• Kathleen (7/5): Authentic accommodation, well located, perhaps little uplift in some areas will make it even better. - Adele was a lovely host and made us feel so welcome. The apartment is certainly well lived in and has shown the years of wear and care. Location is good: close to buses & railway, and easily walkable to the centre. Supermarket is close too and the cooking facilities are more than adequate for light meals - a kettle would be a good idea for hot drinks. Liked the washing machine too. Bed linen had seen better days and was well worn. Lighting in the large main room might have been a little more generous. Water supply is a little erratic but this could be because of its top floor location.
• Hilary (9/5): Good location for sights and facilities - The host was in contact with us from when we arrived at the airport. We were able to tell her approximately how long it would take us to get to the property. There is no name on the or sign to the property on the footpath that leads to it, and there is no name or sign on the door to the property so we were a little confused.

• Alejandro Hernan (9/5): Muy conforme - Importante: la cama de dos plazas, muy cómoda para dormir. nuestra habitación además contaba con un espacio de cocina con heladera, horno eléctrico, lavarropas, vajilla y mesa con sillas que nos facilitó mucho la estadía, el baño completo también. Muy amable el personal. El lugar está muy cerca de la terminal y cerca también de rentas de motos y autos (para hacer la costa amalfitana) como de estaciones de servicio y locales para desayunar o comer.

• Kitty (8/5): - I liked that it wasn't far from the main street where all the restaurants were. It was also close to the train station. It had a kitchen so we could have our breakfast and store food and drink in the fridge. There was also a shopping centre around the corner to get your bits. Rooms were fine, and the beds were comfortable. You could turn on the heating in whatever room you wanted it on in. The shower wasn't great for the first two days but it got fixed and was fine after that.

No es grave pero se entiende que se escucha y se siente el tren que pasa cerca de la casa. Pero no lo hace algo para que no se pueda descansar.
• Eleanor (9/5): Lovely old apartment with fine views and friendly, helpful host - Well furnished with beautiful furniture - not a stick of IKEA to be seen. Excellent location, quiet and surrounded by gardens, but close to station. Good views of hills from roof top terrace, and the windows of the apartment. Greeted by our host on arrival who gave us good advice about where to go and a helpful map. There wasn't a smaller dish for heating food up in the oven. Our host would have willingly supplied one as she was very kind and attentive and lived close by but by the time we realised it was too late in the evening to bother her.

La estación dónde se compran los boletos de bus a la Costa Amalfitana y el tren está cerca y podíamos ir caminando desde el alojamiento, igual al centro de Sorrento. Volveríamos sin dudarlo.Silvina.

Host very helpful and lives in apartment below and is easily available for questions. Lighting in dining room and kitchen needs to be brighter. Had trouble seeing well. Also, round porthole windows in bathroom needs curtain. Note: this is a one bedroom with third guest on single bed in living/dining room. Beds worked out fine. And no elevator for disabled. Otherwise very good.

A couple of times I had issue with the key and they were straight away happy to sort it out. Only the shower for me, the curtain didn’t cover the whole area so the floor was a little wet, nothing another Matt wouldn’t sort though.

• Annemarie (1/5): would not recommend staying at this accommodation. has great potential due to location. - breakfast not included, location was difficult to find, liked the location but would not recommend this accommodation. accommodation was dated, all linen needed to be updated, mismatched towels, thin old bedlinen, one tea towel for 4 night stay. washing machine flooded first time we used it so couldnt use it for the rest of the stay. host did one load of washing for us on first day after cleaning up the water in the kitchen. no kettle or toaster, one wine glass.

• Robyn (8/5): We loved our time at the villa. It had a real Italian feel to it which we enjoyed. - The villa was very roomy and gave us a great Italian experience. The washing machine leaked. Kitchen tap dripped.
• Immogen (6/5): Overall good - The property was located in a great spot. Very convenient and a good walking distance into the city centre. Andrea was lovely and helped us throughout our trip. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest and the shower curtain was not effective. We had issues with ventilation in the bathroom.
• Andrea (10/5): Loved it and would return - We loved this accommodation, it was ideal after travelling for a week. Loved the balconies, tiled floors & the size of the apartment. Short walk to Supermarket and a little further to the Train Station and Town. Adele was very helpful and looked for us when we got lost and helped carry our luggage up the stairs. As previously mentioned near to the Train Line and tennis courts but added to atmosphere didnt bother us at all

• Chris (1/5): The worst end to our honeymoon. - Nothing The apartment was filthy. No oven working, very few kitchen utensils. One wine glass, no saucepans Coffee machine, was actually a single serving stove top coffee pot. Bed was broken. Entire apartment filthy. Cats roaming around. Cat food left lying around. Landlord lived upstairs, left their door open with TV on and very loud. Landlord refused to return our money. They tried to clean the apartment after we complained. Still filthy, shower head was blocked and made an awful squeeking noise, previous guests shower gels etc left lying in shower, shower curtain rail hanging off wall, lights not working, with live wires left bare. Landlord pretended they didn't know bed was broken. Whereas they had put new sheets on a bed with slats that were all entirely broken and lying on the floor. They had been " repaired" before with sellotape. The sellotape role was in the bedside drawer. We suspect the Landlords wife was suppressed by husband, she wanted to help us, but he would not let her.
• Vicky (7/5): Good - The location was excellent! It is walking distance to everything! Adele greeted us at the road and helped us get in. She was very helpful and pleasant. She gave us suggestions of places to go in the area, and helped with the ferry to Positano! She was wonderful! The space we were in was very nice with lots of light and very spacious! The apartment itself was beautiful and exceeded what I expected! The apartment needed to be cleaner. In the kitchen there was a damp dirty cloth on the window ledge. The balcony was very dirty. I needed to wash off the table and chairs before we could sit in them, and the floor had dirt and debri. The towel that was hanging in the bathroom was also questionable as to whether it was clean, and the upper part of the toilet behind the seat was dirty. All of our beds had small ants in them. The mattresses were in need of replacement as the one I slept in had a few springs you could feel through it, and the pillows were hard and lumpy. With a good cleaning and better mattresses, this place would be top-notch!

Sound of train startled us when we first heard it. It shook the windows and we weren’t quite sure what it was. Older kitchen and bathroom but functional. Could use a kettle for boiling water for tea. Enjoyed our stay! Great location. Sound of train. But you get used to it. It stops at 11pm. Could use bedside lamps.

• Karen (7/5): Great location - Fantastic location (8min from the train station, 3 min from a large supermarket and laundromat, 12 min from the centre of town) up an alleyway with no stairs to get to the property , great aircon and Adele was lovely. We mainly used it as a base and were rarely home. Cleanliness could be improved e.g instead of shower mats, provide bath mat towels which could be hung up after each shower. Also shower sprayed water everywhere due to having a shower curtain. Also unnecessary furniture made it feel crowded.

• Leslie (10/5): I enjoyed my short interactions with my host, and I wish I had stayed for coffee – – even though it would keep me awake. - It was a very spacious room, with the kitchen and bathroom – – everything that I needed. It was a nice walk into town, not too far. It was very clean, and I enjoyed the sound of the tennis balls— not so much the coach yelling.! I like being inside a family house. The train tracks were very close, so the sound of the train was very loud. Luckily, it stopped about 11 PM. I was not prepared for that. also, it was hard to find, and I am grateful that the host came out to find me.

Adele helped us a lot during of our stay, recommending places to go & giving us info on Sorrento & it’s surrounding areas. couldn’t recommend this place enough. looks even better than photos occasionally the toilet wouldn’t flush
• Michael (8/5): Good location for the price - Adele the host was very helpful with suggestions upon arrival, there was a map of Sorrento and she pointed out areas of interest. The bed is very comfortable and a good size for 2 people with plenty of room. The location was only a 5-10 minute walk to the train station and about 15 minutes to the main shopping area.
• Mihai (10/5): We had a pretty good and pleasent stay - It was clean, it was comfy, we especially liked the design on the floor tiles and the view through the windows. There was a subtle fragrance of orange blossom in the garden. There were lots of orange trees and lemon trees around. It's quite during the night, and it's also pretty close to the city center. The hosts were friendly and polite. The kitchen looked pretty fine, but, to be honest, we didn't use it at all, since we spent most of our time outside and we ate only in restaurants. The food in Sorrento is absolutely fantastic. Another thing which we did not use at all (and would never regret not using it in vacations!) is the TV. We had a very good and pleasent stay. The only thing which might need a bit of attention is the flushing mechanism in the toilet. It was ok though, it didn't mind us.
• Julie (5/5): Cute little apartment, but could do with a clean. - The location was great. And the shower was good. You are near tennis courts and the train track, but neither were particularly disruptive. It was other guests who were more disruptive. The room wasn’t very clean, particularly the kitchen. We booked an apartment with a kitchen specifically so we could do some self catering but it wasn’t a kitchen that was clean enough to use. There was also far too much furniture in such a small space, particularly the bathroom. The bed could also do with some new linen.

• Jose (10/5): I highly recommend domino house! I stayed with my family because we had a wedding in Sorrento and it was a comfortable s - the house was spacious and well equipped. the host was there and available to answer to al our questions. towels were also provided! :)
