- J (10/5): Over all, our stay was Pleasant. - The Full Breakfast was more than acceptable. The smoking area was a plus. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The parking area was a plus. Easy to enter and exit. Loved the Gym. WiFi worked Well! While Absecon served its purpose in a wonderful way, We were not familiar with the area and we didn't particularly like the back roads that brought us to the hotel. I got the name of the area mixed up and booked at absecon instead of Egg Harbor. It was fine, but we prefer the route 40 area since that has always been the way we travel to Atlantic City. Glad we traveled during daylight time and not at dusk. That would have been uncomfortable

The cost of $450 for one night was ridiculous and way overpriced. The cashless facility was a bad move. We pay cash everywhere and this facility refused which caused issues for us. The coffee in the lobby was the worst we have ever had also. That price for a room, the coffee should have been a tad higher quality.

- B4621AUbillb (2/5): Horrible rather sleep in my own vehicle - Absolutely the worse hotel I’ve stayed here for a week for work and they would mess the rooms up have random people walk in the rooms at night. Send you in rooms with people in them because they doubled book. Put you in a new room and tell you it’s a clean/new and it would have the tv on and the bed would be messed up would never stay here again. The people working at the front desk have no ideal what they are doing. And if you do stay lock all the locks there’s a good chances of somebody walking in your room
- Shawn (8/5): - Called to i fornm the desk that the handle on the door,that covers the refrigerator ws loose because it was missing a screw,&the wall stand between the beds the sliding shelf continued to open all night, &the sliding door to the dathroom keep sticking,that makes me beleive that the rooms are not inspected after being vacated,as called the front desk at 3AM to infom of a clogged toilet,the desk clerk actually bought me a plungger,the eggs at breakfast didnt looked cook,& the sausages tasted funny. The muffins,and coffee,or tea whenever I wanted.

Having a 24 hour tea and coffee bar and a fresh breakfast included was awesome. What I didn’t like was that I paid online and when I arrive there, it was told to me it was going to be a hold of my credit card. The staff were really nice about telling me. I just would appreciate it if it was advertised on the website so I would know ahead of time.

Even though renovations were going on it was functional and QUIET. Breakfast was exceptional with many choices and everything was good. Although I was hesitant to stay on "Motel Row" I was pleasantly surprised and will stay here again when in town. I guess, due to ongoing renovations, the ice machines were not turned on on all floors; otherwise nothing to fault.

I got there at 11 o clock at night, checking out the next day, and the room rate was well over $200, so barely got to even spend 12 hours in the place. If you're getting there late at night instead of right at 3 (check-in time), the rate really should be lower.

Accessible room was roomy and appears recently renovated. Plenty of grab bars in tub. Great location for Atlantic City and Brigantine. Front desk staff were very nice and helpful, and put a stop to the rap music blasting above us the first evening. We were on 2nd floor, and it was very noisy from the room above on the third floor. Never experienced this at another Hampton. Squeaking and wood creaking sounds with every step they took up there, and children running. Asked twice for phone repair, without action being taken.

Heavy paint smell in the room when we checked in on Friday. No moisturizer, a bottle of hair conditioner was placed next to the bathroom sink (instead of moisturizer or hand soap). When asked at front desk, was informed that they ran out of moisturizer.

The only issues we had were that the walls between the room and hallway allowed all of the noise of the hallway in. If anyone is walking down the hallway talking you’re going to be hearing it. In addition the elevator makes such a loud and pretty constant bell noise every time it passes a floor that we heard that too and we were 3 rooms down from it. It was a bit annoying and should be adjusted to address the noise level for people trying to sleep in past 7am. Otherwise it was good.
- Marissa (6/5): Updated but broken - We had a very mixed experience during our stay. When we first checked in, our room keys didn’t work. After going back to the front desk, we were told that the lock on that room was broken. The staff moved us to another floor and gave us a goodie bag for the inconvenience, which we appreciated. In the new room, however, we ran into more problems. The shower handle spun all the way around, making it unusable, and the sink faucet wasn’t attached to the base—both were broken. We notified the front desk immediately. Again, the staff was very friendly and gave us another goodie bag. They offered to send maintenance, but since we were leaving the room and didn’t want anyone in with our belongings, we declined. The front desk clerk told us to mention the issues again at checkout so management could follow up with compensation. Unfortunately, when we checked out, the staff at the desk had no idea about the situation. They took our phone number and said the manager would reach out, but we never heard from anyone. On the positive side, the hotel was clean, the staff we interacted with were kind and apologetic, and it seems they are making efforts to update the property. The location was convenient—about 20 minutes from the Atlantic City boardwalk. Overall, while the staff tried to make up for the inconveniences, the repeated maintenance issues and lack of follow-through from management left us disappointed.

One thing I wish the hotel had was better outdoor seating and a fire pit would be a nice Addition. I would stay there again.

Tenían café las 24 horas, en el desayuno tenían huevos revueltos u omelet, sausage, papas salteadas, 3 tipos de jugos, waffles, frutas sueltas y frutas las cuales se tomaron el tiempo para cortarlas y hacer un cóctel de frutas frescas. El personal extremadamente servicial, me quedé 5 días y los primeros 4 días, cada vez que regresaba el cuarto estaba limpio y las camas arregladas y con mas toallas extras. Y ni hablar de la piscina. Super rica. Son los mejores en todo. Todo me encantó.

Our room was very bland with one of the framed prints removed from the wall leaving the the anchors still in place. We’ve stayed at Hampton Inns before and we’re always pleased with the accommodations, so this was a disappointment. I will say that the complimentary breakfast was very good and the staff there very attentive. I don’t know if all the floors were being renovated at the same time, if not, better arrangements could have been made.

The hotel itself isn’t in the nicest area. I felt a little uncomfortable staying by myself. Then somehow as I was getting ready for bed, another patron trod getting onto my room. Somehow they switched my room but I was already in another one.

All of the wallpaper was pulled off the walls at the bottom for the entire length of the hallway. The room had no art work or pictures in it and had multiple holes in the walls where pictures had been. The thermostat was literally falling off the wall. There was trash in the trashcan when I checked in I guess from previous consumers. The bathroom door didn’t close properly and had no lock. The room was incredibly noises all night- felt like the people walking above were going to fall through the ceiling. Over all bad experience. I understand the hotels need to be updated but they shouldn’t have charged full price for a room in this condition. Awful.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Just needs some tune ups - I used the app they recommended to use so I downloaded it. The digital key opened the side door but not my room. Outside trash laying around including a lot of liqueur bottles. No doggie bags at either pet station. People at front desk very friendly and kind. Let us have late check out. Gym was pretty nice to get a quick workout in. Breakfast was good. Just a lot of stuff out of stock so had to constantly ask for things to be refilled. The waffles are so yummy! Room was spacious. Carpet was dirty if u walked around bare foot, which we never do, ur feet would be black. Husband literally ran to get flips after shower because he forgot them and feet were black, so back in the shower. Bed was comfortable and room ac got cold which we loved! Staff was very friendly and helpful 🙂

- 233albertc (4/5): Unkempt and poor customer service - There is a lack of focus on cleanliness and customer service based on my overnight stay. When I brought up the issues below during check out, I was provided an email but over the course of several follow-up's, I was ignored. Makes their "100% Hampton Guarantee" pretty much lip service and disappointing for someone who has placed their loyalty with Hilton. I found hairs in the bed and bathroom. I have gray short hair and you can see from pictures, these are not mine. During breakfast, the trash was overflowing, and I saw it emptied only after service ended. The food was decent and I've always appreciated the complimentary breakfast at Hampton Inn. The paint on the ceiling in the bathroom was cracked and bubbling. I arrived after hours so the front door required a room card to get in. Since I hadn't checked in yet, I buzzed for 10 minutes without answer and was left waiting outside for a total of 20 minutes when I just wanted to get into bed. When I was finally let into the lobby, the front desk attendant didn't apologize for the wait nor acknowledge my Honors Gold status. My room was quiet and well temperatured. The parking lot was brightly lit and had plenty of spaces within short walk of the entrances.

- Debbie (4/5): Probably the worst Hilton stay that we have ever had. - The location was ok. We knew where it was. We have stayed at many Hiltons before and this one was ok. It was clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast was a disaster. When we went downstairs at 9:20 a.m. there was almost no food, especially the hot stuff. Everything was empty. The waffle batter also was empty. We had to wait like 30 minutes before new stuff was brought out. It was very aggravating. They were not prepared at all. Also, our shower was awful. The water pressure was very bad and the water did not even get very hot. First time we ever stayed at a Hilton that we were disappointed. We are both Hiltons Honors members
- Verified traveler (4/5): Disappointing but okay - Not bad, but not good. We were a group of ten celebrating a Birthday during the July 4th weekend. Made reservations for three rooms. Reservations were for Handicapped accessible rooms since two members of the group cannot get in and out of bathtubs. Arrived at 3:00pm, which is supposed to be checkin time. One of the three rooms was ready. The two other rooms were not ready until 4:15. No compensation or apology was offered for taking over an hour from us. Also requested adjoining rooms and told people already checked in got those rooms. How did they checkin before three when that is the time of checkin? All three rooms were not accessible and all three had tubs. We requested at least one room with the walk in shower and told the hotel was full. The three rooms were on two floors and all far apart. Made things inconvenient for us as a group. The hotel is also under renovation and this was not mentioned during booking. There were tools and paint and dust and loose wall paper all over the halls and elevator banks. The workers were looking at us like we were in their way, which made things very unpleasant. if you have young children, which we had a toddler in the group this was not safe at all. Hotel says pool is open from 7:00 am to 10:00pm. Tried to go in at 11:00 am one day and it was closed for cleaning. It opened again after 12:00, but why clean the pool during the day? Overall, just a lot of inconveniences that I wish we didn't have to deal with.
