- SteveBuchmann (10/5): Hidden gem of a hotel - This is a genuinely great wee hotel. From the outside it’s not very inviting, and the elevator ride feels a bit horror-movie, but the bar area, staff and rooms are great! The location is also very convenient for walking around Munich.
- noniiiiiiiiii (4/5): Ok to stay but very misleading advertising - I should preface this review with: staff was super friendly, bed linens and bathroom were perfectly clean. This was a totally ok, if basic, place to stay for a few nights. HOWEVER -3 points for completely misleading photos of rooms, misleading advertising about amenities, and just generally bait-and-switch vibes. Definitely not a hip or "design" hotel HAHAHAHA! My room looked nothing like the photos, for one: old wall-to-wall shag carpeting (gross!!!), seriously beat up walls and desk, flickering lights, dark chipped paint on the walls. Also, the room contained almost none of the items that were specifically advertised in the room description: no coffee maker, no bluetooth speaker, etc. The in-room safe was non-functional. The breakfast was literally some plain croissants and two jars of jam, just a gimmick to be able to tick "breakfast included" on hotel search sites (in fairness: they are transparent about this if particular gimmick you bother to read). A reasonable price for this room if it were advertised in a transparent way would be about half of what they charge. In a pinch go ahead and stay here, it's totally fine, but if you have a choice then avoid it out of principle. More honest businesses deserve your business.

Sehr schwer zu glauben, dass das nicht bekannt war. Wir haben auf eine Reklamation verzichtet, das hätte nichts gebracht.

- Fränk (7/5): Zentral gelegenes modernes „jugendliches“ Hotel - Die Lage war sehr zentral. Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Mitarbeiter. Einer von uns war gestürzt und hat leider eine Stange im Bad aus der Mauer gerissen. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr hilfsbereit und hatten auch nichts gesagt wegen der Stange, nur dass sich jemand darum kümmern wird. Zimmer waren schön und gross Näpfe für die Hunde gabs auch Wir konnten bereits früher einchecken Gepäck konnten wir nach Checkout noch den ganzen Tag im Hotel lassen Der Eingang sieht nicht sehr einladend aus. Da wir eine Person mit Gehbinderung (teilweise Rollstuhl gebunden) dabei hatten, hatten wir nur in der Beschreibung nachgeschaut ob es einen Aufzug gibt. Jedoch gab es 4-5 Stufen im Eingangsbereich was nicht so top für uns war aber dafür kann das Hotel ja nichts. Wir hätten ja auch anrufen können und fragen. Dusche/Badewanne war mit einem kleinen Duschkopf ausgestattet (Stange, nicht rund), was die Dusche jetzt nicht mega zum Highlight gemacht hat. Fenster waren innen feucht/nass

- L611FKbonnieb (8/5): Highly recommend The Flushing Meadows Hotel - The location is fabulous, close to metro, restaurants and walking distance to many attractions. Rooms were clean. We did not have any noise issues. Bed was a bit hard for my liking, but my family was comfortable. Value for room was good. Staff was exceptional and very helpful. The bar was fun. The downsides - our room was on the dark side at night, better lighting around the bed would help. I like shelves in a shower, which was lacking, over the sink shelf in bathroom was good. Our sons room had a rain shower, which was really high up and they would have preferred it to be lower.

The rooftop bar was supposed to be open until 11 but they closed between 10-10:30 and were actually rude about it. We were refused service because the bartender had washed everything and was closing.

No hot water, dirty and unsafe - Location and friendly team to solve the mess of this ‚hotel‘ If you enjoy cold showers, dirty and broken rooms, and feeling unsafe, then this is the place for you. But if you expect even the basics — warm water, cleanliness, or a working safe — please stay far away. The room was disgusting, everything felt worn out and neglected, and it’s unbelievable that the owners don’t seem to care at all. It’s a real shame, because with a little effort this could be decent, but right now it’s just awful. Please don’t make the same mistake I did — do not book here!
- Tanja (5/5): - Das Personal war, sofern vorhanden nett und hilfsbereit. Ansonsten ist die Rooftopbar sehr positiv hervorzuheben. Zum Check out fanden wir leider niemanden und haben den Schlüssel, da alles bezahlt war, hingelegt. Das Duschwasser war am ersten morgen lauwarm und am zweiten kalt. Leider funktionierte auch die Klimaanlage in der zweiten Nacht gar nicht und in der ersten schaltete sich die Temperatur nach zwei Stunden wieder auf 25 Grad. Zum Schlafen nicht akzeptabel. Das Fenster konnte aufgrund der lauten Straße kaum offen gelassen werden.

- Marion (4/5): Einmal und nie wieder! - Die Lage war ausgezeichnet. In unmittelbarer Nähe Restaurants und Bars. Cooles Design der Zimmer. Da wir nach kurz nach 17 Uhr angereist sind, war die Rezeption nicht mehr besetzt. Die Barleute haben den Schlüssel übergeben. Für das Tor zum Parkhaus gab es nur einen Toröffner, d.h. man musste immer den Schlüssel holen , wenn man wieder reinfahren wollte. Außerdem war die Schließvorrichtung für die Zugangstür zur Parkgarage kaputt, die Tür wurde durch einen Eimer offengehalten. Leider hatte sie jemand geschlossen, der Mitarbeiter der Bar wollte sich kümmern, kam aber nicht mehr zurück. In den Zimmern gab es keine Minibar, bzw. einen Kühlschrank. In der Dusche gab es Schimmel an den Fugen, da auch keine Abluft im Bad vorhanden war.

However, you must first go to the front desk on the 4th floor to get instructions before returning to retrieve your car. Unfortunately, there is no designated space to leave your car temporarily at the entrance, so if you’re traveling alone, the process becomes nearly impossible. The staff is nice and friendly. The rooms are quite small and not as clean as they appear in the photos. The bathroom lacked several amenities you’d typically expect at this price point. Additionally, the café/bar is located right next to the rooms, making noise a significant issue both during the day and at night. We had to file a complaint due to a private party in the bar that lasted until 3 a.m., we did receive a small reimbursement, but the disruption was unacceptable.

- Anonymous (9/5): Great, non-traditional but trendy hotel! - This is a great property I'd highly recommend to anyone, but especially an American traveling abroad. The staff were incredibly helpful, the room was trendy and clean, and there was a great view from the patio attached to the bar. All around, I was very happy with the accommodations! The only thing I'd say to be mindful of is the exterior of the property gives little indication there's an actual hotel there. If you're looking for pools and valet parking, this probably isn't the place for you. It's also a little dark in the entrance and you have to go up to the 3rd floor to get to the hostess (and its not a formal desk, so to speak).

The beads were comfortable. All nice and clean. The beds were a little creaky. All three nights, the (little) bar was used for private parties which made it totally unavailable to guests. Because of this the elevator was occupied all the time so we had to walk the four stairs many times. Also, loud music, which didn't really disturb me, but it must have been awful for the rooms next to the bar. The breakfast consisted of coffee, croissants, jam, butter and juice. Except Sunday morning, when there were No croissants and No juice. Except, there was half an hour later, when I already had my ... coffee and jam for breakfast... Come on, this breakfast was a joke.

However, on Friday night the bar turned into more of a club and the music was so loud the room walls vibrated and we may as well have joined in up until around 0100

- Preben (8/5): Very good - Fun neighborhood, hotel is modern but with character. (It's more aof bar with some rooms, rather than a traditional hotel. We found a live-sized rock band of black skeletons near the ceiling in our room.) Breakfast was coffee, juice and croissants. Some yoghurt and musli would be nice!
- Nikitha (7/5): Great for a weekend getaway - Good design, friendly staff. Great location. Good shower water pressure, clean rooms. There wasn't someone necessarily at reception at all times but if you called out then someone would appear, which is fine but I guess it was surprising for a hotel. The room I had was right next to the bar terrace, so I couldn't keep the balcony door open for fresh air or access my balcony because of cigarette smoke and noise and people could look in if they were sitting where the privacy screen ended. It wasn't great having to walk through the terrace past all the smokers to get to my room every time I left or entered.

- Kristine (9/5): Wonderful hotel with great staff! - The property is very lively given the popular rooftop bar. The design of each room is unique and the location is super convenient. The staff are also super friendly and helpful. If you have a top level room, you have walk by the bar but it isn’t an issue.

- Rojas (10/5): A lovely modern and vibin place to stay. - It was a boutique hotel with a very funky vibe, i loved it. Modern and clean, the staff was lovely. Gave us a local beer upon check in and overall the room was huge with heated bathroom floor. Highly recommend. Everything was great.

- Catherine (10/5): Wonderful place stay in a great location. - We loved the concept of the hotel, small scale with a nice place to hang out in the morning and evening (the upstairs bar). Rooms were unique, well done and bed was super comfortable. The location was perfect, it was close enough to the more touristy center of town but in a great neighborhood that didn’t feel overrun with visitors. We can’t wait to come back!

- Andrew (6/5): - This is a unique hotel. The first room we were given was tiny--there wasn't even enough space to open the suitcase. Fortunately the gentleman who helped us check in found another room that was more comfortable. The hotel itself is bare-boned but the bar upstairs is very nice. There was no wifi the entire time we were there, which for international travelers was a big problem.

- Laura (8/5): Very good - The location of the hotel was great. Check in / out was very easy. The rooftop bar is pretty cool and I appreciated the welcome coffee and little "breakfast" offer. The room was a bit smaller and less special than expected. We liked the bathroom a lot but the bedroom was quite "basic" for a design hotel that promises a little more of a "twist" to regular hotel rooms. The entrance (front door and staircase) was a little off-putting at first - felt like staying in a hostel.
