Guest Reviews
- Alexander (2/5): - was being sold and we were not informed and it was a construction site.
- Philip (10/5): - Nice hotel in a nice location
- David (8/5): Nice place. Convenient - Lovely place. Friendly.
- Tom (6/5): Convenient if you’re on a budget - Bat Sheva is a good option if you’re on a budget. Even so, as with Israel in general, accommodation and taxis are expensive. Be prepared to pay high prices. The rooms are small and airless. The front desk is slow and unfriendly. It takes 15 mins to walk to the Old City. The bathrooms are very good and the beds are comfortable. Do go up to the terrace for a photo op over the new city towards the old one.
- Jenny (4/5): - It was a bit unkempt considering the price. The Shabbat meals left much to be desired, especially breakfast.
- David (10/5): Great location. Great staff. - Great breakfast. Enjoyed the fresh coffee - young fella barista did great. Room was comfortable - no complaints. Front desk folks really went out of their way to assist this non-Hebrew speaker. Well done!
- Rachel (8/5): - We stayed here to be close to town. Walked to old city and rechavia it was shabbat friendly. Rooms were nicely decorated and comfortable
- Roving64199948704 (10/5): Everting good - Small, quiet hotel suitable for couples. Comfortable atmosphere, polite, courteous and efficient staff. Excellent food. Beautiful and comfortable rooms. Close to the Old City and the Western Wall. The room is equipped with maximum comfort. Strong and pleasant hot and cold water flow. Recommend to everyone. I will be back there soon.
- Philip (10/5): - It is a nice hotel in a good location
- hamutaly2021 (10/5): very good stay and value for money hotel - we truly enjoyed the stay, we were upgraded to an executive room without request, the food was excellent (half board), the overall experience is very positive and we got a very warm and fm welcoming treatment from the receptionist, everything we needed was the hotel is well located at walking distance from the old city and many other attractions. g
- udirot (10/5): Very nice experience - We stayed in Bat-Sheva hotel for two nights. The hotel is located in King George street, at the historic center of Western Jerusalem. But Old City is about 20 minutes' walk, and passes in lovlely streets full of shops, restaurants, bars, museums. Mahane Yehuda market is about 15 minutes walk.
There are many bus lines to other parts of Jerusalem.
The room, although not very big, is very comfortable and clean, and the staff treated us well. The breakfast was very good, and sustained us for most of the day. The highest floor is a bakcony where you can sit in cool evening breeze together with magnificent view of Jerusalem.
We enjoyed our time there, and probably shall come again/

- Victor (10/5): Great place to stay in Jerusalem - The reception staff are outstandingly friendly, helpful and welcoming - a special mention for Shyreene who was helpful and efficient from before we even arrived there when we contacted the hotel prior to our stay
It is very well located, a short walk to a lovely park with children's play facilities, Umbrella Street, Ben Yehuda, Jaffa Street, the great synagogue and yeshurun synagogue. Superb breakfast, small lounge with hot drinks and cake available at all times, (no hot hot drinks on shabbat fyi) and a pleasant rooftop sun terrace. For a central hotel very good value. Rooms quite small but to be expected in a central city location, good beds and comfortable enough though, good showers.
- 585visiti (6/5): Dust rooms and delicious breakfast - The hotel is very nice, but a lot of dust. There are a nice from the last floor, but is very dirty. Reception is not giving a information about places around. I hope when I will come next time all be much better. But you must visit the breakfast something delicious.
- vladimirgY9486KG (10/5): Bat Sheva Hotel experience - Wonderful, warm, family-like atmosphere. Great breakfast, best coffee, comfortable rooms. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. My checkout was extended until 6:00 pm without a charge. Great location. It is a short walk, about twenty minutes to a Kotel.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not the best - It was a budget friendly option but it showed. Room wasn’t super clean. Not many staff.
- Scott (10/5): Nice facilities, great location, helpful staff - Nice facilities, great location, and the staff was very friendly, especially Shalom, who went out of his way to help me out during my trip.
- Daniel (10/5): - The breakfast was so good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience.
- John (10/5): - Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was nice but a larger desk for work would be better. The 9th floor open area seating was nice and relaxing.
- Erika (10/5): - ALL
- Philip (10/5): - We really enjoy Jerusalem and all the city has to offer. The hotel is in a great location.
- Gurmeet (10/5): - Good staff. Front desk lady was helpful and friendly
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great stay
- Michael (6/5): - Rooms were spotless and staff exceptional. Rooms, however, we’re tiny - very little storage and smaller closet… no place to keep suitcases in room
- Lynda (10/5): - Great staff
- mahmood (10/5): - .
- Esther (10/5): - Very friendly service
- CAROLE (10/5): - Comfortable, clean, great breakfast.
- John (10/5): - Very nice hotel with rooms that are either brand new or recently refurbished. Close to the center, yet just far enough away for quiet at night. Friendly and efficient staff
- mary (10/5): - Nice small boutique hotel
- Dorit (8/5): Nice and simpel hotel - The hotel staff is pleasant and gives good service. Especially "Shalom" at the front desk. Also the room staff.
Only the bed felt small ...
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent service, Good Location, Nice Breakfast
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great Location
- Andy (10/5): Good place to stay in Jerusalem. - Overall I was very happy with the place, and I ended up staying another night. The place was completely empty and I was the only guest, so the service was attentive! The room was quite comfortable, albeit a bit on the smaller side. Air conditioning was strong and powerful and the wifi was solid. Location is good and its walking distance to the old city, the market a lot of shops and restaurants. I'd stay here again.
- Anonymous (6/5): - The service at this hotel is not up to par. Some staff members are rude and are not helpful whatsoever. I would not spend so much money on this hotel.
- Noriyuki (6/5): - Problem with my booking, room was ok, shower was badly designed, water can leak outside.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good location and great breakfast. We had two rooms and one was tiny but otherwise overall a good place to stay . The rooftop lounge area is only on one side of the roof so not very large
- Hava (10/5): - We have already booked four rooms for November 15
- Matt (6/5): - The front desk staff wasn't as helpful and friendly as I would expect from a 4+ Star hotel. They seemed more interested in quickly answering or questions so that we stopped bothering them. I cringed every time I saw the initial person that we dealt with upon check-in whene'er I had to ask a question.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The rooms were tiny definitely not as shown on the website there was no bar or snacks on the roof staff hard to find very disappointed
- Adam (10/5): Just funtastic - Great room upgrade, fantastic breakfast, always free coffee, what more can you expect?
- Sarah (10/5): Recomandable hotel - The location is excellent for a short trip to jerusalem
The staff very friendly and helpfull
The breakfast area nice although the aircondition to cold
To find the entrznce to the parking was a little bit difficult and the fact that one has to pay for the parking disapointing.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great water pressure in the shower. However some leakage onto bathrooms floor.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The staff was really nice and helpful, the location was great, the breakfast was good-not as elaborate as in some area hotels, but certainly better than others. Only 2 complaints; housekeeping didn’t clean our room, and the bathroom. I know it’s been mentioned in most other reviews, but it’s not just what you can see; it’s what you can hear. We ended up using the bathroom by the 9th floor lounge quite often!
- Rashid (4/5): Noisy, boring breakfast and unpleasant reception - Firstly the lacation is very noisy due to the proximity of the main roads. Then there's the breakfast. Same dishes every day that although breakfast was included i enjoyed eating outside the hotel . Service could of been more polite considering that customers are important . Not here , especially the old lady with the mousy blond hair . When returning to Jerusalem i will consider find another hotel that look after there guests.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Great location. Entry to parking lot was unusual with gate and having to drive on sidewalk to get into parking lot. Front desk people were not very helpful. Breakfasts were great with with good wait staff.
- Elliot (10/5): Sweet, Modern and Convenient - The stay was nice. The hotel has a very sweet staff that are around 24/7 to help take care of any need. The hotel is perfectly located in the center of town, with great options all around.
- james (8/5): Israel - The hotel was well kept and the rooms were a little above average for the area. The morning breakfest buffet was very good. The location is also very good. It's about a 30 minute walk to the old city. There are also a couple of market areas with a lot of excellent food choices. Parking is availiable on site, all though it's limited and first come first serve. The staff was very friendly and welcoming!!
- meryl (10/5): happy with stay. - Was really happy with our stay here. While the room was a bit small, the location was excellent, onsite parking was very helpful and the breakfast was very good! Will stay here again next time.
- Ron (8/5): - Convenient location within easy walking distance of the market, Jaffa St. and the old city. Stayed 4 nights of which 3 were good. After the 1st night the hotel was not cleaned for some reason. Breakfast is good. Hotel has a rooftop lounge where one can overlook the city and relax. Overall positive experience and would return there is travel brought me back to Jerusalem
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing little Boutique hotel in the center of it all. I would definitely stay here again. Not ideal if your looking to stay for a while or need a lot of room. Clean, good breakfast and nice staff.
- latifeh (10/5): - Staff was friendly. Great location. I only stayed one night but would highly recommend it.
- Jeff (2/5): NOISY BAR ACROSS STREET - Solid breakfast, friendly staff. Location was OK except that they are located right across the street from a bar that plays mind numbing loud music until 4 AM. They were willing to change our room, but I still had to use a white noise app on my phone to sleep. The rooms are small, but not the smallest we experienced in Israel. Beds comfortable. One other thing I have to say, and I hope the management reads this because it is a big problem. The second morning we were there we saw some people with omelettes (very simple tiny things that were overcooked) and we wanted one, so we asked. We were told it was too late even though there was an hour left for breakfast. I asked to see the manager so the dining room attendant decided to give us an omelette anyway. The next day I asked for another one (because the food, while good, is too rich and caloric for me) and I was immediately told no, even though it was 7:30 AM and there was almost nobody there. I complained about it and got my omelette. From then on, I decided to just give up. Those people in the dining room are just plain rude! Another example was that I needed some caffeine free herbal tea for my wife. They had the teabags out the first couple of mornings, but not on the third. I asked them to check to see if they had some in back. The dining room person just glanced, literally, at a wall, and said no. But a few minutes later they had the tea bags in the lobby, so he was obviously lying because he didn't want to help.
- Cody (10/5): Nice Boutique Hotel - The hotel is fairly new and located about a 10 min walk to the Mamilla hotel/shopping in a safe area.
Pros: very clean, kind staff, great breakfast included, easy walk to old city gate, nice views from the roof deck
Cons: rooms are small (although this wasn't an issue for us as we didn't spend much time in the room)
- Amy (6/5): - The room is too small... uncomfortable small... bathroom too small with no space for even a hair brush. No restaurant or room service... no descent size lobby if you travel with a group to seat or hang out... overpriced for what it was!
- Victoria (8/5): Wrong bed size and they did not admitted it - We reserved a superior room with a king bed. When we came to the room, it was very tiny with a full bed. I returned to the front desk and said that the room is too small with a small bed. They replied that we got what we paid for. I insisted and they gave me a key from another room and told me to check it.
It was a bigger room with a queen bed, and we took it. On Hotels.com website there are only two choices of rooms both with a king size bed. On TRYP by Wyndham Jerusalem Bat Sheva website there are three room choices including classic room, where they do not specify bed size, just say that it could be occupied by one person (I am assuming they tried to give it to us) and two other rooms with a king size bed. I could not find room with a queen size bed on any website. I am still not sure if they gave me the room i paid for .Very confusing and gave me very bad first impression.
The rest of the stay was pleasurable Good location, within walking distance to city center. Tasteful breakfast, everything was fresh and delicious.
- gabriel (8/5): - We checked-in and out 3 times during our week long stay in Israel. The first two nights, the room was OK, but getting one extra pillow was impossible, and we asked several times. Breakfast was excellent every single time. Location was good, for us.
