- Anna-Mariia (10/5): Cozy cabins for a perfect winter getaway - Close to Manning, pool was completely empty, cabin is cozy and clean.
- Luiza (10/5): A perfect place to ☺️ relax!!!! - Everything!
- Jacobus (10/5): - It was a cozy cabin in the snow
- Haley (10/5): - Great space to relax and act as a base camp for hiking in Manning!
- pamela (10/5): Would go back 😎😎 - Feel of camping but all the comforts of home . Spectacular views and serene water views and beautiful peaceful places to chill . At night the stars were out , and it was so quiet. Slept like a log . My friend’s bed was very noisy for some reason, that made her quality of sleep, uncomfortable 😳. We did let them know at check out and Im sure they will take care of it .
- Nadine (10/5): - I've come up here every year for the past few years. The cabins are great. Full size kitchen.Lots of room for cooking or prepping off ur food for the bbq.
This is just a great little area for off roading. Drive a little further up do the Othello Tunnels even go Manning Park. Or just hang out there and go for a swim in the pool. Its just such a great place!
- BARBARA (8/5): - Grocery store was sparce. Make sure you bring your own food. Kitchens were well equipped. Nice property.
- Brad (8/5): - We liked how clean the cabin was. It was so quiet and peaceful. The views were amazing.
- Keith (10/5): Exceptional - We had a great experience with our stay at Sunshine Valley. Staff were awesome to deal with, accommodations were clean and comfortable. The location was breathtaking. Conveniently Located close to a major highway, with the camplng sites gor tents, rvs and cabins, store for purchase of essential items, indoor/ outdoor pools, gym equipment room and great area for outdoor walking. Iwould recommend Sunshine Valley RV and Resort to anyone.
- Christine (10/5): - Overall experience was great. Clean rooms, nice staff, pool, hot tub. Great weekend.

- Leigh (10/5): Great getaway - This property was well maintained. Cabin was large and well equipped. The pool area was very nice especially on a hot day.
The bed was a bit wobbly and older but not horrible. Everything was very clean.
Great getaway.
Laundry room was very nice surprise. The bed was wobbly and older.
General store was closed early 4-5. Needed change for laundry but no luck. Possibly open later in summer months but not sure.
- Vik (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ak (10/5): - Great place for family.
- James (10/5): - Great staff
- Hans (4/5): Stay away if you’re not an avid ATV rider - Cute cabin Too many ATV’s!
No one enforced the rule against driving around the camping, so kids zoomed about. If we sat on our porch clouds of dust and exhaust made us go back in. Even inside it was noisy from the ATV engines.
There was a burn ban but our neighbors had a campfire every night.
We would not return
- Candice (8/5): Beautiful family getaway - Staff are kind and location is stunning. Fans in the cabin and screens on the windows
- Oleksii (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tamara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Desiree (10/5): Exceptional - Convenient location especially if your ripping around on toys for your stay.
Amazing staff !!!!!!
Great options for kids that get "bored"
Little rock beach and mellow water,
Playground/Playset
Good collection of DVD's to browse through , if you bring your own player or gaming console . Indoor pool could go up a bit in temperature for sure !
No where to store your belongings inside or outside for pools
Cabin showers have veeeery low pressure. Takes alot longer to wash products out of hair .
- Thomas (10/5): - Our cabin was very comfortable and the incredible beauty of nature was all around for us to explore. After a day of kayaking and hiking, the indoor hot tub was luxurious and because I enjoy lifting weights at home I liked the fitthefitness room!the fitness
- Olivia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Corrie (9/5): Superb - Beautiful cabin and surrounded by amazing mountains!
- Vik (8/5): Very good -
- Kari (10/5): - Communication with the front office was excellent. Cabin was ready early. Bring extra cutlery. The mattresses are firm, the pullout needs a new mattress in cabin 6.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tumakova (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathryn (8/5): Very good - Beautiful space, very relaxing, great price point. Mattresses om bed are super old, felt like you were sleeping on the floor. Pull our couch my son was on, said he felt all the springs and just folded couch back up and had to sleep like that remainder of our trip.
- Christine (7/5): Good - Great location, comfortable stay, helpful staff You need to bring kurig coffee pods! I brought coffee think a coffee maker would be there! and it wasn’t the cleanest. Also asking guests to hand wash dishes and relying on previous guests to have done a thorough clean is gross. They should be taken and placed in a hot dishwasher and returned to cabin.
- Sheila (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cameron (7/5): Good -
- Rong (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tara (8/5): Very good - Resort was great . Cabins were great size and clean . Location was nice by the river Unfortunately the septic tank smell was extremely strong by our cabins . We couldn’t even sleep with our windows open . Other than that it was great
- Sheila (9/5): Had a lovely family vacation at the resort! - loved all that was offered at the resort we found the beds to be a little uncomfortable
- Nadine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Colleen (8/5): Very good -
- Soyeoun (10/5): I would come back here again. - I love the mountain view.
- Edward (8/5): Very good - Fireplace
Well equipped kitchen
Bedrooms look new and clean
Close to Manning park Sofas look too old
Kitchen supplies look old
- Kathy (10/5): - Beautiful and well-kept cabins. They are very clean. We stayed in the winter so it was very quiet and cozy. It was lovely to watch the snow fall from inside our warm cabin heated by our wood-burning stove. The staff were also very kind and responded to our messages in a reasonable time. We will definitely visit again.
- Bill G. (10/5): Overall a good experiance - Friendly staff.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - All very good!
- Kai (10/5): - nice and clean cabin. staff are pretty friendly and we all enjoyed indoor pool and hot tub. We would recommend this property to friends and family.
- JuiceBox (10/5): - The 2-bdrm cabin is perfect for our group of six with one of us sleeping on the sofa. Easy check-in at the retail store front desk. The cabin has everything needed for cooking simple meals. It’s a 15-min drive from the closest town to get supplies or to dine out. We stayed here to go skiing at the nearby ski hill (45 minutes away) and this cabin serves the purpose.
- Julie (10/5): Solo city girl getaway - I had an amazing solo stay at Sunshine Valley. Joanne was so friendly and helpful! It was private and quiet, the indoor pool and hot tub was a treat! I had a roaring fire for hours and nice quiet dinner in the cabin. I would definitely recommend and I would love to stay again! Thank you!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It’s amazing place clean very relaxing I would highly recommmend it and we will come again
- Jennifer (10/5): Family cabin trip - Our family trip was great. The resort has everything you could ever need. The 2 pools and 2 hot tubs are very clean and refreshing. The cabin has all you need for your stay and was in amazing condition. The little store at the resort has a great variety of so many things to buy. They also have great cappuccino. The staff are friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying again
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonderful little gem of a cabin right in the woods. Couldn’t believe how well kept the property was. It literally has EVERYTHING you could ever need. Kids loved the bunk beds. Great memories made.
- Chris (8/5): - location was great for tripping out around the area and the local small store helped for bread and milk!
- Robertward (10/5): - Had pet room so carpet was quite stained from previous guests. But best bed have ever slept in and service excellent
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Hayley met us at reception and was most helpful throughout our short visit. Thank you Hayley. Cabins were rustic, located in beautiful Sunshine Valley. Limited shopping on site, bring your own food. Nearest restaurant in Hope, 15 mins drive.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Its such a family oriented place . Kids have tons of things to do so there are not bored . Parent can relax . Very clean beautiful place. For sure coming back !!!
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Cabin was great and kitchen was well equipped.
No cable tv and only two device allowed to connect to a poor signal wifi.
Mattress was uncomfortable.
Location right on highway and takes away the remote location feeling you want when your in a cabin.
Not sure I would recommend and probably will not go back...
- Evan (10/5): Great spot outside of Hope, BC - Great stay and the cabins are wonderful. No TV so bring some movies or a radio. Very nice indoor pool and hot tubs.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We love the Cabins here!
Pull out couch, wood fireplace, full kitchen (minus dishwasher) , DVD player, wifi (for only two devices), pool and hottub...we have 4 kids and we all fit comfortably in the two bedroom cabin.
- Sharon (10/5): Weekend getaway - The pictures for the cabins didnt do them just. Very cozy and clean with everything we needed for the weekend. The staff was friendly and helpful. Having a pool and hot tub were a great addition to our stay. My only complaint of our stay was the road infront ot our cabin was very icy and slippery to walk on. And we wished the pool and store remained open a little later. This is definitely a hidden gem. And only 40 minutes to Manning and 15 minutes to Hope
- Lee (10/5): - Cabins were super clean as was the pool. Loved the place and will go again. My only critique is we only got one bundle of fire wood for our 2 night stay and I feel at $200 a night we should get a bundle per night as a bundle is only good for one night. Outside of that I give it a 9.5 out of 10 and I am quite picky with accommodation.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was cabin in Rv Park very nice and clean I would recommend this place
- Jane G. (8/5): Great location, comfortable accommodation - The cabin was well-equipped except for a chopping board, which we sourced in Hope. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable. The best thing about it was its position, within easy reach of Hope for practical things and not too far from Manning Park, where there are wonderful trails. After a hard day's walking, time spent in the hot tub was wonderfully relaxing.
The lady in Reception was very welcoming and helpful, with a positive outlook and lovely smile.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Lovely cabin in the mountains - The cabins were very comfortable and homey- and located in a beautiful mountain setting. It had a fully equipped kitchen, and comfy beds. Very quiet no noise at night. Also had a lovely fireplace with wood provided.
Note there is a tv in the cabin but no cable in the valley as its remote. So you have to watch dvds! Management extremely friendly but note they are only around 9-5.
Would definitely go back. Great for friends and families.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Almost faultless - We were in cabin one. Immaculate, large cabin. Well maintained and clean. Comfortable bed. Pity we were only there for one night.
- Gilles (10/5): Excellent value - Perfect. Plain but clean and tidy and excellent value. A bit close to the Highway but not a real nuisance.
- Taylor (8/5): - Nice clean cabins! My kids could and literally do eat off the floor so that was nice! Had 2 washrooms and love the rustic look and feel but the matresses could have been more confortable. The pools were great!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Top - Top accommodatie met zeer aardig en behulpzaam personeel en top locatie!!
- Brandi (10/5): - This place is amazing!! The location the cabin the view, all of it!! Staff was always helpful and polite. The pools (yea that’s right I said poolS) are amazing!! Everything is clean and spacious. My one and only suggestion would be... and I hate that I have to put this. But all three of us said the same thing. The beds are awful!! Even just a mattress topper would help. They are really really hard!! Other then that, a huge Thank you. To all of the Sunshine Vally Staff. You guys rock!! We will definitely be seeing you again very soon!! ❤️
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice cabins but the site is right on the highway.
Expedia says cabins have barbecue but they don't.
Nice hot pool to relax.
They have ATV tracks but no rentals. You have to get your own ATV.
- A (10/5): - Beautiful place! Friendly people! Awesome time!
- Danisa (10/5): Lovely Family Vacation Spot! - We will definitely make at least 1 yearly trip to these cabins with or kids! They are huge! Kids have their own room, could easily sleep 3 kids in the bunk bed alone and fit 1 or 2 playpens in that same room if needed. They have TVs but no cable, so you need to bring a dvd if that's your plan. No phone signal, and only 2 devices can have wifi at a time. Which I consider a bonus, but some may not. Really lovely get away from everything spot. Only flaw for us with staying for more then 2 nights is no bathtub to bathe young children in.
- Verified traveler (10/5): A Great Spot - A nice cabin near open countryside. Great hiking near by. Spacious cabin with a full kitchen.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This cozy cabin was just the relaxing overnight stay we needed! The well laid out two bedroom cabin suited our family perfectly. The wood burning stove added to the cozy feeling and helped heat the cabin. The main bedroom mattress was a bit hard - our only complaint.
- James (8/5): Nice cabin minor issues - Really nice cabin all issues are very minor. Could use better glassware and cooking utensils. Only had wifi codes for 1 night of 2 night stay. Could use more pillows and better towels
- Love outdoors (10/5): Sooo much nicer than the website - We booked the cabins not sure what we'd be getting since the photos were nice, but not amazing. However, the cabins are truly gorgeous--only a few years old, fantastic condition, with a fireplace and everything you could want for a weekend away--dishes, appliances, lovely living room and porch. They even had a lovely spa and swimming pool. Loved it
- Leanna (10/5): Fantastic stay in the cabins - It was a great time, cabins are beautifully done. My only criticisms are that I wish they would have heated the floors (bring slippers) and has paper towel in the kitchen or napkins.
We will definitely be back!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great getaway that's still close - Cabin's were awesome, loved it there, only thing is we had to clean all the dishes after ourselves, does that mean that the last person cleaned them, and I'm trusting they did a good job? Besides that, it is as great, definately recommend
- JJ (10/5): A place to unplug - It was a perfect getaway for our family with 2 young children. Stargazing would be amazing here- too bad it was cloudy during our stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Quad from your cabin to the trails - Four of us went to Sunshine to rent a cabin so that we could quad the trails of sunshine valley.
The cabin itself was clean and it looks as though they had done some renovations to update. The one thing that was not really clean was the mirror in the dining room and I am a bit of a stickler about that.
It was fully stocked with everything you need for a getaway, but the store is equipped for snacks etc not feeding people. The town of Hope is only 20 mins away if you do run out of food and need to stock up.
We rented a 2 bdrm cabin which had nice sized rooms. The bunkbed in the one room has a queen on the bottom bunk. The upper a single. The 2nd bdrm a queen size bed and it's own half bath.
We went on Labour Day long weekend so the RV resort was full. People were very friendly. there is a pool indoors and one outdoors that had activities the 2 days we were there. There was a pool party and another big event. I really didnt pay much attention to those because they were family oriented and I did not want to be around kids...as much as I do love them.
The first day of quadding was okay, but it seemed we found many more trails on the 2nd day. I am the type of quadder that likes to go quadding on a trip all day (5-6 hrs). You probably won't find a trail that goes that long here but many smaller ones. Again, it is a great place for families to go with their kids if they want to take them quadding.
You can also drive your quad through the villiage. I'd go again for sure.
