- Toni (6/5): Other than bed and pillows and Allison’s help it was ok and manager was rude - Bed and pillows were comfy First off I wanted to the rooms were beautiful beds and pillows were so comfy! However we did not totally enjoy our stay. The fridge wasn’t working and it smelled! We went to use the pool and the hot tub want working either we were told. When getting up to our room my daughter and I noticed it was really warm in there. I tried to get it to cool but the numbers kept going in and out. Called guests services and Allison was truly a sweetheart. We ended up having to switch rooms! She gave us a voucher for breakfast but because we got to the room late we went to sleep and didn’t have time for breakfast. We checked out and I guess y’all were having a meeting that we didn’t get an invoice. Come to find out when we got to the car my daughter had a ticket on her door for a parking fee. Which is ridiculous! We’re staying at your hotel no covered or valet parking and your charging! We were not told when checking in about paying for parking nor did she ask for our cars information. After all the trouble and stress this stay put on me and my daughter who is 6 months pregnant I think it only fair that you disregard this ridiculous ticket fine you imposed on us! If this issue isn’t resolved my next complaint will be on the reviews page and calling corporate. Thank you for your time and consideration into this matter! Antoinette Hill

- keithkarma (2/5): Questionable Management & Practices - My reservation was made by Mayo Clinic, & they were paying for my stay also. When I arrived, on 3/1/26, I was asked for a credit card, when I asked why, I was told it was just for a $100 hold, in case there were any damages, when I checked out it would be credited back to my card. That never happened. I was immediately charged $640.10, when I checked in, then card was charged another $640.10, on 3/4/26 when I checked out. I noticed the charges on 3/5/26. I called & spoke to Gigi, she said she has no idea why “they” did that she could see where it was supposed to be charged to Mayo. So she was crediting my card for both charges. Only 3/1, was credited, immediately. I had to call a total of 3 times before the 2nd one was credited. The 2nd time I called, the lady that answered the phone wouldn’t let me talk to Gigi, she never asked who I was, she just asked if I was double charged for my stay, like it’s something that happens regularly. When I arrived, my room was dirty, floor hadn’t been swept, or mopped, the sheets had not been changed on the bed. I didn’t call to complain, until I noticed that there was long black hair all over the shower floor, & there were 3 coffee cups lids, 1 unwrapped, 2 wrapped but stuck together with something sticky that was all over the counter by the coffee maker. They sent Jack Head of housekeeping, to clean, (he was the nicest person I met while there). They gave me points on my Hilton account & a free breakfast, but this was all before I knew they had charged me for the stay, & then double charged me, for something that MAYO clinic was paying for. I don’t know what kind of scam this hotel is running but evidently I’m not the only one who has had issues. The only other good thing besides Jack, was the breakfast I had was excellent.
- DrMFoo (8/5): Non-functional rooms created by crazed designers! - It’s clean and comfortable, the food is good. It was ideally situated near the Musical Instrument museum and many restaurants. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. But crazed designers were set loose in creating our non- functional room, which was inappropriate for seniors or anyone with bad knees, a normal neck or shorter people. I wanted a disability room but they were sold out. ( Hilton, please include more of these rooms.) The room was dark, with only two small lamps plus a linear mood light in the desk divider/headboard. No bedside lamps, so forget reading print material. The woven plastic blind cord controls could only be reached by kneeling on a sofa to adjust them. Nope, not of you’ve got bad knees! Plus my husband couldn’t find the blackout cord so he’s piling pillows above the sofa trying to block out the light. The place was fairly recently remodeled but one of the bottom cord stays was already broken so the two cords were tangled together. The TV is at a 90 degree angle from the bed: not comfortable or ergonomic for anyone. No designated place to put your luggage unless you use the low couch. Then you have no place to sit. There was a low square bench in the office area but I had other fragile things to put on it. The hotel has no luggage racks available. The bathroom is spacious but the light is dim if trying to look in the 3’ distanced mirror for pierced earring insertion: it’s difficult. The square rain shower fixture is about 7’ up and parallel to the ceiling. I’m ~5’3”. So the fixture is about 2’ from my hair and even farther from my nether regions. How does one rinse the soap off well? Why can’t they give guests what they want, which is a night light in the bathroom, racks or shelves for luggage, a shower fixture with a directional spray, an ergonomic TV? And a bidet if I was wishing for the ultimate. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

- Victor (7/5): It was a nice stay but not what I normally expect when I book a Hilton Garden hotel. - The hotel was in a nice location (restaurants, shopping, and major freeway were all located near by). Staff was very friendly and professional. I had no hot water (shower). At best it was lukewarm. The bed was way to soft for my preference. The lounging coach in the room had stains, and someone had previously damaged the armoire closet.

Been staying at this location for yrs due to Mayo Clinic treatment. Reported to mgmt but never fixed. Don't like the idea of paying for parking at this location. This might be the norm for Hilton but I can tell you that we will not be staying here if we have to pay for parking. We've talked to others that use this hotel and they agree. We will all be staying somewhere else if Hilton at this location starts charging for parking. Especially since lot is never even full.

- Amy (1/5): We were inconvenienced by a TV that did not work. I just had knee surgery and was not very mobile so moving rooms was no - The lobby and the lounge area was very nice. The breakfast was good. We were putting a room with a broken TV and a broken coffee machine. The TV was never fixed the entire time we were there. We should’ve never been put in that room to begin with.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - Checked into room and went to take a shower. No hot water. Was told boiler broke and they “didn’t know which rooms it impacted”. Did not offer to move us. Not offered anything by way of compensation because we reserved through a third party. Clear communication upon check in would have gone a long way. There were 3 people at the desk for check in. With something as significant as no hot water, staff could have been checking rooms and blocking off any without. Or at least let guests know immediately so they can check and determine if they prefer a different room.
- Dale (8/5): - We're local people and stayed here because of an issue with our well water at home. CONS: NO hot water at this hotel!! Boiler broke (last week?) and they won't be fixing it until this week! Hilton is also remodeling this property, so they were tearing things up. Pool was outdoors and barely warm enough to swim. Hot tub was only 90 degrees and very cloudy, so did not attempt either one.... $10 per day for parking when this location is not even close to downtown and is off the highway in front of a large open field!! Seriously, Hilton?? I'm sure Miss Paris would not have "enjoyed the stay"! This Hilton Honors member was not impressed. PROS: The staff did an amazing job trying to improve our stay! Lillian at the front desk gave us drink and food vouchers - full restaurant/bar at this location. April, our server was very sweet and attentive and Chef Jackie was amazing! One of the best omelets I've had in a long time! Will return just for the food and service! Would have only given this stay 2 stars without them. Hilton did something right hiring this group!

- George (4/5): - The property was going through renovation. We had no hot water for our 2 day stay. The pool and hot tub was green and dirty. You pay to park your car in a lot that was half empty. You pay for breakfast. Drinks are 14 dollars. Stay away from this place. Nickel and diming your guests is a good way to see them once and never again.

- Kevins (8/5): - Nice place to stay at only complaints is out bathtub was discolored like if there was paint on it or something all over the tub and the lights are weird if you turn off the master switch the charging ports by the bed don’t work but if you leave it on there’s two lights in the closet that stay on so you have to charge your phone on a different charging port or have light lights on but other than I would recommend!

I would happily return and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful experience.
- JRMADA (2/5): Dreadful Stay!!! - Unfortunately we stayed here one night which was enough to convince us to never return. Being an Honors member and wishing to stick with member loyalty, we chose this place for a 1 night stay and immensely regret it. First, the air conditioning did not work (114 F/45 C day in Phoenix) in the original room given to us, so we had to change rooms to the opposite side of the building. Second, the mattress on the bed (second room) was so worn, that it sunk in the middle making for a very uncomfortable sleepless night. We contemplated just sleeping on the floor if it was cleaner. Third, the room was very noisy as the property is situated at the edge of FWY 101, and the walls and window are clearly not very well insulated for sound. The towels had a bad smell. The A/C barely cooled the room although it was set to 69 deg F. The toilet tank water ran all night with a small leak adding to the soundtrack coming from the freeway. Our bodies ache from the worn out mattress... As we were parking the car to check in, we saw the pay to park sign, so we asked the front desk if we had to pay for parking, and we were told that not yet, but coming soon within the next month or so. One more reason to avoid this place (feels like nickel and dimming). But the crowning moment came when at 2PM ( we checked out at 7:10AM and left the property), I got a charge on my credit card for breakfast around 10AM or so... When I called the front desk to ask for an explanation of the charge for a breakfast we never had, I was told that a refund was going to be processed and a new invoice sent. As I write this that has not happened. Avoid this place! You deserve better!

The mananager, Johnathan , Hader ,the housekeeping , the Restaurant , The Electrician...were all perfect except for the night auditor...he was incompetent and rude. I wont return to that hotel because, he was so terrible, it messed and stressed , my whole trip!
- Stephen (4/5): - I was here reviving from hip surgery and beds are like trying to sleep or move around on a wet loaf of bread. So soft you can’t rearrange your body at all. A lot of work for a surgery patient. The air conditioner sounded like the engine on a Lake Superior ore boat. Other than that.

- Virginia (8/5): - The location is very near Desert Ridge restaurants and Mayo clinic. I have stayed here before and will again. The food is surprisingly good, restaurant staff do a great job. The pool area is so so, but nice enough. I requested housekeeping on one day, but they only cleaned the bathroom, did not make the bed or sweep. I noticed the headboard to be a little greasy. Housekeeping needs to stop up their game. Otherwise, a nice hotel, interesting decor in the rooms, and excellent bathroom.
- Patricia (10/5): Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. - Came here to have a little staycation with the hubby and celebrate a friends birthday. The bar tender was fantastic in the afternoon and the lady who helped with breakfast in the morning was just as good. The room is set up perfect for an intimate setting. For the first time in almost 2yrs we finally found a hotel with a functioning pool AND hot tu!. Lots of good eats near by make this location a place we will continue coming to in the future. For the price and location I highly recommend it to everyone.
- Leigh (10/5): - I chose this hotel because it is close to Mayo Clinic, and I had a procedure scheduled there. The staff are very kind, and it's very close to restaurants and other amenities. It's clean, the food in the restaurant is good, and they have a marketplace for snacks, really everything you need.

- Melinda (10/5): - It should have included breakfast. The TV off to one side was odd. I loved the desk set up and all the charging options for phones, pods, tablets. There was work being done so the window was covered from the outside but we understood.
- Rachael (6/5): Uncomfortable and dirty rooms - The room was spacious, but not very comfortable and everything felt slightly dirty. The rug in the living room was clearly very old and was matted down. I did not want my kids to lay on it. The couch was also old and dirty and extremely uncomfortable. There were “stained” dirt marks on the shower floor. Seems like a good scrub with some comet could have taken care of that. We spilled some coffee on the floor and after we cleaned up the coffee we went to wipe the floor so it wasn’t sticky and the towel was black with dirt. Really grossed me out. There was no breakfast included, which we knew when I booked the place, but they didn’t even have coffee available downstairs. If I wanted coffee I was told I had to pay $2/cup. I won’t be staying here again. I expected more from a Hilton.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Hotel has a cleaning schedule of once every 3-4 days. To receive more frequent cleaning or refresh towels, one must specifically ask for it at the front desk. Cleaning service was uneven, sometimes better than other times. Hotel staff friendly but not always helpful.
- Amber (2/5): - The front desk staff was extremely disappointing—unhelpful, condescending, and outright rude. When we requested additional towels and washcloths, we were met with sarcastic comments and told they were germaphobes who wouldn't take our dirty towels. They also charged more than the $100 hold fee without providing any explanation, and this issue is still unresolved. If I could give the front desk staff negative stars, I would— their attitude made it uncomfortable just walking through the door. Unfortunately, we weren’t the only ones who felt this way. I understand they were likely dealing with system changes and transitions, which is understandable, but even the simplest details—like pool hours and whether the pool was operational—were unclear or incorrect. Given the temperature was 102 degrees, it was essential for the pool to be open and functioning, yet that information was unreliable. Nice sunsets.
- Wendy (8/5): - Our stay was good. We did stay while they were transitioning to new ownership with Hilton. To be fair we were give. A heads up prior to our trip but there was a learning curve with the staff and some on-site construction during our stay. The staff was kind, professional, and courteous during our stay. I do think they have room for improvement in explaining how breakfast and their store in the lobby works during check in.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Overnight Stay - Stayed here for trip to Mayo Clinic. Other patients recommended it. The room was great for my overnight stay. Close to hospital, clean and spacious room. Had a simple breakfast in their restaurant.
- Carol (10/5): Early morning Noise - The room was very nice. We asked for a late check out due to doctor appointment. They agreed but when we returned to our room following the appointment, our key card had been deactivated. The desk clerk apologized and escorted us back to our room so we could collect our dog and belongings. Also, they had people on the roof banging around at 6:30 am. It would have been nice to have been given a heads up about that and an apology for the noise.
- Mario (10/5): Late Check Out. - All in all, it was good stay for us at Cambria. The check-in was quick and smooth. Hotels got my room preference good, top floor, and away from the elevators. The room was up to date, especially the bathroom. It was nice and clean and the hotel provides the soap and shampoo. The only drawback might be the mattress; they have an indentation on the inside middle of the bed. When you're lying on your stomach, your back is bending the wrong way. Maybe, new mattresses are in order? I asked for the latest check-out, and they gave it to me. My wife was having a business meeting in the area. I'm glad that I was accommodated by the hotel.

- James (2/5): Worst stay in all my years - Once I paid for the room, I received notification that the swimming pool was out of service for two weeks. Then found that my window had plastic over it and half of the building was under construction. Ice machine broke, kureg broke and a weird electrical short in the room that disabled phone chargers, unless you left the lights on in the room overnight. Was told I got 20% off dining but they did not credit me for it and made me come down to the lobby for the menu they said was supposed to be in my room. Nightmare

- David (10/5): - Spacious, clean, and modern room. Either newly built or renovated. The entrance and the lobby is as beautiful and grand as any five star luxury hotel. Free parking. Completely met my expectation.
