- Andrea (10/5): Would defo recommend - Fabulous place. Location great N/A
- Kirsten (10/5): Stayed for our son’s wedding, very clean well stocked chalet, also perfect for people with mobility issues. Great place - Immaculately clean, warm and well stocked. Views were beautiful. It was all perfect
- joe (8/5): Quiet, rural, comfy, home from home, and yes we would return - Great location, rural but just minutes from Sunny Dunny! Everything in the Chalet you could ask for, very quiet, great for disabled guests. No satellite tv, but not a big problem
- Elizabeth (10/5): Beautiful accessible property: clean and spacious with unbeatable views. - Just come back from an incredible stay at The Chalet and can’t rate it highly enough. The place was spacious, super clean and beautifully decorated. There were lots of accessibility features for disabled guests that had clearly been well thought-through and were much appreciated. The location is INCREDIBLE - views for miles and there was so much to explore in the local area (so many castles!), and it was all so peaceful. Hosts left us a little welcome package on arrival too which was much appreciated. We can’t wait to go back.
- Liz (10/5): Fabulous Short Break - Great location with a lovely view. Will definately be returning & would recommend to Friends & family. Everything was perfect
- C (10/5): Great place, Lovely people will defo be returning. - Everything it was clean, well equipped and the location was quiet and peaceful just what a city family needs to unwind we will definitely be coming back. The hosts was amazing and accommodating. One lady kept coming along and seeing if all was ok and asking if we needed anything. Nothing was one of the best places we have ever stayed.
- Ross (10/5): -
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - The location was stunning, super easy to access local amenities, the chalet was well equipped and stocked with everything we needed for a great stay. Saying hello to the cows was a brilliant bonus. The host was very easy to contact and absolutely lovely. We would love to come back and stay there.
- Deborah (10/5): Fabulous place and everything accessible - Perfect for my elderly mum - bathroom ideal, electric bed and a riser recliner chair in the stunning living room. Amazing sea views, wonderful bathtub and fabulous kitchen.
- Peter-jan (10/5): Superb ! - The Chalet is enormous for 2 persons. The welcoming gift with milk, eggs, bread and cakes was so nice. Kitchen fully equipped. 2 bathrooms of which 1 is a wet-room. Very nice. Breathtaking view towards Dunbar and the North Sea. Very friendly and helpful owners. Just a little tip : some foldable deck chairs on the deck. So you can move around to sit in the sun. The outdoor table and benches combined was to heavy to move and was in the shade all day this time of year.
- Allison (10/5): dunbar december - everything. we have been to the other cabin twice before and would not hesitate to return to either of them. nothing
- Graeme (10/5): Exceptional -

- Calzy (10/5): Exceptional - The size was great and the interior was immaculate. Fantastic view and a 5 min drive or taxi to Dunbar. Was all good
- Lucy (8/5): Very good -
- Julie (10/5): Another pleasant visit to this hidden gem. - The chalet is in a delightful location, with sea views on a clear day. Easy access to main roads, local town centre and out of town attractions.
This was a return visit to the chalet as my grandson had really enjoyed staying there before. Kay messaged me with instructions of where to find the keys and left us with some tasty delights to enjoy. The eggs could not have been fresher, the bread and biscuits delicious. This place is great, clean and with all the facilities you could wish for. Only a knife sharpener would be a welcome addition! It was a bit of a challenge chopping up meat and vegetables with the knives provided.
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional, comfortable, spacious, beautiful. - Property was so big and spacious. Area is quiet and peaceful. Little extra included from owners really appreciated (washing tablets, bread, fresh eggs, milk, dish washer tablets). Exceptional property, can't wait to book again on my next visit to Scotland. We loved everything
- David (8/5): Great cozy long weekend retreat. - Lovely spacious & clean & warm chalet, with necessities already supplied like milk, teabags, bread etc, easing the need to find a late night shop after a long journey travelling up from South Wales. Perfect for our family. Easy location from access routes, making it easy to plan days out. Plenty of space outdoor for children to have a run about. A very friendly and welcoming host.
Will definitely visit again. TV connections already damaged, so unable to plug in my Amazon fire stick to keep kids entertained when outdoors isn't an option or to watch a movie of our choice at night with the family.
- Pauline (10/5): Home from home. - Spotlessly clean. Excellent facilities for disabled. Nothing negative to say at all.
- Alison (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sm (10/5): Exceptional - The location is brilliant. It took us about £10 - £11 from Dunbar station by taxi. It took £17 - £18 to East Links family park by taxi.
The view from the location is superb. The sea view is stunning.
The location is inside the farm. We saw rabits running around. Also the horses and sheep.
The host is wonderful. They were in laws. So much helpful and made us feel valued.
The Chalet itself is great. Such spacious and clean. From tea, sugar or bread to eggs, cooking oil or coffee, everything was there. We felt this Chalet is a wonderful holidah place for kids and special need people due to it's openness.
We have been there for three nights and we didn't have car. Staying inside the Chalet due to rain all day long wasn't boring at all. The Chalet has DVD player and indoor games like Chess, Ludo, cards etc.
Overall, we liked staying here and will surely go back in summer again. Because in the clear warm day, this place would be the best place for vacation. We couldn't find anything that we didn't like. However, as a customer, I think it was value for money. But getting discount would be great for future.
- Alexandra (8/5): Great space to relax in and close to shops and transport links if you drive. - The location was convenient as it was just a short drive into Dunbar where you can find good shops and the train which can take you into Edinburgh. It has lovely views towards the sea and feels spacious and is comfortable and there is plenty of seating for relaxing and dining. Great to have dishwasher tablets, washing liquid, hand soap, tea towels etc. Spacious decking area with seating and a bbq. Sadly it wasn’t warm enough for us to use but in the summer would be lovely. The sign greeting us on the door referred to Covid 19 and asked that the beds were stripped on leaving and for the bedding to be placed in the bins provided and put outside. I really don’t think it should be necessary and referring to Covid is not something we need to be reminded of. The heating went off and on contacting the host they said it was a hive system so put it back on. (They mentioned previous guests had locked it before so they kept the control) The heating was then turned on remotely and we had no control over the temperature or if we wanted the heating on or off. I have never been anywhere where there is no control over the temperature! It was either cold or hot so not ideal. The batteries in remote controls for tv and dvd player didn’t appear to work. There were spare batteries in a drawer but these also didn’t work. The tarmac cement factory is about .5 of a mile away and the ‘smoke/steam’ is a permanent fixture in the landscape. You could tell the wind direction looking at it.
- Robert (9/5): Very comfortable chalet, clean and spacious. - One of the best self-catering facilities I have stayed at. Very comfortable, The central heating was pretimed by the host and was fine for our requirements. A nice welcome pack with bread, coffee, tea, milk, and eggs was provided - but ASDA only 2 miles away. Lots of space, excellent light, very clean and very comfortable beds. Impressed how well it was equipped for disabled guests. Although placed on a farm, I didn't hear work start until 8am, The car needed a good wash after trailing up and down the farm track several times. Although our stay was very pleasant the rating could move from superb to exceptional if a few things were addressed.
The frying pan and wok need replaced. No kitchen utensils like spatula, large spoon provided, No dishwasher tablets in welcome pack, no pepper, no mirror beside a wall socket for hair/makeup (bathroom mirrors aren't ideal for this). No body wash/shampoo provided (we had our own but?) Bath towels a little on the small side, only one bin in the property - no waste baskets in bathroom. No ice cube tray in freezer. no vinegar and oil in cupboard. All of these might seem minor but even if a few were addressed it would make an exceptional holiday let
- Steve (9/5): A great relaxing time in beautiful scenery. - Property had plenty of space and was well presented. Everything was clean and tidy. Excellent views of fields and hills. Nothing. Not a bad word to say about it.
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pauline (10/5): Comfortable, very clean, welcome goodies, everything provided and like a home from home -
- Asbury (10/5): Excellent - Wonderful spacious chalet in a great location.
The chalet was spotlessly clean and well equipped and the beds were comfortable. The chalet also has a bath which was a great feature for us as our son (who has a learning disability) doesn't like a shower.
The chalet also has excellent facilities for disabled guests including a wet room and low level work tops
We had a lovely time here and would definitely like to return.
- Leanne (10/5): Would stay here again and again! - Absolutely everything. Nothing
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing chalet, peaceful location. Little out the way but great base location.
- Alan (10/5): Incredible stay. Kids absolutely loved it - they loved visiting the animals and the freedom of running around the field. - Love the space, the view, the welcome of hosts. All fantastic!
- Fiona (10/5): A perfect holiday location for all the family. - The property was perfect , spacious, well equiped and very clean. A lovely welcome pack with ground coffee, eggs and lovely bread was there on our arrival. Our hosts were friendly checking everything was ok for us and showing us around the farm, our 3 year old grandson loved feeding the pigs and seeing the animals . He also loved being able to cycle and play in the well tended grass area just in front of the Chalet . Perfect for a kickabout. We were happy with everything so we have nothing to write here.
- Vineet (8/5): Very good -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emma (10/5): Lovely holiday home - Lovely accommodation, nice open space, quiet area N/A
- Edgar (9/5): Superb -
- Tibor (10/5): Fantastic Holiday Chalet - Very well equipped, modern and comfortable holiday home in beautiful surroundings, offered by a very kind and friendly family 🌞 The nearby factory is quite dusty - of course nothing can be done about that. It's a pity that some previous guests broke the TV's HDMI connections.
- Fay (10/5): Perfect few days with family and friends - So peaceful. Excellent place for someone with mobility issues
- Patrick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christina (10/5): Beautiful chalet in a lovely location - Great size and facilities. The location was great, literally just off the A1. Great value for money. The shower in the master bedroom didn’t work too well but there was a shower in the main bathroom so it didn’t bother us.
- Debra (10/5): Exceptional - We loved everything about our stay here. Nice & spacious & lovely views
- Lynne (10/5): Perfect break for all our needs. - everything great location, cosy, great views and exceptional staff. nothing
- William (9/5): Superb -
