• Lynette (9/5): - Comfortable bed, French windows opening on to small balcony, and upstairs roof terrace is excellent. Lift even goes up to the roof terrace which is great. Fridge Location is excellent, middle of old city, minutes toi restaurants. Good communication by friendly lady who checked us in at the office and took us to our building 5 mins away. She provided 2 sets of keys which made our visit much easier. Still quite expensive for out of season booking, end Oct but in Italy prices just keep increasing!

• Postirnaceanu (9/5): - Locația foarte bună, totul la câțiva pași distanță. Comunicarea cu personalul este excelentă, te ajută cu orice informație. Terasa de pe clădire este un mare plus pentru noi. Pereții au un aspect mai uzat, sunt foarte multe urme. Cel mai deranjant lucru a fost ca am găsit multe fire de păr când am ajuns( pe pat, în duș, pe întrerupător, pe umerașe).

• Maxence (8/5): Charming apartment in the heart of Monopoli - Very clean, very friendly staff checking if all was good every day, super well located, great rooftop terrace to have apéritivo in the evening Not much. Maybe just the fridge which was not cooling much. The flat is small but very logical considering it is the old city center so not an issue.

• Johnej99 (5/5): A mediocre at best property that represented itself more as a hotel than a stand alone B&B - The location is inside of the old city. Unless you are a native Italian you have no concept of the difficulty of finding parking. It took us over 1 hr on arrival to find a parking spot within a 20 min walk of the B&B. Descriptions of how to park, the elimination of the fan in the bathroom turning on and off though out the night, the fact that while paying for daily housekeeping you still had to request it or it didn’t happen. AND. There were no wine glasses in the room! In Italy and no Wine glasses ….. really

Comfortable rooms and nice rooftop terrace which we had access to. Quiet. There is a lift for luggage or those not fancying stairs. No complaints, nice stay.

• Derek (8/5): Great stay, would stay again. - Excellent apartment and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The location is perfect, in the heart of the old town in Monopoli. There is a lift for those with accessibility needs to get you up the stairs & a lovely roof terrace with great views. There was an air-con type noise in the bathroom that came on any time it was triggered by movement. This was slightly annoying. But no other complaints at all.

Everything was clean and tidy. The staff were very responsive and helpful with recommendations. Only downside is the charge to store luggage after checkout. Everything else was great!

• Anonym (10/5): Exceptional - Dimora Maio is located right in the heart of beautiful Monopoli in a quiet street! Everything is reachable by foot: bars, cafes, restaurants, the harbour, seaside, shops, supermarkets.... Our room had a balcony with great views. Also, the roof terrace is stunning! The room is very clean, bright and well equipped with a comfortable bed. A plus for a room in the historic center: the building has an elevator which was very comfortable for carrying our luggage up and down. We would definitely come back and recommend to stay at Dimora Maio!

• Verified traveler (10/5): - The property was amazing, the suite was amazing, the bed was amazing , the location was amazing. The breakfast was outstanding that’s included at the restaurant downstairs . This isn’t a hotel so there is no reception. We realized late in the evening that there was only 1 pillow each and we found the spare pillows, my husband had a very bad back & needs 3. The next morning at breakfast the cleaning lady came storming in yelling at us in the restaurant, got another restaurant guest ( who we didn’t know) to translate (how embarrassing) that we shouldn’t take things and go into a private area (it was under the bed and not locked) and how awful we were to do this and how angry she was. It left a bad feeling. We apologized profusely. Or if they don’t want the guests having access to extra pillows or a extra blanket lock it away. It was incredibly rude and overall left a bad feeling about this place. She should not work in tourism industry if she has no customer skills and getting angry at us for a trivial issue. If the owner was upset he should have messaged me not her angry at us in a restaurant. It’s not like we stole the pillows!!!
• ANDREW (8/5): Good location! - The room was on the smaller size, and felt a little less value for money than expected. The three suites are not over three floors - they're all on one floor. The two other floors also have three suites on each, from different B&B providers. The breakfast next-door was great, and good to have in the package. Smaller touches could do with being fixed (we only had one coffee pod for the coffee machine, despite being 2 guests; the shower leaked in to the bathroom; no bottle opener; no front desk at all). But.... great location, clean and tidy, daily housekeeping, great private (for the three rooms) roof terrace
• Verified traveler (10/5): - Love the roof! It was so nice to arch the sunset from there. We also love that they provided vouchers for breakfast at the cafe in the square- great people watching in the morning. The apartment was modern and comfortable . We would definitely book here again.

• Annette (8/5): Zentral gelegene empfehlenswerte Unterkunft - Modern eingerichtete B&B-Unterkunft mit allem Komfort, sehr zentral in der Altstadt gelegen. Daher gibt es allerdings auch keine Parkplätze in der Nähe. Frühstück gibt es im nahe gelegenen Café; das Frühstück war gut und reichlich, leider etwas sehr laute Musik.
