• Sally Hunt (8/5): Great option for staying in Red Lake - Location was excellent. Had dinner at the motel restaurant which was very tasty and reasonably priced. Handy to have a restaurant right there. In the morning I needed milk for my coffee and the restaurant provided it at no cost. Bed was comfortable. Blackout curtains good. Staff very friendly. What could have been better had nothing to do with the motel. I have an electric vehicle and the only EV charger in town did not work. It would be great if the motel had a Level II charger, but that's not something very many motel/hotels do. The only other thing was my fault. Somehow I reserved two rooms. I have no idea how I did it. Because I had booked through booking.com, the motel said that it could not correct the mistake.

The staff didn’t seem interested in resolving the issue. No other rooms were available to change to. Carpeting is old and needs to be replaced. Pretty gross.

Staff were excellent. We did not like the extra tax (municipal) that was added when we arrived. We don't mind paying the tax, but we would prefer to have it included in the price when we are looking at the motel under booking.com.

Not a very big issue but during my stay there was a problem with keys and I had to go to staff to ask to let me into my room. A bit of inconvenience but everything else was really good.

• Ian (4/5): - Do not stay at this property if you have to have a lower level room. The uncontrolled disruptive nature of the guests above and the inability of the management to control disruptive behaviour absolutely ruined my stay at this place. I will sleep in the back of my truck rather than subject myself to the torture of the relentless stomping of feet across the ceiling for over 6 hours (yes, I timed it) and the crashing and banging of what sounded like the refrigerator being repeatedly overturned to the point of dust falling out of the potlights in the ceiling above me. The restauraunt was kind of "old school" with not being able to order "dinner" until after 5:00pm. For a mining town and fly-out-fishing hub I find that kind of regimented eat now or don't eat policy outdated. In 2023 the world does not live and breathe 9-5. Staff was great and very pleasant, and despite having to order lunch the meal was very good.
