Guest Reviews
- Niamh (1/5): - We could not access the building an had to find alternative accommodation. With three children it is most unsettling and very disappointing
- Velin (7/5): -
- David (8/5): Good value for money in the city centre, a 5min walk to some great pubs and more than 10mins from the city Hall -
- Martyn (5/5): It was ok - Good location to the city centre Some friends stayed on the floor below with another booker and paid a lot less but got lots of extras like a welcome pack of water, bread and eggs
- Grieve (7/5): -
- Gaming (10/5): -
- Nicolle (1/5): I didn’t stay walked in took photos and left. Called booking.com to cancel - The place was dirty, mouldy and bedding stained
Refund was a joke

- Leah (4/5): Although it’s close to the city centre I would not stay here again especially as a group of girls we felt very unsafe ev - It was in a good location just near the city The area felt a bit unsafe, no lock on the door for the balcony the fridge selves were tapped on.
The pin pad to enter the build is not working at all took us more than 20 minutes to enter the building late at night was very panicked as no worker around to help us get in. While trying to get in multiple strange men try to approach us, was very unsettled and not having direct access into the building and no lock on the balcony door was not helping it, when we arrived home our balcony door was wipe open.
- Michelle (7/5): For the money we paid and the location its ok - The location was brilliant Needs some updating and a deep clean, on the surfaces looks ok however on closer inspection the place is a bit filthy
- Rochna (1/5): Don’t Stay Here. - Hated it. We were travelling with kids for 2. Ight and wanted somewhere safe and clean to sleep and shower before we head out for the day. Unfortunately we experienced lots of issues and tried to call the owner but never got through. Phone disconnected. Contacted booking.com who also couldn’t get in touch with the owner. Issues were as follows.
1.No hot water. See video of blinking Boiler warning light.
2. The shower head was unsuitable. We needed to have a very quick cold shower as we hadn't for over 2 days. See pictures and video of shower shooting water over the floor on the other end of the bath.
3.No locks / keys for the windows. Apartment is on the 5th floor. We were travelling with 4-year old and 7-year-old kids. See picture of kids' bed next to wide open window. It was a warm august night so Risk of fall very high.
4.Broken toaster. We couldn't have breakfast in the morning.
5.There was also no washing liquid or sponge provided.
6. Bunch of hair left in plant in bathroom
7. Dirty sticky floor and disgusting carpet with lots of stains.
8. Dodgy area with lots of empty warehouse buildings and no Lights. Walking back from dinner was very scary.
I’m kicking myself for not checking the tripadvisor review of this place before booking. It was a very last minute decision and a complete disaster.
- Owen (10/5): - Good location and very clean Bit of a weird smell next door
- Papa (9/5): - The neatness and the location, and all the facilities are on the spot. N/A

- Tom (9/5): -
- Ahmad S (1/5): - Nothing was as expected 1. The stove was not working
2. Key locker code was sent 40 minutes
3. Basin mixer was just rubbish
4. Bed sheet were not cleaned
5. Contact number was not reachable
6. The soffa need to be replaced
7. Communication was the worst where no body was responding
8. Check in rules were not accurate and got the late time of 40 minutes
9. The apartment front is too dangerous for small kids and could not let them walk free while going out
10. Deposit of 250£ was not so pleasant to pay while waiting for the door key locker
- Erdem (6/5): Pleasant -
- Declan (1/5): awful - nothing i liked at all This was a dismal experience. I thought we had booked a penthouse but it was not, it was a low grade aprtment.

- Joanne (10/5): Comfortable, perfect location ,great stay, thanks - Gorgeous apartment, great location and owner so helpful. Nothing
- Bahar (7/5): Good - Location and value for money There’s no direct communication, like some of the things were not clear . They asked for deposit after booking the property. The phone number they have given on the website is not a valid number when you call it doesn’t work
However I got back the deposit on the same day of checkout.that’s was good .
- Kieran (10/5): Exceptional -
- Annalise (3/5): Horrible - Beds were comfy. Property wasn’t cleaned, had other guests food in cupboards and items that have other bodily fluids on left on the kitchen worktops, mould in the bath/ bath mat, no cleaning products ie washing up liquid and to top it all off behind the main bedrooms painting someone had graffitied Nazi symbols and supportive comments behind.
As a group of 3 girls we felt unsafe due to the state the property was handed to us in to the point we had to put a chair in front of the entrance so we would hear if anyone tried entering.
The outside of the property should have been properly advertised as the walk ways were very small, horrible for anyone scared of heights or drops.
Would have been a lovely place to stay if there wasn’t so many problems.
I have emailed the company with photos attached.
- Sandra (5/5): Passable - Apartment was in good location close to city centre Cleaning standard was poor. It was very evident the cleaners do bare minimum . A kettle for example was covered in cooking oil from God knows when and inside there was gunk .
- Hughes (7/5): Good - The apartments are in a great situation just outside of the city centre. The apartments are clean and tidy and very comfortable. The apartment block was dated but was secure. I advised the company that I had booked two apartments for 6 people but only towels provided for 2 per apartment.
- Amelia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jones (1/5): Do not stay here , it’s a health and safety nightmare - The property was dirty and items broken throughout and it’s a dangerous for anyone who stays there and we had to leave within hours of being there and NO REFUND and NO HELP FROM BOOKING.COM !!!!!!
- Beatrice (10/5): A good, clean and cheap central apartment. - First of all, the location of the property. We were smack bang in the city centre, 5/10 minute walk from most places. The place itself was nice, it did the job for the 4 of us. There were 2 single beds, one double bed and a pull out couch. There was free Wi-Fi in the apartment. We were able to control the heating too. Overall it was a really good experience and unreal value for money. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.
- John (5/5): Passable - Great location with easy access and friendly staff. Very dated building and apartment and very strong smoking smell throughout It's no Penthouse, but value for money.
- Josh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ramonchito (8/5): Very good -
- Tom (8/5): Very good -
- Philip (1/5): There was blood in the lift! - The location. That's literally the only good thing about this place. There was blood smeared on the buttons for the lift! The lift then opens up into an apartment block that looks like a dystopian movie set. So much in the apartment is broken, handles came off the doors, the bed swallows you whole because it has no support. The shower barely works. All of the images on the website are either from completely different appartments or VERY selectively taken. The code they gave us for the front door didn't work. We had to be let in by someone in the building. Luckily once we were in we got keys that worked for the front door. The building felt very unsafe and run down. AGAIN THERE WAS BLOOD IN THE LIFT!
- Jason (8/5): Very good - Very nice inside Outside didn't look great
- Kevin (6/5): Pleasant -
- Alan (7/5): Good -
- Henrique (9/5): Superb -
- Kev (1/5): Freezing cold. Made to purchase two apartments. Everyone had to cram together in one apt. Contacted titan but no reply - Hi. I need to make a complaint. I booked a stay at this address for two nights. As there was 6 of us I was made to purchase two apartments. Firstly there wasn’t enough blankets to go around everyone of us but that isn’t the issue. There was no heat in one of the apartments to the point we could see our breath. We checked the gas meter outside and the landlord obviously didn’t tip up the gas as there was no units. We all had to cram into one apartment. There was also no hot water during the whole stay. I want a refund. Can someone contact me asap. Hi I need to make a complaint Hi. I need to make a complaint. - Romcn (5/5): Passable -
- Owen (7/5): Good - The location and view from the apartment was fantastic, and the rooms were prepared like an authentic hotel. The room was clean. The rest of the building outside of the apartment is very aged. The directions to access the building were hard to find.
- Arianna (8/5): Very good - The apartment was comfortable, clean great location and safe. Nothing to dislike
- Mohamedelfatih (4/5): Disappointing - Location Everything is so cheap
- Marfe (7/5): Good -
- Donna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kyle (9/5): Superb -
- Stuart (5/5): Passable - Location and ease of checking in Cleanliness
- Carter (9/5): Perfect for a weekend in Belfast! - Great apartments! Super close to the pubs and restaurants. Right across from a bar called the sunflower, that was great! Exactly what we needed for a couple of nights in Belfast. The only issue we experienced was the boiler not working in one of the apartments. This was quickly fixed by the team and we were left a couple of bottles of Prosecco by them!
- Oladele (5/5): Passable - Nothing about the place The fact that the apartment is general building in local street
- Stephen (1/5): The place is not what it states a Penthouse apartment nope HORRIBLE - Nothing
- Mary (6/5): I don’t know why the negative reviews. For the price it was super. Very central, clean bed with clean bathroom and to - The Location was central It was a bit grubby outside and the inside could do with a proper clean ie doors and light switch areas. It would be better if it was clear that they take a £300 sterling refundable deposit before they give you access code. You only find out this on the day before and no time to book elsewhere. It’s a lot of money to take and people might not have it. It’s written in small print but this could be missed. I missed it.
- Sarah (2/5): I booked this property via booking.com for myself and 2 friends for 2 nights in Belfast for a “girls’ trip”. The locatio - It was spacious and had a good location. It was filthy, the key pad to enter was broken, the lift was broken, it felt and looked unsafe. The phone number for the owners don’t pick up at any time of the day.
- Laura (6/5): Pleasant -
- Noreen (4/5): Great area, spacious apartment, bedding and TV needs updating - owner does not communicate wth you. - It was in a great location opposite a great pub, walking distance to the city We could not access the building as we did not have the correct key safe code. So frustrating as we rang (went straight to voice mail), emailed (ignored), messaged (ignored) them constantly with no response.
We finally booked alternative accommodation as it was getting very late.
We actually lost the money on the alternative accommodation through Booking.com as the money was not refunded even though we did not use that accommodation.
Titan finally responded once we had contacted Booking.com.
I am still perplexed as I had to put an extra 250 British Pounds bond under Titan Living which I queried as that Web page was no longer working but when I contacted them they completely ignored all of our messages and phone calls.
The apartment looked nice but the beds had boards under them - they needed to be replaced, the TV did not work even after I bought new batteries for the remote. We kept getting messages about extra cleaning even though we were only staying 2 nights.
The whole things seemed very dodgy and I would hate anyone else to go through the stress that we had to endure.
- Saoirse (8/5): Disappointed on the lift being broke but over all the apartment it self was beter than expected it was clean and homely - We can booked this on the morning of going to belfast as somewere eles let me down that morning so i didnt know what to expect …everything is digital so if ur not technical minded or read emails this place is not for u ..no one meets u on arrival you receive an email with door code and instructions on how to get into the building this is not ur typical booking.com experience thank god i booked it through booking .com as this was how i communicated because the website chat did not respond the building is a bit worn down there is a lift ( check that this is working as during out stay it broke down ) and we stayed on the the 7th floor i didnt know what to expect at all but it was a bit rough looking . When i opened the door to the apartment i was pleasantly surprised it smelt clean it was very spacious and warm it has everything u need i stayed in 7E after a stressful time getting into the building the apartment was clean the only fault i have is one of the single bed is broke they do need replaced they should go to a charity shop and get then replaced even anything would be beter that a broken bed ..there is a comfy sofa and it feels homely dont get me wrong its no way the best place to stay in belfast but if u wanted somewere cosy in a middle of a bif of madness this is for you …the only down side for me was the lift it worked for once we got there but going out that night it was out of service which ment having to go down 14 flights of stairs everytime we went out ..knowing we had to carry everything up and down them stairs or even get food or leave the place at all it left dampner on leaving knowing u had to climb 14 flights of stairs each time my mother who was with us is 64 so it was not ideal this had happened and it left us not being able to leave as much as we would have liked The front door of the building the number one didnt work on the keyboard to get in ..the hall can be doing with a bit of paint ..being made aware that the lift was broke and maybe giving an other option to move lower down would have been ideal the lack of communication through the property chat was shit thank for god for booking .com and the fact its all through digital and no direct way to contact someone for help it poor customer service i know if my mammy or aunties came here without me they would not have gotten in i didnt like the fact the building looked like a stranded motel from the shinning but i have to say the apartment 7e was homely and clean the doors need a bit oil its they are really squeak and the single beds needs to be replaced this is building is located in a doggy looking ally way but i think it adds character to belfast the sunflower bar is opposite the building and its very cool bar i recommend going in
- Andrew (5/5): Does a short stay bit of a concrete jungle - Location It’s not a penthouse
- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tony (9/5): Superb -
- Cameron (10/5): Spot on - Good location, did the job perfectly for a group of lads Need more bedding for the sofa bed
- Samantha (7/5): Good -
- Andrew (1/5): Not accurate, not a penthouse. - This is not a penthouse. We were under the impression that booking "Library Square Penthouse" meant we would be staying in one. We were very unhappy to see a dated, 7th floor apartment with an entrance like something out of Judge Dredd or the Raid. There were crumbs and stains on the couch.
We were looking up at the penthouses. Very , very disappointing and we did not enjoy our stay.
The property owner
- Diane (4/5): Handy location, walking to city centre. - It was all about location.
I would not describe it as “penthouse” it was floor 5 of 8 in a tenant block with hydraulic rams holding the building up!! Difficult to access the apartment.
Difficult to find the codes to enter.
No one answers the phone.
Apartment was very tied.
Never before have we been asked to scan a photo id & credit card prior to getting access info.
- Stacey (2/5): Disgusting and too expensive, Never again - Absolutely nothing it was run down and not clean at all, there was half a roll of toilet roll for 5 people for 2 days, small towels, dirty fridge and oven. They charged £250 deposit then said we didn’t put the keys back in the lock box which we did. Wr need the mo eh back asap! Cleanliness, lack of toilet roll, dirty shower, oven, fridge. The list goes on. For the price of the accommodation plus the deposit money we feel like we were robbed!
- Roslyn (5/5): Passable -
- Kingsley (8/5): Very good -
- Nicola (10/5): Very comfortable stay that we thoroughly enjoyed. - Felt right at home, there was enough room for the 4 of us ladies. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. I have a medical condition that I struggle to regulate my body temperature, at first I was a bit worried when I initially arrived as I felt quite cold and thought the spacious area might be hard to heat but I was very pleasantly surprised how quickly the apartment heated when the heating was turned on. We met Jerry the maintenance guy from the block who was an absolute pleasure and a great help throughout our stay. The only thing which was trivial in the grand scheme of things and likely down to the previous occupants, when I went to cook breakfast the pans had food stuck to them, therefore I had to scrub all the pans and utensils before using them. Wasn’t a big deal but just something to check before new occupants.
- Aoife (4/5): Avoid. - Location was good. Not the nicest of areas. Locks/codes on gates were temperamental. Hot water was immersion based which we weren't informed of. Beds were half broken.
- Gerard (7/5): Thank you for a good stay overall. Our main issue was with the bathroom safety features. - Cleanliness and location was great. The lift to the apartment was great. The building supervisor was very nice. A quiet building which was also a bonus. The bathroom had no safety features in around the bath shower or toilet area. My husband could not have a shower as he has some mobility issues. I also found it difficult to climb into the bath myself as there were no safety grab handles and bath was fairly deep to climb into to use the shower. The only handle was on the glass shower door on the outside which didn't make sense to me. There was no safety mat for the bath. The toilet seat was broken when we arrived and this was also a safety issue for us as it was sliding all over the place. On a minor note egg cups would have been great. Susan
- James4211 (6/5): Needs a face-lift - The location. The apartment was not cleaned before we arrived. Previous gust items in both bedrooms and fridge/ freezer full of old food items. Just didn't give us a very clean feel to it. The bathroom is very dated and hot water was a nightmare to get working.
- Emma (1/5): Absolutely Awful - Nothing Upon arrival we were presented with the apartment that was pretty much derelict, rips in the dining chairs, broken cupboards in the kitchen, stains on bedroom carpet, bed sheets were clearly not fresh ones, living room lighting didn't work, the lamp was broken, the mattresses were probably about 20 years old and very uncomfortable. I had emailed on arrival with photos to back up and have still not yet had a reply, considering the description was penthouse apartments, this was certainly not the case, and for a large deposit and almost a £900 total cost for the 4 night stay, this was truly unacceptable for a family of 4. The bathroom shower was a not a shower as you could not stand under it, wallpaper off at the corners, cardboard used as a doorstop in the bedroom.
- Saoirse (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mason (1/5): Do not book - Nothing This property is described as a penthouse but it's more like a slum flat.
There was old food left in the freezer part of the fridge. There were marks and scratches on the floor and damage on the edge of the floor. One of the door handles was broken. The sofa bed sheet would not stay on the bed and as it's fake leather it was extremely uncomfortable.. There were flies on the windows.. The whole building internally looked like a prison.. There are pictures on TripAdvisor showing more. Unfortunately I didn't check it as booked in a hurry due to the sudden death of a relative
- Christopher (7/5): Good -
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (6/5): Apartment was very nice and comfortable - Email information was very good The electric sockets were substandard. The TV was poor with access to 5 channels only (none of the terrestrial channels)
The walkway around the apartments was open. I am scared of heights and had to cling to the walls to walk around to access the apartment. Also the outside of the apartments could do with a lick of paint to make them more attractive. I understand that not all the apartments are owned by the landlord so they are unable to control what goes on.
- David (2/5): Very poor standard apartment - Blood stains on the sheets and complete lack of communication from apartment managers to address the issue. I tried contacting them during my stay and not even any kind of acknowledgment.
Double doors on 8th floor wouldn't lock, genuine safety issue for kids
- Michael (3/5): Very disappointed - Wasn’t clean
4 beds but 3 duvets
Run down
Couldn’t get in touch with the staff to get checked in. Then they sent an email an hour after with check in details. No communication and wouldn’t answer calls or emails.
- Linda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phillip (8/5): Belfast - Great location. Easy to access. Apt is a bit dated but served its purpose.
- Nahid (5/5): Convenient - There was nothing outstanding about this property.. The actual building it looked like a prison cell
Didn’t feel safe as the entrance door was always open despite being giving a code for it. Difficult to find.. definitely doesn’t deserve the title penthouse
- Koch (8/5): Very good - Good Location, Size of the flat
- Maggie (8/5): SPACIOUS APARTMENT IN A COOL AREA - I was getting a bit nervous about the property because of some of the iffy reviews and how seedy it looks on Google Maps satellite, so I was pleasantly surprised to find a really nice, spacious, up to date, clean and smart apartment which was easy to get into and where everything worked (including the lift, in case you're worried about being on the 5th floor!). The view from the living room is great, the area is close to the Cathedral Quarter and a 20 minute walk away from the bus station. The area felt safe, the graffiti was really cool and the pub across the road has a great garden and does pizzas, although we didn't try them. The kitchen in the flat was great for cooking breakfast, which was all we did, and there was coffee tea, oil and condiments left over from previous occupants, which was pretty handy, and we left 3 toilet rolls! My bed was a bit lumpy but was better when we turned the mattress round. It would have been much better for us if the double had been another twin but the sofa bed was reasonably comfy. Never can understand why it's so hard to find twin beds in apartments. The shower could be better but it worked and was hot.
I didn't like paying the £250 deposit on a site outside of Booking.Com but I did get it back within 2 or 3 days. I found all their checking in and out emails/texts a bit much and a bit confusing but, overall, it was great value for money and I'd recommend it.
- Nigel (9/5): If the property was available for dates that I need in the future. - Very nice and spacious and clean and tidy, perfect for us.
The location was fantastic to walk into Belfast, stunning street art everywhere, along with the lovely Sunflower right opposite the entrance to the flats. Front door could do with a fill/paint.
Couldn’t make the TV work, which wasn’t important to us, but for others it might be?
- James (7/5): Good -
- Mark (1/5): Not a very good experience - View across the city when it wasnt raining.....but thats Belfast for you The smell was not good, abandoned trolleys in the corridor and door to property had a hole in it.
- Geraldine (6/5): Clean accommodation, nice views, great location - Great location and nice view, clean In an old complex. Front door is damaged, which doesn’t provide a person with a good start to the accommodation. Door handle in bathroom kept falling. No shampoo or body wash/ soap. No washing powder/liquid for washing machine. (International travelers don’t want to be carting this sort of stuff around the country). No cutting boards. Lamps in apartment need a good clean inside. Toaster hadn’t been emptied of crumbs for quite a while. Was also quite noisy in the surrounding area
- Gemma (9/5): Superb -
- Nicola (4/5): Disappointing - The beds were lovely and clean , and it was very spacious Cleaning wasn't the best , bo plug to have a bath and no kitchen sink plug or bowl so difficult to wash up and microwave was rusty around inside of door
- Anna (8/5): Super stay . Loved Belfast. - When we arrived the property was cold as all the windows were open. The heating was on timer but the boiler pressure was on zero. Luckily I am able to understand boilers and used the tap on the boiler to increase pressure so we could get heat and hot water. Also - the shower unit could do with updating - very old mixer unit with not much water - either boiling or freezing. I don’t like to complain because the apartment was great. Kitchen excellent. Bedrooms clean and comfortable. But the boiler and shower could do with sorting for future guests. Loved Belfast - we did some lovely pubs, the Titanic Experience and used Paddy Wagon tours to go to the Causeway. An excellent stay.
- Ivan (6/5): Satisfactory and I’ll book again once the heating and oven is fixed - Size and facilities Heating didn’t work and the oven is broken
- Finlay (7/5): Good -
- Tayler (3/5): Poor - Location Felt like extremely unsafe conditions, door to the overall facility was never locked so anyone could walk in, no hot water for the shower
- Rhona (7/5): Good -
- Graham (6/5): Decent value option - Good location for the cathedral quarter & city centre. Good value option to stay close to the city. Deposit quickly returned. Really nice views of the city & hills. Good budget option for a group of friends Flat is a bit worn, but given the price and location not a real issue as I spent very little time in the flat.
- Marc (2/5): Very poor -
- Anonymous (7/5): Central - Location is brilliant. Single mattress isn't fit for purpose, could feel springs. Sink leaks water when we drained it. Front door looks to have been punched in.
