- Juliet (10/5): Clean and Comfy Stay Near Campus - Very spacious rooms. Clean and excellent value. Location near plenty of eateries and Virginia Tech was perfect and very walkable. Breakfast could have been a little better. More fruit, there was a little mold on the bread options, and bagel sandwich was hard as a rock after being left in the warmers. But I did like the amount of options for cereal and yogurt and coffee/tea bar.

- Anonymous (10/5): Deserves more than a 10! - The staff were fantastic. Before arrival I called to upgrade and Sandra went all out to get me a rate and a suite. Scott was at desk when we arrived and I have never had a check in go so fast and hebprovided a lot of good info. Aldo, we had our fog and in very early morning walks we would talk with Bertha who was at front desk. All three were just super. First time at a Residence Inn and because of them and the facility this chain will be our first choice when traveling and vacationing. Very good facilities and the breakfast offered a good selection of foods that were always replenished and fresh. Loved everything.

Played in the pool over several days. Lots of traffic in hotel associated with the university. It could be a little cleaner.

- Steven (4/5): Don’t accept room 225 - Nice big room, with a kitchen and a large fridge We were allocated room 225. As we arrived the dishwasher was still full of dishes and 2 of the glasses still had lipstick on them. All night the air conditioning unit from the corridor made a noise and the bed was vibrating from the machinery. Got very little sleep. On check out I wasn’t even asked if I’d enjoyed my stay, staff hardly acknowledged my existence as I handed in the key.

The hallway was nice and cool. Our room was 74F, despite using the AC on its coolest setting. Several other guests on the 3rd floor had their doors propped open, in an effort to cool their rooms. It was too warm to sleep comfortably.

- Military_Traveler11 (10/5): Good Experience in Blacksburg - Overall a nice property and nice option in Blacksburg. Location is fantastic - you can walk anywhere on campus by crossing a street. The room was clean and updated, the staff was helpful, and the breakfast was decent. The parking can be a bit challenging, but we found a spot. There was dog hair in our room, but it's a pet-friendly hotel, so it's not that surprising.
