• Kevin (10/5): Brilliant. Thank You! - Julia and David were the most outstanding hosts. It was a pleasure to be greeted by David on arrival. Everything in the lodge was perfectly arranged. The cleanliness and order were quite outstanding, and all necessities were more than catered for. The location is well placed, in North Harris, very central to visit many excellent sites of interest on both Lewis and Harris. It was wonderful to sleep under the astrolight window under the light of the moon (weather permitting)! For those up for long hikes the lodge is on the wonderful 'postmans loop', a 20km hike taking in some remote sites of great beauty. I cannot recommend Lochedge lodge highly enough. We have a lot of travel experience. This fully rates with the best of them. There were no negatives at all!
• Carolyn (10/5): Wonderful stay in a beautiful property in a stunning setting. - A beautiful property that is immaculately clean and in the most stunning setting overlooking the loch. The owners Julia and David are wonderful hosts and went out of their way to be hospitable and offer any help they could during our stay. I highly recommend Lochedge Lodge. Nothing as the property is perfect for a couple.

• Susan (10/5): Super find - Fantastic little annexe to a loch side house. All facilities and decor of very high quality. Wonderful bathroom and shower with plenty of towels. Own little patio overlooking Loch with Wonderful views. Secluded and secure. Nothing to dislike.

Of loch edge lodge was just perfect in every single way. - views spectacular and the position to explore Harris The lodge is fresh clean comfortable and very stylish. Could not ask for more - There is nothing at all to be disliked.

Very nice welcoming pack from the owners (Julia and David), which included a bottle of wine. Julia let me know beforehand that there is a Nespresso machine, so I could get some of my favorite pads. The place was exceptionally clean. Location is lovely and very quiet. Nothing not to like
• Rachel (10/5): Lovely accommodation, beautiful location, welcoming hosts - Lovely week at Lochedge Lodge, Julia and David were so welcoming and gave us some useful tips on places to go; the welcome gifts they left were a really nice touch too. The accommodation is lovely and is set in a beautiful location, it had everything we needed with our own outside space for sitting outside facing the loch, with a spaniel proof garden as a bonus! I would definitely stay there again and it's a great base for exploring Harris and Lewis, there was just so much to see and we didn't fit it all in so will have to go back!

The house is super nice, with a magnificent view over the loch, and it's so cozy and warm, with a lot of nice touches to add comfort, really a home away from home. Everything you could possibly need was there, from the kitchen to the bathroom and bedroom, and everything was so conveniently organized. Also wifi working perfectly. Julia and Robert were fantastic hosts, very discreet but at the same time always ready for everything we needed. The location is very convenient, 40 minutes drive to Stornoway, 13 min to Tarbert, an ideal location if you wish to explore both Lewis and Harris. Also, from the house without taking the car there are a few hikes you can do. One of the best apartments we've stayed in, would definitely reccommend! Nothing I can think of

The apartment was comfortable, spotlessly clean and we'll equipped with fine views of loch and hills. A super location on a lovely island.
