• Abercrombie (5/5): Served its purpose - Internet worked. Price was very budget friendly. Place was clean but bordered on shabby. Location near Toji temple made for easy tourist activities-access to train, Buddhist ceremony etc. Stuff to do at odd hours due to jet lag. Toilet did not work well. No windows. Loud trucks on nearby roadway. Poorly functioning aircon

• Josefa (8/5): Stay Sakura Kyoto Toji South II - I like the facilities inside and the guest service centre offered to bring the luggage to put inside the room , so we can walk around Kyoto. And there's a family mart near the place, it's only 9 minutes walk. The bedroom is too small for 4 people, its not comfortable.

Pick up the keys, sign forms in their office very near in Kyoto station and accommodation is in another place (2km away). We didn't know that when we booked the place. Apart from that place is good.

• Swathi (9/5): - It is situated in a peaceful location and very close to bus and tram stations. The beds were comfy and the bathroom spacious. The room was also spacious enough for 2 adults and 1 child. They even cleaned the place twice during our stay. The staff were also friendly and prompt and even offered to bring our luggage to our rooms. I would come back here to stay! Nothing to say here!! We liked our stay here.

• Kieran (6/5): Pleasant - The apartment was a real treat, could have moved in and stayed for months, right near Toji temple. It was quite a walk from the head office near Kyoto Station, it would have been more appropriate to meet staff at the property or be given access online. But they need to collect Kyoto hotel tax in person.

You have a kitchen and confortable beds, the bathroom is nice and clean, dining table and you could cook you breakfast if you want. People is very nice and welcoming. The place is near the Toji temple but it is 20 to 20 min walk from the check in center (I think you have a closer option if you arrive before 4 pm)

Location was ok. 30 minute walk to Kyoto station, to get to the busier Northern side of the station. Not too many food and shopping options within the surrounding area.

• Man (8/5): The stay is nice other than it is a bit far away. - Room was spacious and in good condition. Supplies were good, from toothbrushes to laundry detergents. Washing machine is a good feature for long stay. It was good they put English translation on most of the devices and switches. Overall it is very nice place to stay. Double bed was a bit small. We could not get the clothes drying room to work. Stairs were steep and it was hard to get large luggage downstairs. It was quite far away to get to its service centre or station. It would be nice if they could deliver our luggage (or even us) back to service centre as we did not know how to get a cab. They did a good job to send our luggages to the place on arrival.

Near convenient store, supermarket etc. Noise from upstairs and street. (At least I didn't hear voice from upstairs)

• Amanda (10/5): Great value for money - The room was clean and comfortable. It was actually the biggest room we've had in our trip so far. The luggage delivery service was a lifesaver and the room was cleaned during our stay (in contrast to some of our other hotels which were unmanned). There's also a tourist attraction (Toji Temple) very close by. It's a little bit out of the way but this is something we knew when we booked. Just wish there was a dish drying rack and more mugs (we only had 3 for 4 people) but again these are very minor things.

Excelent location and the staff members great, except one person who treated me in a bad way regarding an inconvenient. Besides that, other member solved my inconvenient perfectly and everything else was excelent. I highly recommend this place. Thank you so much for everything. I will definitely come back.
• Akshay (7/5): Good - Clean , well maintained property. The property is located on a busy main road , you can hear vehicles noise coming off whole night . If you are a light sleeper you will feel trouble falling asleep .

• Arno (8/5): Nice and clean location😃 - Good luggage service and very friendly staff. Please realise that the location of the property is different than the office. Only down side is that you are next to a busy road.
• Eden (8/5): - Location was decent, with bus stop almost outside the front door, and grocery within 5 min walk. Having check-in location separate from hotel was odd, and we should've taken bus instead of walk towing luggage. Would've been nice to have more than 4-5 small plates and two pots with one cover, but we made do and bought paper plates/bowls from the grocery. Dryer function in shower didn't work well, had it run 10 hrs, but clothes still not dry - need to hang up high where the small amount of heat was. Overall decent stay.

The shower let you adjust to the exact temperature you wanted which I really liked. I would like to stay here again when I’m in the area. There was also a bonus tiny little balcony/space where you can go outside the window that wasn’t advertised but I thought it was really neat lol.

• Raihan (9/5): Convenient - Near one of the tourist spots in Kyoto, accessible by train, bus, taxi, even by foot. There are many convenience stores around, located by a big road but not noisy. The bed is not that really comfortable, but it's enough for the price.

• S. (8/5): Very good - The apartment had enough space for us, even to sit at a table together, it was super clean and the beds were comfortable. The shower was really nice, because there was a small bathtub available and you also could dry your clothes in the shower-room, after washing it in the washing-machine. The translations on some buttons were already falling of, but that was just a minor dislike. A bit weird was how high the shelfs in the kitchen area were, so that reaching the top shelf or things that stood more in the back was quite hard.

• Anne (5/5): Great place. Hard to find checkin. - The room is spacious. A lot of thought went into translating directions to everything in the room. The rooms are clean. The washer and dryer room are really nice to have. The mattresses are comfortable. There are a lot of amenities: a cost rack, two tables, four chairs. Kitchen area, ample space. The staff were polite and helpful. The price is perfect. We got to the property and happened to meet someone there who said the room wasn't ready and we had to travel elsewhere to check in. Thankfully we were able to hand him our luggage so didn't have to drag it with us. We walk to some nebulous place down back alley ways for which we didn't have an address but we're able to pinpoint it on Google maps. The woman was helpful and tried to call a taxi. When that failed she walked us to the bus stop. They said to come back two hours after our confirmed checkin and we had a frustrating time trying to use the automatic door code. It kept on wanting a card. We tried calling the place and no answer. Thankfully we were finally able to make it work. They did respond to my text an hour later. Be aware you have to checkin elsewhere and that was not conveyed to us. The room itself was great. One critique about the layout: the one desk is positioned right in front of the bathroom door and the electrical outlet not so conveniently located. The final thing is it's hard to get a taxi from the place. We'll navigate that obstacle today. The bus doesn't allow luggage.

• Mohit (8/5): Very good - The property was big, in fact the biggest I saw during my stay in Japan. The facilities were great and very comfortable. The location of the property is somewhat tricky especially if you are carrying luggage and with kids. Though there are buses running which can take you to Kyoto Station. Also they stopped their free shuttle from the station to the respective residences after 4 PM which was a disappointment.

• LDR (10/5): - Location near the heart of Kyoto, good property suitable for family vacation - although check-in could be more streamlined with transport from check-in house to property catered on demand.
• Jonas (6/5): Not a great stay - Nice with laundry and free coffee, but we had problem from the beginning with the staff not finding our booking even though we showed conversation and booking confirmation and said that it didn't exist. After around 5 minutes of asking if we really had paid she went to her colleague that could find it. When we got to the apartment it was on the first floor, but very cosy layout. The problem was that it was next to a big street and every morning at 7 am by some announcement. We also had people staying over with kids that ran around till midnight and then was up from 6am running around. My worst experience staying somewhere except when I had ants in my apartment. Wouldn't recommend this place if you want any sleep.

Men bygget var helt uten utsikt (var kun begrenset utsikt fra do) ellers var det 15-30cm fra vinduene våre til murvegger. Ingen rømningsvei uten hovedinngangen som var en smal og bratt trapp. Innsjekking var grei, men var ikke ved leiligheten. Endel trafikkstøy, spesielt i helgen, da var det som å sove på gata. Ingen butikker i nærheten, matbutikk 900m fra leiligheten, men buss og taxi fungerte greit.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - The property is excellent as described. Please remember to check in near the Kyoto Train Station to pick up room key. We made a mistake of getting to the property first.
• 보미 (10/5): 2층. 관절팔팔하면 적극추천 - 체크인시간보다 빨리 갔으나 바로 체크인 완료됐다. 한국어 담당 직원이 없다는 게 조금 아쉬웠음. 이틀동안 있으면서 방이 크고 널널해서 계획이 틀어질 정도로 침대에서 오래 자버림. 다들 거리가 조금 있어서 버스로 많이 다녔었움...버스1일권 끊는 것을 추천. 토지에서 아침 벼룩시장을 볼 계획이라면 강추.
• JIMIN (8/5): 친구랑 여행 - 숙소 자체는 아주 만점. 매우 아늑하고 정말 편안하고 좋았습니다. 접근성이 떨어지는 게 가장 아쉬워요. 하지만 살고 싶을만큼 좋은 별장느낌입니다.
