Guest Reviews
- Joseph (6/5): - NO WI-FI and NO TELEVISION DID NOT WORK>
- justin (10/5): - Amazing
- Caroline (10/5): - Great location, needed a hotel unexpectedly and managed to get a reservation same day. Perfect for what I needed.
- Alberto (4/5): Urgent claim - No hot water for first 24 hours. The hotel management knew about problem but did not disclose to customers arriving for the weekend.
I had to cancel a dinner and lunch engagement because I could not take a shower and get cleaned up. I want a partial refund of the high rental I prepaid
- Lucas (10/5): - Dianna is a lovely sweet lady ! Great stay.
- jenny (10/5): - I loved everything except that safe in the room did not work.
- Brendan (8/5): - Delightful stay; perfect location, quiet and nicely curated room . It’s SH so it’s very expensive, which i expect and accept. One suggestion/ lose the robes and provide some coffee instead.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Cottage Cute & Great Location - Nice updated, neat, clean small cottage-styled motel. Great location with hydrangea/privet lined courtyard & free use of bikes! Easy walking distance to Southampton’s charming downtown full of shopping/restaurants. Manager was responsive, friendly & helpful. Only issue was room safe not working and lack of in-room or motel coffee/tea capability. Luckily, Starbuck’s only few blocks away! Perfect location to celebrate anything and enjoy the nearby beaches, museums, antique/fine art shows and lovely neighborhoods.
- Irina (2/5): - My room was unacceptable, there was mold and the shower was flooding the bathroom all the time, the wifi did not work very well and the owner/manager was not helpful. I had to call every time we needed more towels and she was not welcoming or friendly at all. When we told her about the shower she did not show any remorse
- Duncan H (10/5): Surprise, surprise! - Lovely small FULLY and TASTEFULLY renovated motel in Southampton.
Lovely touches, crown moldings, updated everything!
This is not what you think of when you think of a 1950's motel. . . . very upscale. Quiet, convenient . . . Will definitely return!
- Janet (10/5): Loved it - Lovely charming place. Excellent staff and service . Can’t wait to go back
- Martin (10/5): - The room was beautiful and comfort. So many trees and the color flowers. Property clean.
- Theresa Ann (10/5): - The hotel room is very beachy looking and it was super clean.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location and the staff was extremely helpful and flexible.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautifully maintained little "motel" and user friendly. Everything great except price which was astronomical.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Friendly manager
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location close to town. Incredibly clean and fresh. The furnishings make the most of very small space. Due to COVID there was no coffee at all on the premises.
- Stephen (4/5): ll great but the bed - I wish I could rate this higher:
Location-5
Hospitality-5
Cleanliness-5
Bed-1. We had a twin room. The mattresses were extremely low quality and uncomfortable. A simple upgrade would make this place a 5
- Verified traveler (8/5): excellent value - I travel to Southampton a few times a year for work and have to be budget-conscious. This was a hard-to-find bargain! The room was very clean and well-appointed. The bed was comfortable, water pressure was good, A/C worked well. Having stayed at more than a few of the musty inns in the area I'm glad I gave this place a try, I will be booking again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): a lovely one-night - Lovely yard to relax and read both morning and evening. Very clean and fresh in all aspects
- GISELE (10/5): Comfortable and Excellent service - I had an amazing stay. The place is super clean, well located, super friendly staff. Completely remodeled. I will stay there again many times.
Thank you so much for being so great.
- jamie (10/5): - Charming little spot just around the corner from the beaten path.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Clean and quiet. Small rooms but we didn't go to stay in a hotel we went to enjoy the town. Woukd certainly go back. The guy was noce enough to let us check out at 2 instead of 11
- Adi (8/5): Great place to stay! - We stumbled upon the Southampton Village Motel for our pre 4th of July getaway. The manager, Thomas, was fantastic! He told us about different restaurants, beaches and sites to check out during our stay. We were able to check out bikes during our stay to get around the town. They were great for going to the beach and exploring the quaint downtown. We did have some ant issue and told Thomas, who took care of it immediately. Overall we had a fantastic time and will be sure to come back.
- Ruby (10/5): - We had an excellent stay at the Southampton Village Motel. Tom was phenomenal in making sure we had everything we needed, and was super gracious in providing town recommendations. Clean stay especially during COVID times.
- Michael (10/5): - Loved the place! Not the biggest rooms, but they were new and clean. It had all we needed.
