Rooms were modern and the tv system was one on the best I’ve seen at a hotel lately. I didn’t like the additional cost of parking. For the price I paid for the room, parking should be included. I also thought that not having a free breakfast was a little tacky

The bed was extremely comfortable and I have a bad back. Although there seems to be a lot of restaurants in the neighborhood, bar food was about the only thing that was available on a sat night, which at 10 seemed a little confusing. I didn’t get the parking instructions so I paid $35 in a different ramp instead of $15. It also would’ve been wonderful if the rooftop bar would’ve served appetizers.

- Robert (6/5): - We weren't able to check-in until 9:30 PM. When we did, we were informed they had over-booked, and they had booked us a room at another facility. When a manager got involved in the conversation, she said they had a water leakage issue that prevented the room to be sold. We were too tired to argue and drove the 15 minutes to the other facility. Apparently, we are going to be reimbursed for the initial room, and they covered the cost of the new room. If that holds true, we will be happy, but we are still disappointed we weren't informed earlier before check-in.

Also the hotel is dog friendly with a couple of patches of grass just outside the front door (where guests & locals with dogs pick up their dogs's poo). Nearby grassy areas - across the street from the hotel to the south - make for perfect, short, two- or three-blocks walks. Small breakfast area downstairs with what looked like a nice breakfast. Next door there is also a nice breakfast & lunch place.

A few small issues they use the new occupant sensing thermostats so the temp can be a little inconsistent and they have constant fan locked out. The bed I had was very firm and had pillows that were thin/crushed to almost nothing.

However, we had to pay FULL price for the parking garage because the hotel staff gave us a parking garage discount pass that had EXPIRED. So, they we are, leaving the parking garage on checkout and we can’t exit because the hotel parking pass we were given was INVALID. Flustered and angry, we called the Help phone button but we were told we had to pay the $76 or we couldn’t exit. So, please explain this to me - how is it our fault that the hotel gave us an expired parking garage pass?? Beware, if you stay here, make SURE when you check in that you have a parking pass that actually WORKS before you’re stranded in the parking garage!!

Complimentary breakfast would have been nice. The bar on the first floor was not open and I thought we would be able to enjoy a drink there at night.

I couldn’t believe how often and loud it was. As a result my sleep was greatly disrupted, but the hotel was good other than that.
