• Christopher (8/5): Comfortable stay with a lovely family. - The family who own the property couldn’t have been more helpful. The rooms were basic but had everything that was needed. The music from the other guests was very loud to the point we couldn’t hear the tv. When we were going to sleep we asked them to turn it down which they did.

• Michaelstuber (4/5): Terrible : Loud party and scammed by their trusted taxi - Okay room in the supposedly quiet backyard, simple functional helpful staff The hotel held a big party in the patio during my stay including microphone amplified singing so I couldn't sleep until 2:30 am. They arranged a trusted taxi for 200mx circa who would use meter (they didn't and charged 300 for a 15 min ride). Both is totally unacceptable and this place cannot be recommended!

• Shashank (10/5): Beautiful and Super Clean Family Run Place - Amazing family run place, it is super clean and very pleasant, it is very close to the bus station and in a convenient location to get to the Chepe Express train station. I never felt like a guest but rather part of the family, I even got invited to join the Alvarez family for Christmas Eve dinner by Cielo and it was an amazing evening! Overall an amazing stay!

• Merrilee (2/5): Never again. - There was basically nothing I liked about this place. See below. There was no breakfast and I wasn't even offered coffee. The room was dark and smelled moldy. The neighborhood was awful, with many, many aggressive stray dogs and poor surroundings. The photos of this place were not at all representative. The hosts were nice enough, but unfortunately I don't speak Spanish well and they spoke no English at all.

• Patricia (2/5): - It is impossible to get ahold of anyone at this hotel. I tried numerous times to change my arrival date. Apparently the number listed isn't even listed or correct. I lost money only because no one was available to answer my phone calls to reschedule.
• Benjamin (2/5): - I reserved one room online and reserved and paid for a 2nd room when i got there to check out today, january 31, 2022 and my guest and their three children were kicked out on friday, january 28th, after I returned to the U.S. on emergency, three days earlier. so, Hgen Apartment Suites Owner’s owe me at least 6x and 34.00a/day of refund. This goes up to the 204.00 U.S. In addition to this, the room was very cold with no heat on a night it dropped to 10 degrees, we didn't have enough cooking pots and eat ware, the water pressure was very low, the water took almost 10 minutes to heat up and the rooms were very small. Rooms were not 600 square feet, as I said in the advertisement; they were at most 350Sf. From this moment on I will rate you a 1 the lowest rating possible. I need reimbursed $204.00USD cashback for the days we didn't stay there? In addition, you should apologize to me and my guest.
