- Raymond (8/5): Herzlichen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft, wir kommen gerne wieder einmal. - Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer sowie das Frühstücks Buffet waren hervorragend. Die Freundlichkeit vom Personal war ebenfalls Top. Sehr gut fanden wir auch den Skikeller der auch von aussen zugänglich war. Da unser Zimmer im dritten Stock war, erlaubten wir uns jeweils den Lift zu nehmen, der hat übrigens immer funktioniert. Leider gab es im Zimmer keinen einzigen "normale" Stuhl zum Kleider deponieren. Für zwei Garnituren Skikleider, Winterjacken etc. gab es leider nur zwei Hacken an einer Wand. Im Bad fehlte uns eine Stange zum aufhängen des Badetuchs. Die Schlaufen an den Tüchern waren zu klein um das Tuch an den vorgesehenen Hacken anzuhängen. Daher war das Badetuch am Morgen noch feucht. Da wir "normale" Bürger sind, war uns die Abendspeisekarte viel zu teuer und wir vermissten eine einfache, gutbürgerliche Walliser Karte (Küche).

En plus de ceux figurant à la courte carte, ce qui est un gage de qualité. Le serveur annonce un rosti aux morilles. Il y avait bien quelques grammes de morilles microscopiques et la sauce goûtait bien la morille. Par contre les champignons de Paris garnissaient généreusement la sauce.

- Clara (6/5): Rapport qualité prix pas à la hauteur. - Tres bel hôtel bien décoré avec beaucoup de charme et de touches personnelles. Le staff était très sympathique et accueillant. Le petit déjeuner était bon. La chambre était confortable. On est allés au spa à 17h30 le jour de notre arrivé pour découvrir que les bains dehors étaient tièdes… et non à 38. Plusieurs autres guests ont fait la même remarque, et l’ont dit à une des dames qui travaille la bas mais elle leur a répondu qu’elle ne savait pas comment faire pour les réchauffer. L’espace du spa était beaucoup plus petit que ce à quoi on s’attendait, il suffisait qu’on soit 7-8 guests pour que l’espace soit serré… néanmoins le sauna et hamam fonctionnaient bien donc c’était déjà ça. Pour un hôtel à ce prix, j’ai été quand même assez déçue, car je pense que beaucoup viennent pour le spa surtout, et là je ne l’ai pas trouvé du tout à la hauteur du reste de l’hôtel. Le fait qu’il n’y avait pas de thé non plus dans la chambre, ainsi que pas de “Conditionner” et de lait pour le corps qu’on retrouve normalement dans des hôtels de ce standing et surtout ceux avec spa. pour un 4 étoiles c’est un détail non négligeable. C’est dommage qu’à cause de ces quelques détails on ne reviendra pas… Supplément je suis rentrée chez moi et ai contractée une conjonctivite 24h après, ce qui correspond au délai d’incubation d’une infection bactérienne de l’œil… probablement attrapée la bas au spa du coup…

Having been climbing in the Alps for a week we arrived as four tired, dirty, dishevelled, and hungry men. Despite our apperance we were greeted with a wonderful reception. Wash, change and into hot tubs with cocktails – what could be better! Very friendly staff, everything was great and a very high standard of cuisine. We loved it. We will return. Nothing

- Verified traveler (10/5): Splendid stay. Friendly, beautiful and comfortable - The clerks were very welcoming and pleasant. Check in was done with a smile comfortably sitting outside on the balcony with a drink. The room assigned to this old guest had a beautiful bathroom but the tub was not practical for me. I was immediately transferred to an equally beautiful room with a balcony with a splendid view of the mountain range AND a very nice walk-in shower. I loved the friendliness and the majestic mountains. Chandolin boutique hotel exceeded my expectations.

- Kelsey (10/5): Glad to return for the third time and will not hesitate to stay again - I've stayed here 2x before and came back because it's such a lovely place in a great location - two minutes' walk from the bus station at Chandolin Poste, two minutes from the grocery shop, and with an amazing breakfast and dinner offerings. The rooms (I stayed in the bunk bed option but by myself) are very comfortable, with a great bathroom setup (rain shower!), comfy bed, water, coffee machine and pods, and lift access to the rooms. The staff are truly lovely and let us store our overnight bags before and after our stay while we went to work up on the mountain. Nothing at all!

- David (7/5): the restaurant made it a bad experience - the hotel, the location, the room the restaurant. after the entree, we waited for over an hour for the plat principal. considering the prices, definitely a bad experience. they should at least advice the clients about the wait.

- Nayla (9/5): Cosy and cute - Very nice boutique hotel, in the tiny village of Chandolin. Ski access is good: shuttle or 8mn walk. Slope finishes in front of the hotel. Rooms with beautiful view on the mountain and valley. The other side on the street is ok. Food is very good and the restaurant is cosy. Staff helpful and nice Rooms are very small relative to the price I find. There is a salon to hang out, but its on a different floor… at the end we didn’t use.

- Kurt (6/5): Probably ok in winter for skiers. In summer too remote, no shops, no restaurants, no live.. - Nice design. Good food, the chef can cook. Large bath-tub. Welcome drink "Ice tea" - a glass of (simple) Wallis wine would be more appropriate. No amenities in the room, except bottles of soap/shampoo and conditioner. Hanging down razor mirror was not fixed throughout our stay and according to maid all rooms have the same problem. Cold Raclette cheese for breakfast - not suitable for a breakfast buffet. Choice of food in the restaurant is limited. No comfort food, no simple local fare such as fondue, roesti, raclette...For such food we had to drive 7,5km to St. Luc where there is a nice choice of restaurants and some shops.
