- mahesh (1/5): - Subject: Request for Refund Due to Poor Experience Dear Sir/Madam, When we arrived at the hotel, we were very disappointed to find that the road and location were not as expected. The access road was very narrow, and we felt unsafe. When we showed our booking confirmation, the staff said they did not recognize it and were not willing to assist us or communicate properly. This created a lot of confusion and made the situation feel risky for us. Due to these issues, we decided to leave immediately and go to another place. Our experience with this hotel was very bad. The staff behavior was rude, and the location was misleading. Therefore, we kindly request you to process a full refund to the same card used at the time of booking. We trust Booking.com and have always used your platform, so we hope you will resolve this matter promptly. Thank you for your understanding.

- Robert (8/5): Michelin Adjacent (!!) - As usual, the staff were efficient and kind (though Google translate is your friend). Besides not being expensive, Nine Place is safe and quiet. Now that there is a PTT mall around the corner, all the amenities are nearby: 7-Eleven, pharmacy, coffee, food, etc. Speaking of food, I was AMAZED to discover that here is now a new MICHELIN-listed Thai restaurant, Keawloon BKK, literally a five-minute walk away on Soi Saeng Chan (a new thing for Khlong Toei). It's family-run and quite small, so make reservations.

- Robert (9/5): - I come to Bangkok maybe once a month, and generally stay here (as a former long-stay). I can't add anything to the nice reviews I've already written. However, I'd like to compliment the staff, who were great, as usual (though Google translate is your friend :-).
- Robert (9/5): A lovely week-long stay - Nine Place 40 is in a small, very Thai soi off Rama 4. The area is not touristy, which means it's quiet and safe. There is now a PTT mall on the next block, with 7/11, Amazon/Black Canyon, Otteri, Banana IT, pharmacy, and a ton of restaurants so all conveniences are readily to hand. There is also a Food Hall across the street. My room was large. Aircon good (though windows open), hot water excellent (really hot shower), mattress good, WiFi good, staff extremely helpful (despite language barrier; use Google translate). Security was good (important to me because I carry camera equipment). I also appreciated the "no marijuana" policy. That can be a problem in smaller hotels. But not this one! The hotel has several buildings. I noticed that the hallways in one building had been repainted and were bright. Presumably this will be done for al the buildings.

- Robert (9/5): Excellent value in a quiet neighnorhood - I am a solo digital traveller, so quiet and safety for my equipment (cameras, laptop, etc) are paramount (along with a baseline of cleanliness, hot water, aircon, laundry, etc.). Nine Place meets these requirements easily, at an excellent price. The staff is very kind (though sometimes I need Google translate). Nine Place is also close to a PTT plaza, so near 7-Eleven, coffee (Amazon, Black Canyon), Banana computer, and several restaurants. The location is a short cab ride to BTS Ekkamai, but also good for cabbing to Silom, the shopping districts, or out to the airport. Nine Place is not in a tourist area. When you walk down its street you will see shophouses with families and many small businesses. Also Aunties, delivery motorcycles, running children, etc. Quite different from Khao San road! Rooms could be larger, but for the price I can't quarrel!

- Jaseng (1/5): Despite flexibility of location, hotel service, facilities and cleanliness is bad and unsatisfactory. - The location is suitable for easy commuting, near with BTS station and 7 eleven. Room facilities need maintenance and replacement , found a hole on the ceiling as well. Room is not clean and big enough for two people. Some trash and dust was also found under bedstead. Deposit refund process should be flexible for customers.

- Ryn (10/5): A pleasant stay - This is my fourth time staying at this hotel. It has a strategic locations it is near various dining options. Most importantly, the staff is friendly and efficient.

Although they said there is no deposit, they asked as 600 baht deposit. Thankfully there is one male staff who is always helpful. Except from that, the place is not livable.

- Ryn (10/5): My Pleasant Stay - I requested the ground floor due to heavy luggage and staying for 11 nights, they meet my needs. My air-conditioned room was noisy, but the boss immediately gave me another room. The staff were friendly and provided enough drinking water throughout my stay.

- Pwint (2/5): Very bad place - The services are really bad. We have to pay first in hotel.com and after we checkout they keep asking money from us and their attitude is really bad and rude and so impatient and the English communication is so poor. I will never recommend this place.

- duy quang (8/5): Je recommande vivement au budget éco. - Arrivé à 13h, check in très rapide. La chambre est petite, j ai demandé une grande chambre, la receptionniste à accepté sans problème. Je me retrouve avec une chambre au 1er étage,grande chambre,2 très grande fenêtres ,lit king size confortable, clim impeccable, canapé, bureau. Endroit calme, un peu loin du Bts à pied 15min , 7-11 à 5 min. Je recommande vivement pour budget éco, court/long séjour.
