The fitness center was good. At check-in I got a gift bag with water/popcorn. There were photos of a swimming pool but the property did not have one. I had issues connecting to the Wi-Fi. My room had an odd odor

The breakfast was delicious & there was a great variety. The rooms are small, but the space is used quite efficiently. There is no microwave in the room, but there are a couple downstairs.

The floors were sticky and Pauline was very rude from Housekeeping. We’ve stayed at other Tru hotels and this one didn’t impress us the way the others have.

• Rebecca (9/5): I like the hotel and would book again! - I like the way space in the room is used. Quiet fridge. Window shade options. Room temp control. Room seems fresh, no odd odors. Very functional guest friendly lobby. Excellent staff interactions. Good location for me. The elevators and how they are functioning with floor stops is a mystery. They seem to take a long time to arrive and a lot of "back and forth" noise is heard while waiting.

• Boyd (10/5): Tru Tallahassee - Room was nice. Liked having the small fridge and a nice rolling chair. Shower and the bathroom soaps, etc. were really nice too. Really enjoyed having coffee and hot tea available in the lobby all the time too. Enjoyed the yogurt, fruit and nuts for breakfast and the small pastries as well. Good choices in the market saved us a trip or two for snacks. Everything was good for us.

Nice decor, looked clean and smelled clean (elevators, hallways, and our room)! The location was great. Close proximity to local stores, cafes, shopping, and our daughter at FSU. We did not eat breakfast at this facility so I cannot comment on it. Customer service was great and the manager assisted us with one issue we had. The mattress was so hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. Laying on my back = back hurt. Laying on my sides = hips hurt. The pillows looked soft and fluffy, but the minute you laid your head down it was like a deflating tire. Once deflated the pillows were like sleeping on hard clothing. The fridge didn't work and we lost a lot of food! But the manager assisted us with credit for what we lost which was very nice.
• Susan (4/5): WE were disappointed at the price we had to pay for the decent room but lack of comfort features. - the breakfast was very good....we were there shorlty before 9am and food was still warm and very good. The room was clean and quiet. The lighting in the bathroom was very dim and impossible to see things like putting on makeup and fixing hair. There was one plastic chair in the room for 2 of us...........hard to have a relaxing game of cards when one of us had to sit on the edge of the bed after a long, tiring day of traveling.

• Brooke (10/5): Excellent - It was clean. It had a really cute garden in front with all herbs and like lettuce and peppers. It was really cute. Inside was clean and had nice variety of snacks. The woman who checked the sand did a ghost hunt where we looked for these little ghost to my kids thought it was adorable And then you won prizes of candy. Really cute idea.

• Monta (7/5): While it was pleasant, it didn’t provide the level of relaxation I had anticipated. - The location and staff were very nice. I appreciated how promptly the staff addressed my concerns. The atmosphere was unusually noisy, filled with an array of sounds that seemed to echo in every corner. Despite my hopes for a peaceful rest, the constant commotion made it impossible to relax. The chatter of voices, the rustling of nearby activity, and the distant clatter of objects created a chaotic symphony that disrupted my thoughts and kept me wide awake.

Breakfast, especially the pancakes, was delicious. Coffee 24/7 was a plus! We traveled with a large dog, and there was easy outside access and well lighted areas to walk. We didn't have any issues.
