- Dean (10/5): - It was a fantastic place to stay for our big group, worked out perfectly for us. Lovely house and location. We had a great time. Nothing major wrong that I can think of
- Linda (10/5): This charming Villa was one of the best houses we have had on our Marching Trips, just amazing - Location was great, perfect for our group of 6 ladies. plenty of space and bonus 4 bathrooms. Plenty of beds. Facilities were excellent. We would highly recommend this property for groups and large families.
- G65 (4/5): Very disappointing. - Having a number of bathrooms. The location was convenient for where we wanted to go. Overall the property was very disappointing particularly for the price we paid.
We were a party of 7 adults & 1 child - with luggage, I don’t think the property could have comfortably accommodated any more.
The kitchen, bathrooms, linens etc. were clean, however, the house felt grubby. It certainly doesn’t resemble the photos, which I suspect were taken some time ago.
The fabric sofa in the lounge was stained as was the carpet. The woodwork was dusty and the throws on the backs of the armchairs were tired and tatty - the whole place could do with a thorough clean. The bbq was filthy and unusable when we arrived, however, this was quickly cleaned when I mentioned it.
The house is on a very busy road so traffic noise & vibration is an issue. It is single glazed and we found it really difficult to heat.
Definitely our most disappointed holiday rental.
- John (8/5): Great stay close to Uni. - Lovely house and close to UC Very busy road and when large trucks passed it would shake the house.

- Barbetti (10/5): Home away from home - Loved the entire space. Such convenient location. Great to have pool, a number of bathrooms and the fireplace. Nothing.
- Flynn (8/5): -
- Lisa (9/5): Great stay, good spot and lovely place - Great size and layout, very comfortable, exactly what we needed
- Lynne (10/5): Excellent experience - Close to all amenities. Walked to racetrack, close to food outlets, and easy for uber pick ups A little noisy and the curtains were not dark enough in the morning :)
- Kelly (8/5): Really good house for group stays. Just be prepared to have more funds available on your credit card - Lovely house thank you, very nicely presented and great to have all the bathroom facilities. Did not like that there was a not insignificant sum debited from my credit card as a ‘hold’ after paying in full up front. I’m still unsure why this has to be debited ‘in case of damage’ when the provider already has my credit card details.
Also, only a very minor, but the recycling bin was completely full, and the upstairs bathroom blind is broken and won’t lower - so there wasn’t much privacy when showering as the window was clear glass. Might want to fix - many thanks.
- Aaron (10/5): -
- Garry (10/5): - Beautiful large spacious family home. Not enough plug sockets in bedrooms
- Christine (5/5): Loved the space. - The size of the property was great. We booked for 9 nights. We were aware the property was on a busy road but not that it was next door to a small set of shops who had deliveries during the night so sleep was interrupted. Also when booking a property with a fully equiped kitchen and for the price we were disappointed that the oven temperature settings were all over the place and there wasn’t enough cookware or storage containers. May seem like small things but important when on holiday with a family. Perfect for shorter stays and if not cooking.
- Kai (8/5): Very good -
- Lauren (8/5): Very good - Lots of space, great location
- Afzal (10/5): Exceptional - Very beautiful, comfy. Kids loved it. Very specious. Clean. Host helped with quiries always. Good location.

- Daniel (8/5): Very good -
- Tatum (9/5): Superb -
- Georgina (8/5): Great large home with alot of bathrooms and toilets - Alot of space. Lots of parking for a large group with multiple vehicles. Fire place was great to have that heat with the heat pump if we needed it also Spare blankets in the cupboards need to be washed
- Viliami (9/5): Good for group stays, room for everyone with a pool room to keep people occupied. Great backyard to catch some sun and w - Felt very homey, warm and pool room was great. .
- Khiu (9/5): Superb -
- David (10/5): We absolutely loved our weekend, kids spent ages in the pool room and we had plenty of room to relax - The kettle in the kitchen wouldnt boil as the on / off switch kept lifting up.
- Sarah (9/5): Heaps of room, great for bigger groups to stay - Heaps of space for everyone and great
selection of beds to choose from, super easy to check in and our, great stay. Loved the fire. Would 100% book again. The loo downstairs doesn't have frosting on the window which makes it a little uncomfortable to use when downstairs as you can clearly see out and in.
- Martin (7/5): Great family or Group space - It was a great place to catch up with family, plenty of space, the pool room was a great break out space.
Highly recommend space for a group or family, also it was great to have close shops that uou could walk to along with the Sunday market. Dealing with trying to get the deposit sorted was a sarga, that could have easily been sorted if they picked up the phone rather than emailing back and forth while traveling.
Also the heating was not sufficient for the cold evening's, and thebottom toilet had an issue draining away.
- Nicky (10/5): Very comfortable stay. - Great location
Plenty of room
Great services next door … restaurants bakery bottle A bit open with no gate … busy road
Wheelie yellow bin full and all 4 bins very dirty. One had no wheels
- Rebecca (9/5): Superb - Great base, with plenty of space for the group.
- Mike (8/5): Enjoyed our stay - the space Wish the pool was functioning
- Henry (9/5): Great stay. Will book again next year. -
- Rochelle (10/5): Absolutely brilliant property and I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again!! - *Firstly the location … accessibility to local facilities (Food … Indian, Thai, Fish’n’chips, Bakery … RIGHT NEXT DOOR!!!
*Spaciousness … lots of room for all to stay, lounge around and dine together, not to mention playing pool together!!
*Close to airport, markets, town … couldn’t ask for a better property to stay! *The in-your-face, privacy intrusive camera RIGHT at your eye level, RIGHT THERE at the back door. Put it up somewhere where you can still utilise it for the purpose you intended, I felt like you were watching us the whole time.
*The extra people coming to stay had to pay a minimum of two nights when they’d only intended on staying one night. This was AFTER the original group had already paid for three nights … they should have been counted as part of the minimum of two nights … I thought this cost was excessive!!
- Katrina (8/5): Very spacious home that met our needs. - Great having shops right next door. Close to the Airport and not far from the venue we spent most of our time at. More firewood being available
- Susan (8/5): Great -
- Wai (8/5): Nice stay in general. Excellent place for travel group. - Some portions are a bit too old. We want it to be more modernized.
- Geoff (10/5): Exceptional -
- Klarnette (10/5): Exceptional - There are plenty of rooms for big family.
- Atileti (10/5): was very comfortable - Big, spacious and clean. That it has cameras. I felt that my privacy was invaded.
- Anna (8/5): Charming Christchurch Villa - The size of the house was magnificent. Full proper rooms which all connected yet gave space and separation. The fireplace and heating were so appreciated as it was freezing for 1 day. Big back yard (shame pool is gone). Games room. Bunk beds were great for kids too. Having so many bedrooms made it easy for our family. Lots of bathrooms too. Great water pressure in 2 of the bathrooms 👍
Great to have available: wifi / netflix / YouTube Not much to say here...
- Hayley (9/5): wonderful stay in great location, easy commute and good facilities close by. - size and quality of finishing, location nothing
- Elly (9/5): Very easy to book, quick response from rental office, close to airport. - booking.com not enough towels - need trash can in bathroom
- Mihi (10/5): Great for large families - Catered for our large family There was nothing I did not like
- Jingjing (3/5): uncomfortable feeling - location is om service need to improve, extra charge after we leaving
- Indira (10/5): Loved it. Would return - Easy & convenient. The whole place was perfect! Much more than I’d expected!
- Codie (10/5): Racecourse review - Beautiful house and very tidy. Plenty of room for everyone. Location. It's a little bit far out of the city center. But that is not something that can be helped
- Jade (8/5): Very good -
- Kristelle (7/5): Good -
- Jay (9/5): Great work trip with the ability to socialize - Super easy to access the villa
- Karen (8/5): Great place that would get top marks if the showers were better - Really good location, great lounge/dining/kitchen and loads of space The showers were terrible in the ensuite rooms. Really bad water pressure and temp was consistent…too hot then too cold!
- Ronnie (10/5): Spacious lovely home - Great place to stay with everything you could possibly need. I would definitely stay here again. Comfy beds and overall much better than the photos.
