- Vannnie (9/5): Great value for money and good location for Babbacombe - The accommodation was lovely, spacious, clean and had all we needed for a few days' stay. The owner and the lady who served our breakfast were very friendly and lovely to chat to. The fact that a cooked breakfast was provided in the price was a bonus, with a choice of options as well as cereals, toast, lots of fresh fruit, yoghurts and tea and coffee that we could serve ourselves with. There was no real noise problem although I don't think there were many guests at the time. The shower was good too. We walked into Babbacombe on 2 evenings to eat and admire the beautiful coastline, which was about a 20 minutes' level walk. Nothing really, although one evening we arrived back at about 8pm and had to park quite a way up the road as the parking is all on-street, not that it was a problem on that occasion, but might be if you arrive late and have to carry your luggage etc, going back and forth. The bed was just a tad too soft compared with my own bed, but after the first night I did sleep better.

The Avron Hotel is absolutely beautiful ā spotlessly clean, stylishly presented, and in a perfect location. Parking was easy, which made things even more convenient. The owners were truly lovely ā so welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was stunning and really comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choice and everything cooked to perfection ā a lovely way to start the day. We couldnāt have asked for a better stay ā highly recommended! .

Didn't need to use it as the shower tray was ridged but appreciated the mat provided as I have a fear of slipping! Lovely terrace for the morning/evening sun. Corner shop at the bottom of the road if you need it.

Just didnāt get a good night sleep throughout our stay. Wouldnāt have said our room was deluxe plus no wine or champagne with room which was written in description on room detailās ( maybe a update is needed ) Bed was very uncomfortable felt the bed springs especially as this was meant to be a deluxe room. Curtains not up to standard , let in a lot of light !!! Parking was an issue. Late checking in time from 5pm . Found stray hairs in the bathroom.

Nothing was too much trouble. Will be pleased to stay again. Nothing, it was great.

The good was tasty as a breakfast but disappointed about the half toasted bread with the other half not toasted. A new toaster would rectify this for a 5***** revue Not a case of donāt like at all, and we will be back again another time as the lady is lovely and welcoming. We had the downstairs twin a largish room but the beds are a little on the hard side and I am sure a mattress topper would solve this.

- Gemma (9/5): Lovely property and good hosts - Very lovely stay, clean and tidy, good breakfast and hosts very responsive to messages and queries both before and during stay. Parking right outside the property. Very good value for money and would Def return if in the area and would recommend to others. The only thing that could have been an issue would have been the 5pm check in. As we arrived on sat and just stayed one night, it would have been nice to be able to check in a little earlier. On this occasion it was not an issue though as the weather was nice so we were able to just wander around and then have an early tea before we arrived.

Water was very nice and hot for shower. The room hsd towels and toiletries in the bathroom. Food (breakfast) wasnt too bad either. Good spread and hot food. Bed in room 4 was very uncomfortable. So soft we sank in and gave us a backache. I found had hair in the cooked food which was sad as I actually was enjoying breakfast.

- Sian (8/5): Great little place to stay for a short break. Close to amenities and easy to park. - The room was nice and tidy if a little small bearing in mind we booked a bigger/superior room. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was well cooked and tasty. The hosts were very friendly and when my partner got a soaking in the rain they were very accommodating putting his hoodie in the tumble dryer for us. It was an easy walk to shops and restaurants. The towels could do with improvement as they were a bit hard and small, I'm not a big woman but they didn't meet in the middle when wrapped around me.
- Dawn (10/5): Great base, amazing value for money. - A great base for our long weekend away with family. The comfort and space in our rooms was a real bonus. Comfortable beds, powerful shower with free toiletries available, clean towels provided. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a flat screen Tv. Very clean establishment. Breakfast was a so good with fruit, cereal, yoghurt and a full English breakfast on the menu. A request form was issued on arrival to make breakfast choices and preference on time for breakfast given too. There was a small lounge with tv and adjacent toilet to use if you donāt want to stay in your room to relax. Our host and the lovely lady helping with breakfast were really friendly and informative and checked to make sure all was well during our stay. Would highly recommend Avron House and will be booking in again later this year when we go back to Torquay.

- Sandra (8/5): Very good - room was clean with good quality bed linen. owner was friendly and good breakfast a parking spot was not as easy to find as we were led to believe on the website. Luckily we managed to find a space on the road as someone left. if staying for more than one night we would have liked to have had a more central location
