The outdoor retreats in the beautifully landscaped tropical garden are very pleasant. The pool area and the direct location on the river are further plus points. The air conditioning in public areas is set too high.

A lot of amenities and the restaurants were great with very tasty food and reasonable prices. The bed was not comfortable at all. The front-desk staff are kind and helpful and the responses to changes, requests and questions through the booking.com app were prompt, polite and lively as during previous stays at Farmington. Airport pick-up and drop off were simple and good as usual.

We enjoyed the food, drinks, and seem natural lighting. The seating arrangement is good. I highly appreciate that Liberian dish was served. Have a list of all local and international TV channels available at the Hotel to make it easy for customer to choose their prefer channel. Also list emergency: security/police, hospitals, fire contacts incase of an emergency. Listing contacts of reliable and secure means of transportation to part of the city will be of great help to customers.

Staff was incredibly helpful and kind. The ONLY points of improvement: floors in the room could have been a bit more clean. The bathroom was also missing some of the amenities (shampoo, shower soap). I travel with my own so it wasn’t a problem, but may be for others. But otherwise, truly thrilled with this stay and happy to make the Farmington my base for work while in Liberia.

Icao (7/5): Option near the ROB airport - The hotel is located right in front of the ROB Airport. I arrived quite late in the airport and a hotel staff was in front of the arrival gate to pick up the guests. Then we were driven to the hotel. In the departure day I walked 5 minutes to the ROB airport, as no van was available, but it was fine. The breakfast is quite unusual for an european. There is no such a variety as I imagined, considering the price of the overnight. The room I got was in need of some renovation, especially in the bathroom.

Too much Mosquitoes at the Lobby/Reception. Staff claim its because of the river at the back of the hotel, but I am from Lagos where we have many hotels overlooking the water, so I found that excuse implausible. They need to learn to fumigate properly. It would have been nice if there is some sort of rug on the floor surrounding the bed in the room. The early check-in rate of $95 extra is a bit Steep.

Dan (9/5): An excellent place to spend quality time, and leave refereshed - The manager was particularly friendly and helpful. All the staff are very professional and cordial. It was great to see the restaurant staff smiling at 5am, and the chef makes some really good omelets I filled out a card asking for a wakeup call at 4:30 a.m., but I didn't get a call. It's a good thing I was already up by that time. It must have been an oversight on the part of the staff on duty. I recommend steps be taken to ensure that no wake call requests are overlooked in the future, as that could lead to a guest missing his or her flight.

Eddy (8/5): Good hotel but surprising 10% surcharge - I had to be at thairport at 5h30 AM and they served breakfast from 5 AM and took me to the airport on time.. Booking announced a price of $189 including taxes, but they still added a 10% surcharge it came to $207.

Gillian (4/5): We survived, but will try to avoid staying again. - Breakfast was great. Staff were friendly and prompt. Facilities NOT worth $275 a night: shower head attachments broken and shower drain completely stopped up. Maintanence showed up quickly and fixed the shower attachments but only managed to get the drain marginally open. Very disappointing at that price. Shower wall quite dirty as well. Facilities upkeep and cleanliness.

John (7/5): Good hotel, obnoxious staff. - Staff were rude. Got given a menu when sat down, and no one came for 45 mins. Caught the attention of waitress and asked to order food, she didn’t acknowledge me, but just shouted to a colleague to serve. Waited another 10 minutes and approached the bar to ask if we can order at the bar. She looked at me angrily and said in a loud voice that she told me before someone would be over. Don’t really expect to be spoken or treated like that, so will be relaying my experience on TripAdviser. Otherwise quite a nice experience Staff were rude.
