• Jacqueline (9/5): Beautiful apartment, excellent location and great receptionist. - Great location, beautiful apartment and Laura the receptionist gives great information and is very welcoming. The apartment we stayed in had everything we needed. Unfortunately you were not given coffee pods every day so 4 had to last three days for two people. This is the only thing I think could be improved on.

• Donald (9/5): A private gem in a big city. - We loved the private patio outside our room. The staff was so helpful, and also booked us an early morning taxi. Public transportation options were good from the location, which was across the road from the Parliament building. Having the coffee maker out in the hall was a little different!

Nice view of the parliament. Daily cleaning. Nice towels. Two aircon units though we didn’t have to use in April. Good shower. Noise from the upstairs flat. One can hear the footsteps prominently and some conversation. The road in front is surprisingly busy during the day.

• Jon (9/5): Great location, much space, clean, and well equipped. - Extremely spacey and nice apartment. Room for up to 7 people, and the location is very nice, right outside of the parlament building. It would be appreciated with the possibility of having separate blankets on the beds.

• Gretchen (10/5): Excellent stay in a quiet part of Lisbon! - Casas de São Bento is a beautiful small hotel in a quiet part of Lisbon. We loved our room. It was small but soundproof, dark at night, had no street noise, had good water pressure in the shower and a very comfortable mattress. The location was out of the main tourist area, but still only a 15-minute walk to the Praça do Camoes, the central plaza for tour meetups and great food options. The bus stop right around the corner got us to most of where we wanted to go beyond walking distance (like the Belém area), and it's right on the popular Tram 28E line. We took the metro from the airport, and that was also pretty easy (a 30 min ride with one train switch, then a 10 min all-downhill walk). We took a Bolt back to the airport for about 11 Euros. There was also a delicious little cafe right around the corner that the receptionist recommended, São, where we ended up eating breakfast or lunch daily. The decor was very tasteful, and we liked the historic aspects of the building. There was also a self-serve coffee and tea mini kitchen in the lobby for guests. Overall, an excellent stay at a fair price in Lisbon! Nothing! It was perfect!

It could have been cleaner. We were there for a while, and the sheets weren't changed, floors nit cleaned, benches not wiped. It was annoying not having coffee making facilities in the room.a

It was a bit tough to find, and the other folks staying in the apartment part were really loud. But that certainly wasn't the fault of the facility. Hands down I would highly recommend the place and hope to go back!

Would’ve been great if we could tu - The three bedroom apartment was very spacious and clean, and we loved the location! The apartment hallway lights are turned on automatically via motion sensor and there is no way to turn them off. You can hear upstairs neighbors, however with a period building this is be expected. Nothing earplugs couldn’t address when trying to sleep.

If you arrive early in the day, say from a cruise probably better to find somewhere else. - Good position and opposite Parliament building, so seems like a safe area. Indian ( Gurkha ) restaurant nearby. Room 7 has a bath, which is a big plus after a long day touring. About 15 mins walk to the TimeOut restaurant centre. Room 7 shower is antiquated and should be disposed of. No thermostat control, hard to get a comfortable temperature, stiff controls. With the hot tap open, the cold tap has to turn only a few mm, good luck with that. Wash basin also has two tap system with no temperature control. Difficult to contact property owner and arrange for baggage drop before the official checkin time of 3pm. Phone number provided did not answer. Fortunately the cleaners arrived at 11am, and we could leave our luggage before enjoying the town.

• ian (7/5): Winter Mid Week Stay - It offered parking (at extra cost) whilst being located in a central area. The location is very quiet. It’s about 25 minutes by taxi from Benfica’s soccer stadium. We stayed in December and the apartment heating was not working - so it was very cold in the apartment when we arrived. We had to buy a portable heater to make it liveable, as the property did not have any to offer us. I am still waiting to be reimbursed for the cost of the heater. The area around the property mid week has very few bars and restaurants that are open in late afternoon and evening. The area around the property is quite hilly, and there is steep flight of stairs into the property, so I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with mobility issues.

Very comfortable bed and pillows, clean, staff was great, really cozy and right in the middle of a great neighborhood, which we loved! Would highly recommend and definitely will stay again. Restaurants, parks, shopping, and attractions all within walking distance. Would have liked to have some face clothes in the bathroom.
• Lisa (9/5): Spacious and great locale - Lovely area. Spacious room! Outdoor space is nice but we didn’t have time to use it. Receptionist is very nice. Good towels. Comfy bed. Easy parking. The room was spotless - and it reeked overwhelmingly of strong cleaning fluids. I suggest using gentler unscented products. One other small thing is that we could hear the receptionist talking very loudly on FaceTime/speaker phone on what sounded like a personal call - we could hear the whole thing from inside our room which was way down the hall. It was afternoon so not late, but if someone was trying to nap, good luck.

The room was large and spacious, much bigger than other accommodations we have stayed in while travelling Europe. It was modern but still had the Portugal feel, and felt fresh. The bathroom was huge and shower was powerful. The view from our window was very nice and the locality was quiet but a lovely walk to cafes and restaurants. Coffee, tea, milk and a fridge was available also. A very enjoyable stay...would recommend highly. Nothing to dislike about our stay here.

Safe location, close to nice restaurants, 1/2 block from Tram 28, away from heavily trafficked areas, yet convenient. Attentive staff. For the sake of picking something - Only Portuguese TV.

• Noa (8/5): מיקום נהדר. עיצוב חדרים נעים ויפה. יש לשפר את זמינות הצוות לטיפול בבעיות - המיקום נהדר. שכונה מקסימה, רחוקה קצת מהמרכז המתויר מידי אבל מספיק קרובה כדי להגיע ברגל לכל מקום ומלאה מקומות בילוי שווים. החדר בקומת קרקע עם חלון לרחוב. המזגן לא עבד ומאחר ואי אפשר להשאיר חלון פתוח, האוויר בחדר היה דחוס ולא נעים. פניות לצוות לא זכו למענה.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. Upon check-in, we were offered water, tea, and other refreshments before being shown to Room #1—which immediately impressed us with its “wow” factor. Our lovely host personally gave us a tour of the room and made us feel right at home. We were even treated to delicious pastéis de nata and a glass of port—such a thoughtful touch! The room itself was stunning: impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, with high ceilings and a direct view of the National Assembly. Watching the changing of the guards from the window was an unexpected bonus. This place truly felt like a home away from home. The hospitality, comfort, and attention to detail were unmatched. I can’t recommend Casas de São Bento enough to anyone visiting Lisbon—it’s a must-stay! Nil, everything was amazing

The neighbourhood was filled with lovely coffee shops and restaurants as well as easy access to trams, busses and trains. We were very happy with this stay and would confidently recommend it as an accommodation choice.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room had all the amenities we nee - Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, wonderful amenities, spacious and lovely room The only issue was some noise from the upstairs neighbours at night and early in the morning (sounded like a child running around) but it was not a big problem, and not the fault of the property.
• Ines (10/5): Für einen Kurzurlaub in Lissabon sehr zu empfehlen. - Von außen sehr unscheinbar, aber innen wirklich mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das Zimmer und Bad hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage ist super und wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

• Cecilie (6/5): - Cute place, convenient, beds were not comfortable. We were 3 sisters staying in a suite. Very noisy at night with drunk people. The young lady at the reception was great 😊 she was very helpful. We felt safe walking at night after dinner.

Lots of nice touches; very comfortable bed and bedlinen, powerful shower, and everything we could want. Would highly recommend.

Hotel is close to restaurants and city center and easily accessible by different modes of transportation including Uber and trams.

The place is located close to restaurants and independent shops, the rooms are gorgeous and comfortable, excellent communication and we felt very welcomed by João and Beatriz. • Daniel (10/5): - Nice renovated home. The suite was very clean. It is across the street from their Parliament house. Lots of interesting restaurants nearby and a small supermarket. The street cars run closely. I would whole heartedly recommend this suite.
