- Fainy (1/5): Worst decision- to spend my 60k on this property ! Pathetic experience - The view, The heated bed, and the bonfires. That’s the only good thing ! The staff ! They are pathetic ! First during our arrival, they tried manipulating us into paying extra for the terrace chalet saying that the entire property is booked and the last garden chalet doesn’t have good view so you pay extra and get the terrace chalet, the truth is that we reached the property at 11:00 am , there was only 1 guest that was staying there. And they just wanted to rip money and manipulate us , when they knew that we won’t budge and that we know their game, they gave us the terrace chalet. Next thing they do is to cancel our booking from booking.com, to save on the commission, and we confronted they said that they did it because different category room was provided to us. This is the lamest reason !
They are charging exuberant just for the view ! The property is over hyped ! There is nothing great about it. Don’t fall for the photos like we did !
Food is below standard, staff is manipulative and rude.
Their breakfast menu had - toast , cereals, fruits and idli !!! Imagine that for a 30k per night room. When i requested to get a paratha to the waiter, i was met by the restaurant manager , who was extremely over smart, I cannot believe the way he behaved. He came out and told me ‘so you don’t want the idli ?’ If I make a Partha for you , you won’t get the idli, he is saying ! That too in an extremely rude way ! Dude, first thing, their staff needs to learn some manners ! They are not at all appropriate to be in hospitality business ! Forget luxury ‘home stay’ they are not even appropriate to be employed by a simple restaurant.!
Do NOT fall for their photos, I repeat !
The place is extremely over hyped !!!
In the name of spa, they have a small room.
They are operational since 2017, they only have 10 reviews on booking.com and a full 10 rating !! There you go, That’s the biggest manipulation.!
- Hardik (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rohan (10/5): Exceptional - The views from the place are absolutely amazing.
And the food served at every meal, every dish was an absolute delight.
Great trails you can hike on from here also well organised by the hotel.
- Chintan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sanjeev (10/5): awesome view, good food and nice staff - The view was very good, the size of the room is very good, the layout and furniture like cupboard etc more than adequate. Good Bathroom. Nothing I can think of
- Bhavna (9/5): The stay was awesome .the property is very calm serene . - Breakfast was excellent, very personalised Only the location
- Atif (10/5): relaxing, beautiful and friendly. - the three dogs on the property were a delight for us to play with every day. food healthy and tasty. staff went above and beyond to welcome us (also planned a holi celebration for all guests). the rooms well thought out and nicely decorated. the live plants in the bathroom were amazing. price of room service (chai 250 rupees) a bit high in my opinion.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It’s serene, heartbreakingly beautiful. Loved my third bed by the window. Best experience waking up to the morning light and birds.
The meal prices are, on the other hand, unreasonably high. For a basic meal, nothing special to warrant that kind of pricing. Use too much oil in food. Wouldn’t recommend eating at the property.
Want to come here again in the future though..
- Ritika (10/5): Fantastic property, gorgeous scenery - Fantastic property, beautiful vistas from the rooms themselves, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, being looked after by the great staff. Really liked the fact that they've made the last few steps inaccessible by road so the property is so quiet and peaceful.
