Request on top of booking requests vere processed very smoothly. Door cards are working without problems for hotel room as well as for ski depot.

Christoph (8/5): + Sehr zentral, tolles Essen, freundliches Personal; – laut, recht teuer - Das Johann ist sehr zentral gelegen, mitten in der Fußgängerzone/am Hauptplatz von Schladming. Geschäfte, Lokale und die Bergbahn sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Hotelpersonal ist ausgesprochen freundlich. Die Qualität des Frühstücks und des Essens im Restaurant ist großartig. Das Ambiente angenehm. Preislich ist das Restaurant doch sehr hoch angesiedelt. Ausstattung und Komfort der Zimmer sind sehr gut. Die zentrale Lage bringt auch Nachteile mit sich. Man hört, vor allem in den Zimmern mit Blick auf die Straße hinaus, Passanten und andere Geräuche sehr laut. Auch sind die Zimmer auf dieser Seite recht einsichtig. Für Geschäftsreisen empfiehlt es sich ein größeres Zimmer zu buchen. DIe Einzelzimmer haben weder Tisch noch Sessel, um darin auch arbeiten zu können und sind generell sehr klein. Ebenfalls kritisch anmerken möchte ich, dass der Wellnessbereich/Pool nach einer kurzen Öffnung ganz in der Früh, dann erst wieder nach Mittag öffnet und dann auch um 19 uhr wieder geschlossen wird. Durch dioese eingeschränkte zugänglichkeit, konnte ich diesen Bereich leider gar nicht nutzen.

Martin (8/5): It was ok - Breakfast was exceptional. Everything clean, we got a free parking spot, however it looked a bit packed. Everytime we got the last spot. I wish we could have tried the infinity pool, but it closes at 19:30. If you go night skiing, it’s already closed by the time you get back. I’m also not a fan of very soft pillows. I’m not 20 years old anymore — I need a decent pillow, guys. The booking margin is quite high without offering any additional services (such as the ability to cancel or similar options). The price on Booking is about 20% higher, which is simply too much. We ended up paying 526 EUR for a room just with breakfast. If you book through the hotel’s website, you can get the same room for 480 EUR with half board included. I’m not blaming anyone, but it left a bit of a bad taste. Also, during check-in we were told that we had a small gift waiting for us in the room. It turned out to be a small key ring with the hotel logo, probably worth about 5 EUR. Sorry, but that feels a bit ridiculous — I’m not a walking advertisement. If you provide something slightly more thoughtful (even something simple like a cheap bottle of wine, apple juice, or anything similar), I would actually appreciate it, especially when paying 526 EUR per night for doubleroom.

heathra (8/5): Pleasant stay - Central hotel but only a 5 minute walk to Planai gondola station. The hotel has been modernised but still retains its Austrian heritage. We had a GROSSzügig room which consisted of a bedroom, sitting room, large bathroom and balcony, housekeeping very good. Food is excellent, huge choice of hot and cold for breakfast and a four course dinner with a changing salad bar every evening. I do not think the hotel has many English visitors as a lot of food jars/labels on the salad bar were only in German which meant I had to keep asking. The evening menu is in both German & English, it’s all the extras that aren’t. Glasses of wine are served in 125ml which seems to be the norm, and at E8, I thought very reasonable. Strangely enough there is no Austrian rose, only Provence, on the menu. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and speak very good English. The infinity pool is amazing and you can see the last part of the black slope coming down to the village. Great sunbathing loungers around the pool too. Schladming is a charming Austrian town with a good variety of shops and only a 75 minute journey from Salzburg airport. My only negative comment is that the bar area is in somewhat of a corridor and there is no proper lounge area. There is an bar outside which is in a glass building, just outside the main door, Apart from that we had a very good stay.

Waltraud Mager (10/5): Alles Perfekt. Wir kommen gerne wieder. - Frühstück ließ keinen Wunsch offen. Personal total freundlich und der Spa Bereich mit dem Roof Top Pool mit Blick auf Schladming der Wahnsinn. Im Zimmer leider keine Kaffeemaschine oder Wasserkocher - jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Waltraud Mager (10/5): Einfach alles perfekt! - Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Das Personal wirklich sehr bemüht und freundlich. Der Spa Bereich und der Rooftop Pool einfach einzigartig. Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
365oleksandrv (10/5): Awesome place to stay any time of year! - Despite a rocky start to our stay with the management, I can confidently say that this service has exceeded our expectations! It’s not an easy task to accommodate and satisfy a company of 13-15 people, but all of our needs were fulfilled with no trouble at all. Special thanks to Christian, who showed extreme care and hospitality to us all. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a cozy and problem-free time, no matter how many people are coming!

Jan (9/5): - Fantastická snídaně, velmi milý personál, vynikající kuchyně, skvělé wellness i fitness. Matrace a polštáře nebyly moc pohodlné. V pokoji nebyla rychlovarná konvice a přístroj horké nápoje bylo možné využívat pouze u snídaně.

Peter Manuel (5/5): - Sehr zentrale Lage, sowie ein toller Wellnessbereich. Preis/Leistung war nicht ok. Auf Grund das Hotel am Sonntag um 10:00 zusperrte. Jedoch der Aufenthalt inklusive Wellnessbereich für den gesamten Tag bezahlt war.

Emese (10/5): Igényes, kellemes, kedves személyzet, finom ételek. (reggeli). A medencéből fantasztikus kilátás van - Egyetlen negatív tapasztalat volt, a párnák minősége, nagyon elhasználódtak már.
Edina (10/5): Fantasztikus helyen,fantasztikus hangulatú,praktikus minden szempontból kiváló. - A reggeli kiváló volt!A sípálya közelsége is nagy előny volt.A Wellness illetve rendelkezésre álló gyümölcs,tea...is nagyon jól esett.Amit jó tanácsként esetleg ajánlanék,hogy a szauna használatáról sok ember nem tudja,hogy hygiénikai okokból törölköző kellene a testük alá,és,hogy ne beszéljenek a szaunában,zavarva másokat.Én erre diszkrétan kiírással figyelmeztetném őket.Nagy örömmel voltunk Önöknél. Minden tökéletes volt.

Steven (1/5): Not worth the money, extremely poor experience - Nice swimming pool and sauna facilities Never met staff as rude, unfriendly and unhelpful as these any where in the world and I travel alot. We got told off like children as we arrived by the management as we were a group even though we had literally walked through the door. Then when one of the group had issues with the room they dismissed us as if the problem wasn't there. The room facilities were also extremely poor, they don't even have facilities for tea or coffee which is the first time I've ever experienced that.

Jede Ecke in Eurem Objekt ist designertechnisch perfekt - mit Liebe zum Detail… Das Zimmer top! Der Wellness-Bereich top! Parken direkt hinter dem Haus. Das WeihnachtsGenuss-Menü - ein Traum! Und nicht zu vergessen sind die Menschen - also das Team! Alle zaubern so eine tolle Atmosphäre - und ich meine wirklich alle dort. Es fällt uns sehr schwer in Worte zu fassen, wie schön bei Euch war. Eine große Umarmung und vielen Dank! Es war mehr als perfekt! Eine klare Empfehlung! Danke!

Brigitta (10/5): Perfect location, well equiped hotel, nice spa - Perfect location, close to everything in the city. Breakfast was amazing and the staff is friendly and kind. The hotel is well equiped, really nice interior and wellnes area is excellent. The view from the pool is spot on. Only a jakuzzi is missing to complete the full spa experience. Pillow was too soft. There was no option to turn the central heating down.

Sabrina (9/5): Super schönes Hotel mit sehr gutem Frühstück - Super schönes Hotel mit guter Lage und tollem Frühstück. Personal sehr freundlich, vorallem Mati und Milan im Restaurant waren sehr zuvorkommend . Spa Bereich und Pool sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Zimmer sehr klein aber man hat alles was man braucht. Die Öffnungszeiten für Pool und Sauna könnte ruhig für ganzen Tag ausgeweitet werden. Matratzen im Zimmer waren sehr hart.
Corinna (9/5): Ein perfekter Aufenthalt im Herzen von Schladming in einem schönen stylischen Hotel! - Die Lage war perfekt, direkt im Zentrum gelegen und nahe der Station Planai. Ein Parkplatz stand hinter dem Hotel zur Verfügung. Das Zimmer war klein aber fein ausgestattet! Das Frühstück hat keine Wünsche offen lassen. es war ein wenig sehr warm im Zimmer. Wir haben die Heizung komplett abgedreht gehabt und bei offenen, gekippten Fenster im Dezember bei rund 0 Grad gut schlafen können.

Luise (10/5): - Der Pool hatte genau die perfekte Temperatur (also nicht zu kalt), das Hotel ist sehr liebevoll dekoriert, das Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker, die Lage ist super, gleich direkt mitten im Geschehen. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Simone (5/5): Erholt waren wir nicht. - Sauberkeit im Zimmer lässt zu wünschen übrig. Sehr laut, wir sind mehrere male in der Nacht aufgewacht, obwohl die Fenster geschlossen waren. Extrem warm im Zimmer und keine Regulation möglich. Getränke sind sehr teuer.

Laura (8/5): - Das Hotel JOHANN ist wirklich außerordentlich modern und schön! Man fühlt sich sofort wohl! Auch das Personal und das Essen ist ausgezeichnet n Sehr schade finde ich, dass es im Spa-Bereich nur wenige Liegemöglichkeiten gibt. Wenn man neu anreist, bekommt man keinen Liegeplatz. Auch die Öffnungszeiten vom Wellnessbereich sind ungewöhnlich. Zum Beispiel kann man die Sauna erst ab 12:00 Uhr nutzen, genauso wie das Pool. Wenn man im Hotel übernachtet für Wellness und Spa fällt da ziemlich viel Zeit weg.
