- Eike Jörn (9/5): Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für Wintersport, Skifahren, Skiwandern oder Rodeln etc. in der Wildschönau - Der Service vom gesamten Personal; hier wird der Gast/Kunde gern gesehen und auch betreut. Ausgezeichnetes Essen, sehr gute Küche mit professionellen Service, egal ob ala Card oder in Halbpension. Die Zufahrt ist etwas irreführend, da es den Fronteingang von der Hauptstraße gibt sowie um den Block herum auch eine Zufahr zum "Hintereingang", insbesondere für das Ausladen der Skisachen etc.

Wellnessbereich mit 2 Saunen , Dampfbad und Infrarot komfortabel. Essen sehr lecker. Das Skigebiet in Niederau ist recht klein , wir sind ca20 Minuten nach Auffach gefahren . Die Verbindung ist etwas mühsam und die Pisten doch für weniger geübte Fahrer doch recht anspruchsvoll.

- Nicole (10/5): Alle perfekt - Ein wunderschönes Hotel mit gutem Essen. Familiär geführt, sehr aufmerksam, und toller Service. Es gibt eine Bar um abends noch zusammen etwas zu trinken und im Keller Dart Spiel und billiard Tisch. Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet und die Betten sehr bequem. Die Lage ist auch sehr gut für Unternehmungen in der Region.

- Florian (6/5): Fazit nie wieder. - Freundliches Personal und sehr zuvorkommend. Auch das Frühstück war durchaus ansprechend. Für über 100€ die Nacht in der Nebensaison würde ich zumindest ein "etwas" größeres Zimmer wünschen. Das Zimmer war etwa 8m2 groß +enges Badezimmer. Was mir aber noch relativ egal gewesen wäre. Was der absolute Wahnsinn gewesen ist war das Bett, nein in Wirklichkeit war es eine Schlafcouch und die "sagen wir mal Matratze oder da wo man liegen sollte" war mehr als durchgelegen. Kreuzweh inklusive! Wenn mich in der Früh wer gefragt hätte ob alles gepasst hat wie es eigentlich in "95%" der Fällen gewesen wäre hätte ich dies auch erwähnt und müsste nicht diese Bewertung schreiben. Man hätte sich vermutlich irgendwie geeiningt.

We used the restaurant for dinner and found that to be very good too. Excellent choice for breakfast Slightly awkward when you are not on the half board basis as it is a bit unclear where you should sit for breakfast if a coach party is in residence.

Staff are lovely and evening meals are good value for money. We have stayed there twice now and are planning to stay again at Christmas 2025.

Så fin morgenmad. Maden var lækker og der var præcis det, der skulle være. Fin og venlig betjening. Vi spiste aftensmad 2 gange og det var lækkert hjemmelavet mad Fantastiske gåture i området ☀️ Kommer gerne igen 😀 Kommer

- Ivona (8/5): - It's a charming hotel in an equally charming ski village. We traveled off season so it was very quiet. We had the Snow White room which we were very happy with. It was spacious and comfortable. We were traveling with our 2 dogs, and the staff were very accommodating. We ate at the hotel because it was convenient for us. The breakfast buffet was typical Austrian style with many items. Supper menu was a bit limited due to low season, but we always found tasty options. Too bad our weather was too chilly for us to enjoy the lovely outdoor patios. I would gladly return!

- Jan (10/5): Exceptional - Great food and service at this family run hotel. Authentic Austrian homemade cuisine, the owner, Christian, is also the cook and makes a perfect Kaiserschmarrn. Clean, comfortable, modern rooms. Great entertainment with live music in the hotel bar at night. Central location in Niederau. Hiking/biking trails and lifts easily reachable by foot. A big thank you to the hosts and owners, Christian and his son Dominik, for an incredible stay! We will be back!
- Lisa (9/5): Would definitely stay at the Schneeberger again! - The hotel was pristine--super clean. The rooms were large and very comfortably appointed with wonderful balconies and amazing views of the gorgeous surrounding landscape. The breakfast buffet had a nice array of breads, cereals, nuts, jam, scrambled and boiled eggs, plus sliced meats. And the coffee was excellent! Niederau is a small village with several hotels but not much else. It appeared that nearly every hotel has its own restaurant so finding food in town wasn't a problem. We went for the Almatreib in Auffauch which was about a 10 minute drive from the hotel. It's a beautiful little town to relax and enjoy the lovely views. Simply put, the hotel was short-staffed staffed during our stay and that showed up in a number of ways. Hopefully, this was an anomaly as it did cause some lengthy wait times for dinner service and checking out the next day. Even so, I would still highly recommend the hotel and give them the benefit of the doubt that things typically run smoother.

- Cheryl (9/5): Superb - Wonderful family run hotel. Rooms were a really good size and spotless, staff were excellent, great facilities in the hotel and a good choice of menu in the restaurant. We used it as a base for skiing in the SkiWelt which meant 15/20 minute drive each day to the lifts at Hopfgarten and Brixental. Would happily stay here again!

I felt particularly treated nice by the staff even though I was there for the first time and only one night. I felt the value of our money was very appropriate. If I had stayed more time there I would’ve just walked up to the skiing. I got what I wanted
