• Nicole (10/5): Great place, easy to get to and so affordable. - Lachlan was great and reached out on check in day to update getting in. The unit was super tidy and well organised. Fresh and clean. The pool area was bigger than how it looked in the photos. We will be looking at rebooking next year. The upstairs needs aircon. My family were fine with the ceiling fans, but me being of a certain age and having hot flushes, air con would have made my stay perfect..

• Sabrina (9/5): Lovely quiet spot - Lovely spacious property in a quiet spot of Byron Bay. The beds were really comfortable and the showers were great. We had plenty of space for 2 adults and 3 teenage boys. Lachlan was very easy to communicate with, which made our stay very pleasant. A little more attention should be given to the cleaning. There were spiderwebs on the walls and a good vacuum is needed behind the TV cabinet as well as the window tracks!

Kids enjoyed playing in a pool for whole day long. Property is the last in the street so was really quiet and felt private

• Jack Ishak (10/5): Byron Bay holiday for family - Our 3br house was excellently fitted out with all amenities required in a holiday unit being fully available to all rooms. The house was clean and quiet with a friendly ambience. Lachlan the owner was communicative and we were well informed regarding access to find the unit and additional access keys. No direct access to the pool from our back yard. But was not important.

• Scarlett (5/5): Passable - The host was very responsive and friendly, which made the stay easy and welcoming. The heated pool was a great feature and really enjoyable. The furnishings are older but still comfortable. A deep clean throughout the property would help, and it felt a little odd having linen hanging out on both clotheslines while we were staying. A few basic missing supplies like dishwasher tablets and foil and pool towels weren’t provided, which would have been useful given the heated pool. Also, the bedding only had thin blankets rather than proper doonas, and it wasn’t quite warm enough at night.
• Jacob (7/5): Spacious but needs a little - Overall it was a good experience and the host was pro active and kind - check in was easy and the apartment was spacious and had a private parking spot. The apartment was not as clean as it could have been and the patio in the back was full of weeds + it didn’t look as new as pictured and the kitchen didn’t have the supplies pictured either. No A/C the second bedroom, only a fan. It’s only a 5 min drive from Byron Bay Main Beach.

• Neil (5/5): Poor first impressions of property, looks dated. - Host was responsive. Accept that we used the property shortly after Cyclone Alfred which had affected the property. However there were large amounts of host washing (bedding) drying on clothes airer and washing lines, making them unusable. The property feels and looks dated. There were a few cockroaches in the house during our stay.

• Alessandro (5/5): Great location, terrible, greedy host. - The property is a nice and cozy townhouse in a holiday village, surrounded by trees. The host. We stayed the 2 days prior to cyclone Alfred hit the coast, and the morning of checkout there was no power (every appliance including hot plates is electric) and we got a message from the host about either organising to pay an extra night (when the cyclone was mentioned he said it was already discontented as the weekend has a higher rate) or leave. Extremely careless, selfish and greedy host. Absolutely no sign of humanity. I hope with this review, he never rents out the place again.

• Arone (6/5): Good location but dated accommodation. - The location was great. Short drive to the main beach. We saw cockroaches in a few areas of the accommodation. There was a stale/old smell in the cupboards. It was extremely hot upstairs. The tv/internet wasnt working.
• Collette (5/5): Basic accommodation for a short stay. - Location was pretty good, there was a good cafe within walking distance for breakfast, served pizza only at night. It was fine for a couple of nights but It was very dated property, surface areas clean but lots of dust/cobwebs etc. and very musty smell throughout. No air conditioning upstairs so very warm overnight.. the kitchen was equipped with basic amenities. Not enough tea/coffee provided for the people staying!

• Wenjin (5/5): Passable - The facilities in this house are old, there is not enough heating facilities, there is only one air conditioner downstairs, and there is only one small heater in the three rooms upstairs. The quilt is very thin, but the bed is OK, not too bad.

The room is fully furnished and well presented. We like the stay. Will recommend it. All good. Saw the reviews about slow internet. But the internet is very fast and good.

I can’t understand how there could be such a build up of dust etc. Off putting ! Especially when you’re just about to go to sleep.
