- Gary (8/5): Nice and comfortable - Easy to get to. The bed was comfortable. A friendly staff. A little noisy because it is older and no very sound proof between rooms.
- Wise (7/5): It was fine besides the points mentioned above. I'd stay here again. - Safety locks or chains on the rooms down stairs. I felt a bit unsafe considering the building is unlocked and anyone can come in. Adding a bit more security would help on that shared bathroom floor. The tv didn't work in my room because the remote wasn't working. Lastly, the coffee situation upstairs was ridiculous. Why make it so hard for a person to make coffee if your staff isn't there until later?

- Andrew (8/5): A great value. - Old school with door keys, beautiful wood paneling, and a comfortable bed. The mini fridge was too noisy to use.
- Jerry (8/5): Great stay, quaint, friendly and unique. - Ver clean with friendly staff. Love the ongoing renovation and overall concept of the place. The only issues were that we couldn’t get a main floor room so the stairs were a little tricky. Ice and water machine were not working, and perhaps a bigger coffee pot. We realize the Reno’s are ongoing and will try to return to see the finished result.

- Mason (7/5): Minimal cost - minimal services - no breakfast - only nearby cafe opened at 7 AM, Rooms were very small - as in half sized sinks and no room to move in bathroom. Right next to main road made for some noise and a train rolling thru didnt help, however, the room was inexpensive and clean. So you get what you pay for.

- Lisa (7/5): Small. Updated and clean. Very affordable. - The room was remodeled and had a motion-sensor heating system. It was quiet and functional. Small, but nice. It would have been nice to have a fold out table. The microwave glass was falling out. The beds were a bit hard, but clean.
- Harker (10/5): Stay as a family of 4 every year near Christmas and go to Lava Hot Springs. - I love this place. Small. Very old school feel. They are getting updated at this time. I hope they are going to remain with the warm cabin comfortable feeling.

- Susan (8/5): Thoroughly enjoyed it! - Very clean. Quaint in a sweet way. Great location. Pet friendly. Only downside was lack of quiet. Not terrible, but obviously an older building from a time when quiet wasn't a concern.

- Ruthild (8/5): Very good - The room was small but had a fridge, microwave, and TV. We were able to park directly in front of our room. The walls are thin, so we could hear people walking in the hallway and upstairs.

- Shanna (2/5): Keep driving and find somewhere else to stay. It wasn’t worth what we paid for it. - It was clean. The front desk attendant was very helpful and accommodating. The bed was horrible. It was like sleeping on a bag of potato chips. It was noisy and uncomfortable. The walls were so thin we could hear our neighbor snoring all night. The tub was very slick. I fell while using the shower because I slipped on the floor of the tub.

It was a shared bathroom it was clean but can you imagine waking up putting on clothes and shoes just to get up to a shared bathroom. Overall the stay was ok housekeeping was everyday but read before you book

- Smith (3/5): Would have been fine if there was any soundproofing. - The girl working the front desk was very nice, the room was in fine condition when we got in. The walls are paper thin. There were rooms above, below and on either side of ours, and we could hear movement from each one. We were woken up at 1 AM by people in the room right next to us blasting criminal minds and engaging in intimate affairs. At least they would have been intimate if there was insulation. We booked for two nights but drove 3+ hours home to avoid staying a second night.

Had to shut the bathroom door and could still hear it running. Complained the next morning the girl there said it should’ve been fixed the day before and she was sorry. Then my friends bed had sand in it, which showed maybe the sheets weren’t changed from the prior person. 😳

Looks like they wer - It was a throw back to the 1950’s with heavy pine panelling and real keys. The staff was young, attentive and friendly. Walls were so thin, i could hear the guy snoring in the next room. No place to hang clothes. No coffee pot in the room.
- Tammy (9/5): A cute, quaint little place. - We stopped by Soda Springs for just one night and the accommodations at the Caribou lodge were just what we needed. The room had a microwave and a refrigerator and the staff was so kind. We also loved the idea that we could enter our room from the outside as well as the inside. If i had to say anything negative about this place, it would be that the lobby was under construction and it wasn't pleasing to the eye nor could you use the couches to relax.

Let us play cards in the lobby, gave great tip on where to eat at Porters Bar. Bed was very comfortable. Rooms were a little small and needed a couple more outlets for charging headsets, phones, ipad, etc.

The property has a lot of construction workers staying there and they are storing materials it looks like. Old , gross and needs to be avoided. It sucks and it’s gross the staff are also rude

Also they were also accommodating for out time of arrival and the room was clean. Would like to have had a little more counter space or table room. But we appreciate the fact that they were renovating.
- James (1/5): Left within an hour of check in, would not recommend for a family. - The staff was nice, and the price for the room was great for an emergency “need a place to rest” stay. The bathroom and floors inside appeared new. Along with the windows. The room smelled off, kinda like pee, the screen door wouldn’t close and the frame of it appeared to have been ripped out of the main door frame, it kept banging in the wind and wasn’t secure. The door appeared to have been opened with a pry bar at the lock and door handle with wood still missing. The one main window was stuck shut and required some strong handling to open so we could air out the room. My wife was approached by a drunk/high(talking to no one as he walked and then saw her and turned straight towards her) individual who stopped midway once he saw me and turned abruptly and walked away without a word to sit on the stoop of the guest next to us while he watched her and our stuff. We had some issues with our camper that needed fixed and our family(kids included) needed a place for the night while I fixed some things. We had been traveling all day and needed a place for the night so the kids could move around and then relax from the long ride. The place felt off and the people outside eyeing our camper, the motorcycles in the back of the truck, and my wife just made us feel unsafe, even with things locked up. People outside appeared drunk and we did not feel safe having our stuff left out and for our kids to play outside. Grounds was littered with cigarettes. We left within an hour and didn’t even ask for a refund. For someone who needs a place to crash, is a guy, and doesn’t have things of value in eyesight, maybe this would be good for them. It wasn’t worth the risk for us however.
- James (5/5): Not very comfortable or enjoyable stay in this motel. - The price was low but you get what you pay for. A chair in the room to set on besides the bed. The TV was lacking. The internet was not functioning very well the second day. I asked the night person TESS what was up and her answer was their is a storm coming so it wasn't working very well. I asked her to contact someone who could help her figure it out. It was 70 degrees and sunny no clouds but it did rain three hours later. But she just got mad and called no one like her manger to fix the problem. Many people were complaining about the internet that was never fixed that night. Its along night in a small motel room when you computer nor your TV works.

They even had a wine opener they let us use when we forgot ours. Will definitely be staying again when we head that way.
