- MARIE (6/5): Underwhelming and no manual transmissions. - Let me start ny saying it was the cleanest hotel i have ever stayed at. It has absolutely NO AMENITIES. Even the coffee in the lobby is only for a couple of hours in the morning. I never saw one housekeeper or worker on the floors, so i do not how its so clean. One ice machine for 5 floors. I am glad there happened to be a daily garage across the strret because they ONLY have valet parking and do not accept manual transmissions which would of been good to know before arriving. It was a bare bones hotel.... the consider the fire pit in the 8 foot courtyard the amenity. Which is not helpful when its 90 degrees outside.

- Delicia (10/5): - What did you like or what was unique about the property? The price was reasonable! Such a hidden gem conveniently located right by the green line pick up stop at Concord, and a short half mile walk to the yellow line. Quick trips there and back to the area attractions assisted in cutting down extreme walking. All necessary amenities were included with the room. What did you not like? Our room was hot. We reported it a few times, but the air simply didn't keep up and it was only high 70s outside. The air in the hallway and lobby was much cooler. We were able to get a box fan from the front desk which helped. We would have given an excellent rating if the air had worked properly.

It didn't feel very private, and we heard every time someone walked by or said something in the hallway. Other than that, everything else was great.

- Lisa (8/5): Great hotel for our anniversary - The hotel was everything we needed. It was in a more rowdy part of the neighborhood so we probably would not come here with kids but it didnāt bother us. It was perfect ā¦ clean and safe and provided a comfortable stay. We were charged an extra fee afterwards. Thankfully I noticed and they refunded my CC once I called them about it. I would stay here again.

- Christopher (8/5): Highly Recommended! - Overall this was an outstanding property. Front desk service was top notch--very friendly. It is technically a time share, so when you check in, you get the typical sales pitch to visit a sister property (which I declined) but they were not at all "pushy." I gave an average review on cleanliness only because during my 3 night stay, housekeeping never visited. I left late (around noon) each day so maybe I missed the window for housekeeping and honestly not even sure if this is a service that is offered here. Otherwise the property and room were exceptionally clean. Room and bathroom were very spacious and liked the full kitchen. Location could not be beat--very walkable to most everything in the downtown area. There were some reviews complaining about the noise. I admit it did get a little loud as there is a bar with rooftop just next door however I was out late each night so it was not a bother. If you have kids or are wanting peace and quiet, maybe not your place. (Again, I stayed over the weekend so the noise could be limited to that timeframe--not sure). Overall very highly recommended--no issues whatsoever!

- Katherine (6/5): Okay deal in an expensive town - This is an okay hotel, very new. Service was minimal but nice. It was a really weird room though with no windows. Glad I was only there for a few days. But if you aren't spending much time in the room, the location was great.
- Matthew (10/5): Great location - Great location in downtown Charleston. The only downsides were the comfort of the bed and a lent roller sheet on the bathroom counter after we checked in.

Not the hotel's fault but an issue if you have kids. The service and hotel was excellent and I would recommend to others.

Is next to a busy bar, and music could be heard through the night. Was always greeted by the staff, who treat you like royalty. Great location on king street and not too far a walk to the Market and water. The courtyard outside our room was beautiful and peaceful.

The bed was very comfortable and we had a mini kitchen, which we only used to make coffee. The shower was huge. Everything was updated. Wish it were closer to the center of town. - Verified traveler (10/5): - This hotel was amazing! It was apartment style which was really nice because we could put things in the fridge for later! I chose this hotel because it was right on King St. which is where our pub crawl was. The staff was really nice and the front desk woman (Alexis) was super nice to us. The valet parking is $28 which was a little steep so we chose to do the $18 parking which was right across the street. Everything is walking distance (including the market). Our room was really well cleaned and had everything we could need. We will definitely be staying here again!!
- Alex (2/5): Completely Unprofessional/No Corporate Oversight - We were given a room key only to find the key did not work and could see through the window that the room was unmade. After waiting for maintenance to try to get into the room we were put into a different room. The next day we called to ask for a late checkout and were told nothing about how long we had to checkout or what fees might be incurred. When we checked out at 12:19PM we were told an adjustment was required and presented with a receipt with a similar total and left the property (it was prepaid). Only later did we realize they had charged us for a second night (as per their policy after 11:59AM). When we called to complain they were adamant that we had never called to ask for late checkout. Since they did not even mention that we were being charged again for a second night we were given no opportunity to dispute the charge. Certainly 20 minutes of leeway could have been granted had we been given the opportunity to remind them of the 20 minutes we had to wait for a second room. And certainly we could have reminded them that we indeed called and we given a late checkout. Instead they charged us a second full night and didn't even have the decency to mention it. After all, if we've paid for the room then we have the right to use it that night (they acknowledged). The manager was hostile to our concerns, constantly reminding us that the policy was printed, emailed, etc. And, there is no corporate customer service for hotel guests to resolve disputes only "resort owners".
- tyler (10/5): Quick Overnight on the the Way Home - Just a quick overnight on the way home from a holiday vacation abroad. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the room was spacious and clean, and the location on Upper King was perfect for walking to dinner. Recommended!

- Verified traveler (10/5): - I travelled with my husband and my friend. We stay 2 nights in this place. This hotel is one of the best I've ever stay. We reserved a family suite that has 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms, living room and dining area. If you travel as a family of 4 up to 8, this suite is an answer. We pay less than $200 per night. This is a very good deal. The room and the common area are so clean. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The location is nice in historic Charleston. I read some reviews before making up my mind, some guests complained about noisy streets or bars but I don't get that trouble maybe because it was not weekend. However, I usually wear ear plugs while sleeping. The hotel has valet parking. We used valet just the first night because we found out that there is FREE public parking for handicap ( my friend is) anywhere in Charleston even in public parking garage. Then the second night we parked in public parking garage that is just right ACROSS the street. It is easy to access. Overall we love this hotel. If we get a chance to traavel to Charleston again, we will certainly be here again.

- Flamgumbo (8/5): - Location very good. Price right for suite rooms, which are hard to find in Charleston. Staff very nice although they had some problems answering questions about the area. Not really concierge service although they tried. Valet parking very high. Noise a big problem. Thin walls, ice maker by room 212, and the worst thingābar or club nearby with live music on weekends that carries on until 1:30 or so in the morning. If you need reliable WiFi this is NOT the place.

- Christina (10/5): Comfortable, modern / low water pressure shower - Beautiful modern hotel and room. Ours faced the interior so there was less noise from traffic and bars. Bed was so comfortable. The only bad was the shower water pressure - it was terrible. This should be a cheap and easy fix which I would highly recommend. Decreasing the flow just makes showers take longer.

The room was comfortable and well-equipped with a kitchen. The room was not cleaned by housekeeping during my 3-day stay. My room had no outside view (small air shaft outside of windows). There is a wide range of restaurants nearby. The wifi did not work during my stay. Nice hotel but with functional limitations.

- Chris (10/5): - This is a quite new hotel operated on a somewhat unusual model since it is basically a time-share condo. Everything is clean and well maintained. Staff is friendly and responsive. Rooms are large and comfortable. The location is excellent, in a rapidly redeveloping area of King Street near numerous restaurants, coffee shops and stores. I would return to this establishment on my next trip to Charleston.

- Katie (6/5): - Called to say we would be arriving at 12am and was told security guard would direct me to the parking garage, but they didnāt know where it was, so we had to go to the hotel across the street to ask them where we should park. Went out for dinner the following night and came back to the hotel at 11:30pm and we were locked out and could not get into the hotel for 15 minutes when a courier went in through an employee entrance to unlock the door for us. The room was nice, but the experience was inconvenient.

Parking garage across street, $18 a day...if you don't want to valet park at hotel. Overall, a very nice place to stay.

Reception were ready for us and expedited check in and extended our check out time recognising how tired we were by that stage. Room and bathroom were large and clean. Good location at top end of main downtown Charleston area.

Just be aware there is no daily housekeeping (at least for a 3-night stay), so you will need to ask for extra towels/coffee etc.

- John (8/5): Excellent Location! - This property is not a hotel, it is a timeshare, but was excellent for our stay. Location is superb, on King St. Plenty of bars, restaurants, shops within walking distance. Historic district has a lot to explore. If flying in for a limited time, I would skip renting a car and just Uber or walk where you want to go.

- Patricia (8/5): Great place to stay! - We had a great stay. The hotel was in a pretty good location. There was a free hop on hop off stop right outside so it was super convenient. This is a timeshare so there is no maid service but there is someone at the front desk all the time and are happy to get you what you need. My only complaint is the water pressure in the shower, there was none. We unfortunately had a room near the ice machine which was annoying even in the middle of the night. Other than those 2 things we would stay there again.
- John (8/5): Very nice resort in Charleston SC - Very nice room. Well laid out. The small kitchen area was nice but we were did not use it just being in town for one night. The bathroom was very spacious. Other online reviews mentioned being able to hear noise from nightclubs and bars nearby. We did not have any such problem The only downside of the entire experience was the $28 price tag on the valet parking.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. You don't get some of the amenities of other hotels like room service, but I didn't find that I would have wanted or needed them. There were so many great restaurants and bars nearby that anything you could want is just short walk, and a public parking garage is just across the street if you prefer not to use the valet.
