- Lorna (7/5): No major issues, clean and great private beach. - The hotel has 3 pools to choose from and nice common areas. Spacious clean rooms with good air conditioning. Staff where friendly and helpful. The private beach is only a small walk from the rooms which is great to switch between beach and pool with ease. The sunsets on the private beach are gorgeous. Pool could do with a clean as some scum marks round the edges in shaded ares of the pool, overall the pool is really clean. Breakfast wasn't amazing but had some options. The takeaway box breakfast provided had no choice and only included a sandwich and a banana, requested to swap banana as i can't eat them but I was told this couldn't be done. We also ate in the resteraunt and the food was a little underwhelming compared to all the other food we ate on the trip, with an extremely small chips portion however we had opted for a more western dish on this night, so maybe the more traditional food would be better.

- Molly (8/5): Beautiful accomodation in a beautiful spot - The accomodation was beautiful with 3 pools and a private beach. A restaurant with really yummy food overlooked the beach as well. Big rooms and always clean. Asked for them to put a happy birthday sign on the bed and they did and it looked amazing. We didn’t mind walking but it takes about 20 mins to go into town. Would definitely come back! The only negative point is that you need to make sure you use the safe. This information was provided to us upon arrival but silly us, we didn’t listen. One of us had money stolen from their wallet when the cleaners came in and we had persistently told them we didn’t want cleaning. Staff at reception were so lovely about it even though there was nothing they could do.

- Christine (10/5): We had a great time and will definitely be back. - Excellent location. Close to the market an restaurants. Plenty of car parking. Beaches are quiet. The swim up pool room was fantastic. Outstanding breakfasts, the best we had whilst on holiday. The beach is not the best, by any means. But we knew that coming in and had no intention of spending a long time at the hotel beach. There are so many amazing beaches with restaurants in the area, that we went to a new beach every day. However, if you choose to stay at the hotel, there are no shortage of sun loungers and the restaurant is right there.

Food in restaurant good quality and s - Beautiful little hotel tucked away 5-10 min stroll into main strip and right opposite the beach staff are absolutely delightful and so accommodating. Breakfast was lush and we stayed a few days and evenings for lunch and dinner. Rooms were cleaned we had 2 rooms for the family out room was slightly older but all had same space and spec we got a swim up room which was lovely facilities overall quite basic but when staying here there so much to do you don’t stay at the pool/hotel all day for your whole holidays as we were off exploring most days but there’s days we did stay around the pool it was peaceful and relaxing.

Nous n’avons pas eu la chambre que nous avions réservé. Dans la chambre qu’ils nous ont donné à la place, l’odeur des égouts sortait constamment de la douche donc la salle de bains puait tout le temps…

- Monika (9/5): - Der Bungalow war schön, auch wenn schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Einrichtung war ansprechend. Der Meerblick war da und wir haben viel Zeit auf der schattigen Terrasse verbracht. War schon ein Wohlfühlort. Hinten am Bungalow ging die Straße vorbei und es war daher teilweise relativ laut. Noch dazu war direkt über die Straße ein Pool, der leider einmal Schauplatz einer Poolparty war. Nach unserer Beschwerde kam das allerdings nicht mehr vor. Der Strand war eigenartig, konnte nur über eine Treppe erreicht werden und war auf drei Seiten von hohen Betonmauern begrenzt. Er hatte etwas bunkerartiges. Allerdings konnte man auf der rechten Seite bei Ebbe endlos am Ufer entlang gehen.

Bra lugnt läge med gångavstånd till huvudgatan med många trevliga restauranger.

The food in the restaurant was delicious; we were satisfied with everything we ordered from the menu. My only criticism is the breakfast: it was repetitive and the selection was small. The cold breakfast, however, was terrible—all six of us threw it away the first time, so the next day we just left it at reception. And the center is far on foot.

- Veronika (7/5): Das Bungalow mit Meersicht ( und Sicht auf Restaurant und Liegestühle) war gut. - Schöne Bungalows mit Meerblick und toller Dusche. Das Restaurant mit Blick aufs Meer ist sehr schön; das Essen ist sehr gut und preiswert. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Frühstück ist ok, könnte aber etwas abwechslungsreicher sein. Die Rezeption befindet sich auf der anderen Strassen-Seite beim grossen Pool. Für 50 Baht gibt es um 18 Uhr einen Shuttle zum Markt und zu den Restaurants; zu Fuss sind es etwa 20 Minuten ins Zentrum. - Der Wasserdruck in der Dusche ist eher schwach. - Auf der Wiese vor den Sea-View-Bungalows stehen viele Liegestühle, bis wenige Meter vor die Bungalows und bis zur Mauer am Meer – das wird in den Hotelbildern nicht gezeigt. !!! -Einige Werbebilder sind veraltet. - Das Foto mit Liegestühlen am Strand ist irreführend: Es gibt keinen Strand direkt vor dem Hotel. - Der nächste Strand ist etwa 300–500 m die Straße entlang. Ein kleiner Strand beim Restaurant ist nur bei Ebbe sichtbar und über eine Treppe erreichbar; bei Flut schlägt das Wasser direkt gegen die Mauer vor der Liegewiese. Uns hat der Strand gefehlt, zum Morgenspaziergang oder die Möglichkeit am Strand essen zu gehen.

- Marianne (9/5): Flott resort med et fantastisk personale! - Imøtekommende og hyggelig personale, helt ok pris og utvalg i restauranten. Ca 12 min å gå til hovedområdet med masse butikker, restauranter og en 7/11. 3 min i motsatt retning er det en større strand hvor man kan leie solstol og parasoll for 100 baht pr stk inkludert en flaske vann. Litt slitt, og for mye klor i bassengene.

Frühstück ist ausbaufähig. 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Seven Eleven und zu einem Gebiet mit guter Auswahl an Restaurants. Dort gibt es auch Geldwechselstuben. Am Meer gibt es ausreichend Liegen. Tolle Poollandschaft. Der Strandabschnitt war nicht schön. Leider kein Wäscheständer auf dem Balkon.
- Armen (9/5): - I was looking for this area of Khao Lak because it was 15 minutes from the market and all the amenities, but I was worried about Ayara Villas because I knew the hotel wasn't big and I'd booked a regular room, not a beach villa. In the end, I liked everything. The hotel has not large area on the first and second lines, a private beach with sunbeds. Breakfast was in the restaurant on the beach; it was delicious and varied. We needed parking because we were driving. Our room was large, with a shower and bathroom. Everything worked perfectly, and there were no odors. The bed was very large and comfortable! I'd especially like to thank the staff. As soon as we arrived, manager Ghoi at reception greeted us warmly and showed us around. She was very welcoming, which is really touching! The service at the hotel is very high-quality and good. For my wife's birthday, the staff decorated the bed and room with flowers! It was very nice! This isn't a 5-star hotel, but the price/quality of service is excellent! I recommend this hotel for a holiday in Khao Lak! no

The restaurant of the hotel is good and not overpriced, plus you get the sea view. Private beach is small but never crowded (we went in February). - Anne (6/5): Disappointing and poor value. - The pools were good. It seemed a bit shabby. No kitchenette would be better. You need to use this space for hanging space and suitcases. The shower and toilet and sink areas were all sub standard for the price paid. The sink, loo and shower should all be in one bathroom. No privacy if you use the sink. We felt the management needs to reinvest in the property. It’s a pity the beach is so unattractive.
- Tina (10/5): Wunderschöne Anlage zu einem ganz tollen Preis - Die Villa mit Meerblick war wunderschön, einfach perfekt. Kleiner Strand vor dem Hotel, aber nur ein paar Meter weiter gibt es einen wunderschönen weitläufigen Sandstrand zum Spielen und spazieren. Personal total freundlich, 3 Pools, super für Kinder, Restaurant beim Hotel bietet fabelhaftes Essen! Lage ist nicht ganz optimal, man braucht für alles ein Taxi, Hotel bietet Shuttleservice an für 50 Bath pro Person.

Also, in the shower and in the rooms there are stairs that you can easily trip over without noticing. Also, for any external service like a taxi or a trip that I tried to book through the hotel, they tried to charge me double the usual price.

- Uwe (9/5): erholsamer Aufenthalt in gutem Hotel mit direkter Strandlage - Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und gut. Die Lage des Hotels mit eigenem kleinen Strand ist toll. Die Liegewiese, die Pools und der Service entsprechen auch gehobenen Ansprüchen. Es gibt jeden Tag kostenlos Wasser in Glasflaschen auf das Zimmer. Die Fotos auf der Webseite sind teilweise sicher mehrere Jahre alt
- Jukka (9/5): Ihana paikka, johon varmasti palataan :) - Kokonaisuus oli erittäin hyvä. Huoneet ja ympäristö pidettiin hyvin siisteinä, allasalueella oli yleensä aina tilaa, eikä siellä ollut ikäviä ”pyyhevarauksia” aurinkotuoleihin. Aamupala oli hyvä ja kattava. Iltapäiväkahvi/tee päivittäin oli mukava lisä palveluihin. Hotellin oma ranta plussaa. Huoneessa oma, edullinen minibaari + vettä hotellin puolesta tuotiin päivittäin. Rantapyyhkeitä koko ajan käytössä ja vaihdettavissa. Huoneet ja yleiset alueet pienen päivityksen tarpeessa, mutta ei suuresti vaikuttanut oleskeluun. Ranta-alueella ikävää ”pyyhevarausta” aurinkotuoleihin heti aamusta.

Des couchers de soleil sympa en profitant du happy hour en sirotant un cocktail... petit dej top aussi et face a la mer c est toujours un luxe. On a testé la petite piscine super sympa au calme Rien.

En plus de la plage, l’hôtel bénéficie de 3 belles piscines, et d’un restaurant vraiment super en bord de mer. Tout le monde était adorable, aux petits soins! Tout était parfait

- Bianca (2/5): Enttäuschend.. - Gute Lage, sonst leider nichts Wir haben schon lange zwei Zimmer mit Poolzugang gebucht. Uns wurde vorher geschrieben, dass beide Zimmer nicht bewohnbar sind wegen des starken Regens. Das Zimmer wird repariert und wir können 1Tag später unsere Zimmer haben und müssten für eine Nacht im Nachbarshotel schlafen. Bei der Anreise wurde uns das auch nochmal fix bestätigt, dass wir am nächsten Tag in die gebuchten Zimmer könnem. In der Früh bekamen wir dann einen Zettel vor unsere Türe, darauf stand dass wir die Zimmer nicht bekommen weil die Reparatur nicht fertig wird. Uns wurde ein "Upgrade" angebotem, welches für uns KEIN Upgrade war. Wir waren stinksauer und haben mit dem Hotelmanager gesprochen und da hat er erst nach langer Zeit zugegeben, dass er überbucht sei. Danach haben wir uns mit dem Moped auf die Suche nach einer anderen Unterkunft gemacht. Wir bekamen das Geld von den zusätzlichen Nächten zurück. Das könnte man einfach schon vor dem Urlaub die Wahrheit sagen, damit wir vor dem Urlaubsantritt auf eine andere Unterkunft umbuchen können und uns den Ärger ersparen können. Der Strand ist auch nicht schön! Wir kommen nie wieder.
- Thomas (8/5): Klasse Lage, Klasse Restaurant und Meerzugang. - Im Restaurant sehr lecker, unser Flugzeug hatte Verspätung und trotz dem hat man extra auf uns gewartet, falls wir etwas essen wollten. Das ist echt einmalig. Danke noch mal dafür. Die Anlage ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, es müsste vieles renoviert und erneuert werden.

- Ute (3/5): Hier stimmt preis-Leistung und die Bewertungen leider nicht - Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Für die Silvesterfeier haben sie sich echt Mühe gegeben. Das lauter betrunkene Schweden hier waren kann das hotel nix dafür Wir hatten eine tropical Villa gebucht. Untergebracht waren wir wir in einem reihenbungalow mit 3 weiteren Einheiten und entschuldigung, aber betrunken Schweden. Das einzige tropicalfeeling das aufkam waren die Moskitos. Der Strand ist eine eingepferchter 20 Meter langes Ding. Auch wir haben vorher die Bewertungen gelesen und deshalb das hotel gebucht. Vergessen Sie bitte was da drin steht. Wir haben über 200 Euro für die Nacht bezahlt. Das war in den 5 Wochen das teuerste hotel. Und glauben Sie mir, das hat mit Thailand nix zu tun. Es ist fest in schwedischer Hand. Das einzige wahre bei den Bewertungen ist das in 300 Meter auf der rechten Seite eine puplic Strand ist wo man liegen mieten kann und sehr gut essen kann. Der ist wirklich schön.
