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL PEOPLE.
- Roger J (8/5): Can’t beat location for Rams game! - If you’re going to a Rams game- you CANNOT best the location and convenience. If you just need an ok bed to sleep in. This is your place. However, they are sticklers for 3pm checkin. No matter what. They also won’t hold your bags. So be prepared if your bringing luggage.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - This hotel is bar far the worst I’ve ever stayed at.
- Donald (4/5): Good reviews misleading - We booked because the reviews were good. We now suspect they were false. The neighborhood is rundown, the outside appearance reminded us of a prison, the room smelled bad, and there was very little in the room, not even reading lamps. We turned around, put our stuff back in the car and called Hotels.com. The guy who helped us told us there was no money back, but was very helpful in giving us the name and location and current room ability of a nice motel just a few miles away.
- Overpower448 (2/5): - I honestly did not expect it would that bad. Shower handle was broken , bed cover was dirty & uncomfortable. If they change the beds , get new covers and clean the room , it will be a descent place to stay.
- Mark (6/5): - It was ok, it is walking distance to LA memorial coliseum. Nothing fancy but room was clean, bed was comfortable. Not the best area of LA. Would stay again only if going back to coliseum.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Outside a lot of homeless people, feel your self not 100% safety
