The level of service was superb, with genuine professionalism and attention to every detail. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the entire property felt thoughtfully designed and beautifully maintained. Our room was incredibly spacious, aesthetically beautiful, and very well considered for comfort. The food was excellent, and the location was ideal — perfect for exploring University of Coimbra and the historic centre of Coimbra. We would absolutely stay here again. Nothing

• Angela (7/5): The waiter service was very good - but the public areas were not comfortable. - It’s situation near the university. Te courtyard with tree and seating area. No relaxing area on ground floor. It was raining the last day and no outside seating was available. We were told we couldn’t have a glass of wine in the Living room, and we couldn’t sit on the single row of uncomfortable high stools at the side of the dining room and order wine either - you had to stand at the bar to do that!

• Olivia (7/5): Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt nicht, wenn man den schlechten Zustand des Zimmers berücksichtigt. - Die Lage ist top und das Hotel im allgemeinen sehr modern und schick. Das Zimmer ist auf den ersten Blick modern eingerichtet, aber leider in schlechtem Zustand. Die Wände schmutzig, zum Teil beschädigt und provisorisch repariert. Und vor allem an mehreren Stellen schwarzer Schimmel!! Und was im Bad gepfuscht wurde, ist mir absolut unverständlich. Die Dusche dermaßen laienhaft verfugt und mit Holzleisten, die man eigentlich nur auf normalem Fußboden und nicht in einer Duschkabine verwendet. Außerdem extrem hellhörig. Ab 6 Uhr morgens haben wir jeden Schritt, der über uns gemacht wurde, sehr laut gehört.

No pudimos terminar de cenar por la falta de luz en la cocina. Estuvimos en la habitación/hotel unas 3 horas sin luz. Debió afectar a unas cuantas calles cercanas al hotel.

• Laura (9/5): Buena estancia - Está muy bien ubicado, cerca de la zona de la universidad. El personal fue muy amable y nos ayudó con el equipaje. Además, tienen una zona para aparcar que, aunque no pertenece al hotel, los clientes están autorizados, lo que lo hace mucho más fácil. La habitación es amplia y las vistas al río son de valorar. El hilo de música que había constantemente en la zona del hall que no dejaba dormir. Por otro lado, las bebidas son un poco caras.

L’emplacement de l’hôtel juste à côté des universités est un plus Le jardin où on peut prendre ses repas est très agréable . La salle de bains est une boîte et même si la grande douche est parfaite elle n’est pas agréable L’armoire n’est pas pratique Le petit déjeuner peut être meilleur ( le thé n’est pas bon!)

A particularly lovely outside patio dining area. They also have a rooftop bar area where we got a free glass of wine at 6pm !. The food was very nice and the team of staff very helpful and friendly. This is a very good hotel, highly recommended. The breakfast buffet was a little bit lightweight for a hotel if this standard.

• robertyau (10/5): Amazing modern hotel with great staff. - This is a very modern, design forward hotel. I love the minimal design. The staff was absolutely amazing (obviously trained for 5 star services). The location is right in the historical center next to the Joanina library (Biblioteca Joanina). Lots of relaxing outdoor spaces like the rooftop bar to watch the sunset. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area. In a very walkable area.

The staff was accommodating. You literally felt like you were the most important person in the room. No complaints here

Y eso que la cocina cerraba 1h y 30 min más tarde. Y 5 mesas comiendo. - Muy poco amables los trabajadores. - Había que ir en fila india para el desayuno, formándose colas innecesarias.

• BethO207 (10/5): This is the one! - My adult son and I had a fantastic time in Coimbra mid-March and one of the reasons was being able to stay at this lovely hotel! We stayed on the 6th floor and our rooms were next to each other which made for easy coordination for meals etc. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and helpful with suggestions. The buffet at breakfast was plentiful and delicious! We ate one dinner at the hotel and it was probably the best meal we ate over our 12 days in Portugal. Compliments to the chef! The rooms were quiet and spacious and the large balconies nice for enjoying the view. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spotless. The roof terrace is a wonderful place to take in the beautiful views, and the complimentary happy hour was a nice touch. The hotel is literally beside the University (don't forget to book a tour!) and wandering through the Botanical Garden, also next door, was one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our stay so nice! Would love to come back one day!

• Michael (8/5): trendy hotel it's good... but no way deserves a 5 star price - breakfast is very good, breakfast staff are friendly, room is excellent you can cook & prepare your own food. & location is perfect as long as you don't mind the steep steps & walk when heading into town I found some of the front desk staff bit aloof or arrogant... & even though we paid a large sum of money for the 5 day plus some meals but there was no consideration for a couple of hours extra which we would have paid a fee. That other guests tended to be from one country rather than cosmopolitan

• Colette Lamee (10/5): Charmant hotel.op een perfecte plek in Coimbrai - De charme van t hotel en heel smaakvol ingericht . Locatie perfect in t mooiste gedeelte van Coimbrai. Ontzettend aardig personeel die ook heel goed hielp bij het vinden van t hotel omdat het een beetje ingewikkeld is vanuit de universiteit. Een belletje naar hotel 5 minuten voordat je aanklmt en dan helpen ze je met het gidsen naar t hotel toe met de auto . Alles was perfect.

É perfeito para quem quer visitar a universidade e a Biblioteca Joanina e a parte histórica da cidade. Tem um rooftop com uma vista espectacular sobre a cidade e o rio Mondego. O hotel, sendo um Boutique Hotel, tem uma série de atenções para com os hóspedes. Fomos recebidos com um welcome drink: ou um sumo de abacaxi ou um Porto, acompanhado de um mini pastel de nata. Há águas aromatizadas à entrada. Ficámos no quarto denominado "Luís de Camões" que é muito confortável e tem Kitchenette. O pequeno almoço é variado e de boa qualidade. O pessoal é muito atencioso e agradável. Gostei de tudo.
