- richb767 (10/5): Flying out of CLE? The Aloft Airport Hotel is where to stay. - This is the ONLY place to go when staying overnight to fly out of Cleveland. You will be greeted by Twila and Evelina....Two of the friendliest people you will meet. They will do anything for you to make you feel at home here. My wife and I love chatting with them while having a cocktail and playing pool in the lobby. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. The shuttle drivers are courteous and always on time. Burntwood Tavern is literally next door for lunch/dinner/drinks and you get 15% off of your bill for staying at the Aloft! We've stayed at ALL of the airport hotels, and would not think of staying anywhere else.

- timbrad (2/5): Woof!! - As an extremely loyal Marriott Ambassador Elite member I opted to pay over $250 a night for this property. My mistake. I’m sure it is a great hotel for dog owners, as you are greeted with free dog snacks as you enter the hotel and before you reach the reception desk. I quickly realized it is very subpar hotel for Bonvoy members. The following is the Marriott program for Elite Bonvoy members. Welcome Benefits for Aloft Properties: • 500 Marriott Bonvoy® Points per stay • A food and beverage amenity per stay • Or breakfast in the restaurant per night of stay for the member +1 Ambassador elite members are also promised a welcome gift upon check-in Greeted by the front desk agent (Olina) there was never any mention of Bonvoy status, which is rare in the over 100 nights per year I spend Marriott properties. Instead I was handed a $10/night meal voucher and a wrapped bottle of Aquafina. When I inquired as to if the voucher was for a complete breakfast, she stated it was for whatever was on their menu board and the balance would be charged to my room. Generally speaking, the offerings were extremely poor and ridiculously over priced ($8 for a waffle). Upon arriving in the room, we found a note stating we would likely receive a request for survey (assuming from Marriott) after checking out asking for feedback on how they could improve their service. The note also requests that guests reach out BEFORE YOU LEAVE directly to the hotel with any problems so they may address. Upon reading the note I went down to the front desk and asked Olina have Patricia Bella (GM) reach out to discuss the disconnect with Bonvoy program. I left my room and phone number for her to contact me. I never heard from Ms. Bella. The hotel is more than chaotic. The lobby resembles a poorly merchandised 7-11. The gym and pool area have no towels and the rooms barely have any either. The doors in each room slam very loudly and the overall feeling is very sterile. The TV system is a mess, with no interactive channel guide, having to scroll through every channel to find content you want to watch. The hotel also has the spunk to charge a $4.00/Night “Facilities Charge”…I guess for the free dog bones. Clearly this franchised property enjoys the benefit of booking through the Bonvoy property but has little interest (or accountability) to honoring Marriotts commitments to its most loyal guests. Loyalty has its drawbacks, especially at $250+/night But there’s plenty of dog bones if they can hold you over until lunch.

Carpets need a really good vacuuming in between each stay and there are a list of dust bunnies on the tile floors. I don’t think our rooms had been vacuumed on our stay to and from our trip. 2 different rooms and the floors looked dirty! Also, a continental breakfast would be nice.

They don’t roll their eyes when I mention the dog will be a roommate. In fact, they give my dog even more attention. The rooms are clean, there is plenty of land around for dog walks and exercise.

Our family travels frequently and this staff not only remembers and checks in on us but also consistently go above and beyond. - ArkansasAngel (10/5): Great place to stay! - Awesome overnight stay close to the airport. We stayed here on a busy weekend when prices for downtown hotels skyrocketed. We scored a cheaper Saturday night stay here then moved on to a downtown hotel when prices fell on Sunday. The Aloft Cleveland Airport had everything we needed for a comfortable stay without our own transportation. The airport shuttle was fast and friendly. We knew right away that we scored a great place when several different airline crew boarded the shuttle with us. Our room was clean and comfortable. The room does not have a microwave but we discovered the breakfast/snack area had one for community use. Service at the WXYZ Bar was exceptional - friendly, accommodating, great wings! Would be an excellent place to park-n-fly.

- ExpertTravelCritic (8/5): Very nice airport area hotel - This hotel is located about a 15 minute drive from the airport. An unmarked white van with very little branding is used for the transportation, which is a little bit uncomfortable after arriving at the airport to get into a van and not 100% sure it’s taking you to the hotel.. the hotel itself is nice and modern with a small lobby with decent seating areas, a self service cafeteria as well as a sit down bar that is radio station themed. Hotel also has an indoor pool. The rooms themselves are large and modern with a open style layout where the bathroom does not have a door. It is just located behind the bed and if you are like me where you like to close the door and keep a light on in the bathroom for a small night light it is not possible as there is a frosted window right behind the bed which lights up the whole room. The room itself has very good air-conditioning comfortable beds and Wi-Fi. The front desk personnel are overly kind and helpful. This is a great option for those staying at the airport area.

The bad: They didn't clean our room so we came home to wet towels on the floor (thereby damp air) and unmade bed. We were exhausted and had to sit outside while the front desk staff remade the bed and swapped out towels because housekeeping wasn't on site. The shower is low flow and it's walk-in only so rinsing shampoo from hair is an all day affair. The bathroom sink clogged. The room was on the ground floor so we couldn't open the blinds at all as people walked by a few times. The price was way too high for North Olmsted, Ohio.

Didn’t have much time so brought food from the airport but didn’t look too many choices for food. Didn’t use but gym looked very nice. Appreciated the fridge and complementary water. Staff at the reception were very nice and professional.

Most staff members were very nice except for the shuttle driver… he never greeted me and acted very upset that he had to take me to the airport even though I had my name placed on the schedule the day before. When dropping me at the airport he never said one word. Other than the shuttle driver it was a great stay.

I had a lot of things I didn't care about, but overall - it was a nice place to stay and hang out with business friends and I'd go there again in a heartbeat. What I liked: nice staff who were patient and competent. Loved the bar area after work to meet with friends - good drinks and great service. I enjoy the Aloft rooms and amenities. What I didn't like: the mini tv on a huge wall (40" measured). The early reservation, early checkin and crazy loyalty points didn't mean anything for the bad room selection. VERY noisy thru the door. At 3:00am heard everyone trying to get to their early flights. Doors with self closing so cranked up that they SLAMMED whenever anyone left their room. I'd recommend going, but bring ear-plugs and no need to do early checkin: it won't matter.

- lilirishstar (8/5): Good stay - Aloft is a good airport hotel. The rooms are very minimalistic but comfortable and it’s near the airport and they have a complimentary shuttle. We stayed here the night before our flight and took advantage of their $50 parking during our trip. Check in was easy, but we got there late and left early, so didn’t get to use any other services or interact with any other staff members. The only complaint I had, and this goes for all Alofts, is that the shower head is too close to the wall, I nearly had to lean into the shower products, which BTW are mounted way to high, to get my whole body under the water stream. And I’m not that wide (and I’m fairly tall).

- B6244GKkimberlyc (2/5): Horrendous Experience - Stay Far Away From This Property - Absolutely horrendous experience dealing with the manager and assistant manager at this property. My connecting flight to Cleveland was cancelled and I was stuck in Dallas overnight. This hotel refused to grant a one-time courtesy exception and cancel my reservation, even though I’ve stayed at Marriott hotels more than 40 nights per year for the last 20 years and have never before canceled a reservation. I lost my points used to book the reservation, which made my entire bad travel day that much worse. This property obviously does not care about maintaining a relationship with its guests. You’re just a number and can expect zero customer service here. Stay far away.

Very convenient location with easy access to the highway there’s a great restaurant right next door, plenty of parking. A little on the pricey side for basically a lay over hotel. Area appears to be very clean and safe

The staff was exceptional at the desk was Mila,Evelina, Leisha,….these ladies were most helpful and polite in every way….William my driver was wonderful and a pleasure to chat with I had a lot of heavy luggage. Elaine handle our beverage and lunch at our meeting today and she was delightful and friendly. Janelle was our sales rep and she even assisted with making sure our meeting went flawless along with serving lunch. We stopped in the restaurant/bar and our first night greeted by Kyarra and she helped us with directions and things to do in the area…. She also stood out helpful in every way….. employees at this property enjoy what they do and they are the reason companies and travelers return…..thank you…. A job well done
- Douglass (8/5): - Has a neat vibe, but the room setup was not practical. The shower was slippery. The sliding door between the toilet and the sink was annoying as hell. The rooms were not quiet. Breakfast situation was lame.

- Brien (10/5): - This hotel was conveniently located from the highway and was close in proximity to a lot of shopping and restaurants. The room was spacious, and the staff was very friendly.

- michael (10/5): - Everything is in order. A good rate it’s the next door as well. Best is 24 hour bus to airport.
