- Peter (4/5): Not again - Room was great, breakfast was too, but... . Location of hotel was questionable, was always worried my car was going to be broken into. Drunk and drugged up locals stumbling around the area, cops were even called because they started a fire. One elevator was broken, we were on the 6th floor and took forever getting up and down with luggage and baseball equipment. Couldn't keep on car as we feared someone would break in. Lastly multiple noise complaints at 9pm for just talking normally. We couldn't even laugh without someone coming to our door, which leads me to think hotel has poor sound dampening

- I6389OHsarahf (2/5): Bed Bugs - I stay at the Homewood Suites hotel in North Bay every year for work. This past fall, I stayed at Homewood on and off for two months. During a 10 night stay, I experienced a severe case of bed bugs that left me with 15 bites on my face, several bites on my neck, arms and hands. When bringing this up at the front desk I did not receive any apology, and after their reimbursement of two one-night stays, I tried calling, to which they refused to answer the phone, stating that they had already given me all they can offer. After the incredible inconvenience of this situation, not to mention the anxiety it has caused, I am extremely disappointed with their lack of initiative in helping their customers or at the very least, have the decency to pick up their phone and apologize.

The lobby was very clean and open, people were enjoying the large tv. It was somewhat pricy but I didn’t have the lovely breakfast provided. The room was very clean and quiet. The entrance off Gormanville, there’s no signage which it badly needs.

Hotel only had a shallow pool, which was quite cold, and no hot tub. Disappointing after a long days drive but they didn’t advertise they had one. But come to find out their competitor, who also didn’t advertise one, did have one. Had I known I would have reserved there instead. Ice machine on my floor was not working.
