Guest Reviews

- LIsa (9/5): Pleasant flying visit to Plymouth - Great location for what we needed and fitted everyone in, the host was so responsive and helpful.
- Felix (7/5): War ok.

- Paul (10/5): - Cleanliness and the facilities as well as the amenities Nothing
- Liliana (9/5): Great! - Awesome place, very spacious and accomodating, with a back yard. Close to the waterfront, close to a little park, not very close to shops, but close to restaurants. Quiet and safe area Communication with staff quite difficult, with very big delays in replies. But definitely ready to listen and open to try and resolve
- Nicola (9/5): We had a fanstaic time and looked to go back in the summer holidays - The property was amazing very spacious, I loved the kitchen space as it was a lot bigger then my own so that was a luxury on its own. We all was very comfortable my family of 7 people, the neighbours was amazing too, very helpful. I can’t really complain about anything it was perfect except, when we arrived the bins outside had been over filled and the seagulls got rubbish all over the back yard which was a sore sight when we arrived but I don’t think that could of been helped and didn’t spoil our stay inside.
- Meryl (8/5): Very good -
- Emma (6/5): Great location but the property could do with a good deep clean and another sofa in the lounge - Its location Cleanliness, lack of seating in the lounge for 6 people yet it sleeps 8. Parking is an issue
- Ross (5/5): Passable -
- Demi-leigh (8/5): Very good -
- Dujari (9/5): Superb - Clean. Collection of house keys was a pain. Also the house had a leak, it didn't lasted long though
- Daryl (8/5): Clean and spacious appartment - A clean and spacious apartment. Free car parking nearby if you can find a space. Close to restaurants in royal william yard 30 min walk to the city centre / the barbican
- Aedan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sherrih (7/5): Weekend in Plymouth - The size of the apartment is very spacious. Location was good, and the booking process and check in process was easy enough.
It was actually ok for a weekend away in Plymouth and the price i paid was expected for what we got. Could have been a bit cleaner, smelt of musty (cat urine) when you walked in. Found a few wood lice, and one coat hanger in the downstairs bedroom looked as though it had been eaten by them. The main bathroom could have been a little cleaner, and the shower strip needs replacing as it's pretty mouldy.
On the booking app, you have the option to purchase a late check out, which i did, but then it got cancelled on the evening we checked in. I then got another message on Saturday evening to say I could get a late check out on the app, but then late in the evening, it was cancelled again. I think if it's not an option, then the message should not be sent as it did have an impact on our plans as we didn't know if we could or couldn't check out late. In the morning, we were busy packing up, but cleaners were looking through windows to see if we were still in the apartment, but check out was at 10.30, and this happened at 9.45ish. Felt like we were being rushed to get out.
It's little things that make a stay memorable, and small tweaks could make it even better.
- Marrily (10/5): Excellent apartment in an ideal location. I would stay here again - The house was very neat, tidy and well maintained There were no oven gloves, pots and pans need replacing
- Roisin (5/5): It was cheap - Very basic amenities. The parking. At first parking was advertised but then after booking was completed it turned out parking wasn’t possible. Parking is very tricky in Plymouth so that’s why we checked first. The service by Pureserviced was rubbish. Didn’t tell us ahead of time that the keys needed to be collected at the office and not from a lockbox at the property. The beds were very hard. Some bedding didn’t have covers.
- Yvonne (8/5): Fantastic, highly recommended - Excellent size for a group of 6, large bedrooms, comfortable and clean, well equipped kitchen. No parking but a car park 4 min walk away.
Unfortunately had a problem with the heating and hot water, but front of house manager was excellent in dealing with the issue. Received a refund for 1 night as compensation. Would highly recommend this accommodation for your stay Needs mirrors in upstairs bedrooms, made it a bit difficult for 6 people to get ready without them
- Jodie (5/5): Good location but dog smell overwhelming - Location Really strong scent of dogs
- Tamsin (7/5): Lovely stay - Was very clean , cosy, and had a nice vibe Everything was fine
- Ruby (8/5): Very good -
- Rachel (8/5): Excellent base for a short stay. - Beautiful property tucked away on a quiet road in the old part of Plymouth. Comfortable, roomy, and stylishly decorated. Loved having the outside space - would have used it more if it had been warmer! With a few more bits of kitchen equipment you could easily live there long term. Two of the 3 beds were extremely comfortable. Sadly one was not - with a hard and lumpy mattress. Some oven gloves in the kitchen would have been useful and all the kitchen knives were blunt. The only available parking nearby is at Royal William Yard which is quite expensive.
- Giles (9/5): Overall a good stay - The property had everything we needed. Neighbour above was noisy ,from about 6pm to 9pm with loud music but as we were leaving next day I gave them benefit of the doubt as it was a Saturday Eve.
No parking at property ,nearest free parking was only 5min walk but was full most of time and you will be lucky to get a space .
- Carolin (8/5): Short n sweet … would stay again. - Nice comfortable home from home Couldn’t turn heating down …. Too hot!!! 🥵
- Tony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wood (8/5): Very good - location was excellent. Clean property with clean bedding and plenty of large bath sheets.
Decor was lovely and looked recently done. Poorly equipped kitchen. no coffee maker or caffetierre. Only one bad quality tea towel. A few drops of washing up
liquid. No spray or clothing to wipe down surfaces
An extra toilet roll would have been useful. No mirror in one of the upstairs bedrooms
Issue with toilet in en suite in that if was not filling properly and was exceptionally noisy for some time after flushing.
Key pick-up was not ideal as pick-up was a distance from accommodation. A key box outside property would have been more convenient
- Alice (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hilary (8/5): Good location. Attractive flat with patio garden. - I like that the price was adjusted for 2 people even though there were 3 bedrooms. Would have preferred to collect and leave the keys from a lock box which was at the property.
- Searle (10/5): Comfy and cosy - Just exactly what you need and want
- Annie (8/5): Great stay, ideal for families - Great large property, clean & comfortable. Exactly what we needed as a large family. With a lot of people staying it would be handy to have a dishwasher or a dish rack for drying items. Some items could do with a little update.
- Geoff (9/5): Superb -
- Shmli (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hayet (9/5): Superb - Parking for the area
- Taghdi (9/5): Great for family stay - The apartment itself was really spacious and lovely, had an outdoor space too which you entered via the kitchen.
The rooms were very clean and neatly presented, exactly like the pictures. The apartment was perfect for a family stay, it was nice to have a room separate from the children. Would recommend. One of the duvets was incredibly stained, not sure what it was but it didn't look great.
The apartment had a smell of cat urine which was over powering when we first arrived once the windows were open it helped. The smell seemed to be coming from the family bathroom. Staff did offer another apartment when I brought this up however after travelling all day with 3 kids we really didnt want to have to move again.
- Keith (8/5): Very good -
- Timy (10/5): Exceptional - The ambiance and the house were excellent There is nothing to dislike the property, our stay was superb we all enjoyed it
- Lynda (9/5): Excellent location and property. - Size, location and cleanliness Some of the furniture was well used. Sofa was flimsy and fridge door was hard to close.
- Claire (7/5): Perfect apartment to stay in while visiting family, great location although permit parking only in the area was a proble - The rooms were spacious and bright, nicely decorated with quality furniture (apart from back bedroom bed as it was cheap and very uncomfortable). There was a damp musty smell in the apartment that you can smell as soon as you open the front door and is throughout the apartment. The mattress in the back bedroom on the ground floor is terrible. Is either a cheap or very old spring mattress which gave me back ache and was noisy when tossing and turning to try to get comfortable. Fridge door was hard to close as door is misaligned. Read a previous review about the clocks not working and thought it silly to comment but it is very annoying and even more so when they still haven’t had batteries put in when customers have made comment about it. The biggest problem and a huge downside was parking, permit parking in the area and only a small free car park nearby was helpful if it had spaces. But it was like gold dust to get a space. Visitor parking passes can be purchased in a book of 30 for £22 for a year. I strongly recommend you off this. We would definitely stay again if parking wasn’t a problem.
- Luz (8/5): Very good -
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (8/5): Good - Well appointed Street parking was a painful.
- Shiela (8/5): Excellent for our needs, exceptional location - The location was great and the property was good Little things missing ie not enough pans
Dish drainer fridge door didn’t fit properly
- Field (8/5): Very good -
- Jack (8/5): Very good - No hot water
- Mark (9/5): Superb - Everything
- Annabel (9/5): Nice apartment good for a family or group of friends - Lovely big rooms and great kitchen set up. Provided everything we needed and it was helpful to have use of a washing machine and dryer too. Good location not far from the hoe and town too. It was too hot in the apartment, and although they provided fans for the rooms (and even brought an additional one) it was quite uncomfortable at times. The windows only opened a small amount and sometimes it was quiet loud from the road below.
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional - Clean. Plenty of space. Very comfortable beds.
- Terry (10/5): Exceptional - The location and the staff support (Jack). Being double booked but Jack sorted it out very well.
- Helen (8/5): Very good -
- Kate (8/5): Very good - quiet location, clean and decent facilities picking up the keys were inconvenient, as was dropping them off. be easier to have a key safe at the address to make it more convenient for travellers
- Andrew (8/5): it’s was very comfortable and clean and we all enjoyed it 😎👍 - very clean and warm the slates in the downstairs bedroom. kept coming out of there sockets. so we couldn’t sleep in it on one occasion. I did manage to put them back the next morning.
- Lee (9/5): Superb -
- Rod (8/5): Great accommodation, experience let down by check--in process. - Good, safe location. Very clean, spacious and modern accommodation Check-in process was poor. Arrived at separate location at appointed time to pick up keys, but could not get gain access as the reception buzzer was not answered, and the given phone number was also not answered. Voicemail message left - no response. Tried again later and the receptionist answered that she had been busy at another location (it would have been helpful if she had answered her phone, or at least responded to the voicemail to say she was on her way).
Unfortunately, when she did arrive to hand over the keys, no apology was forthcoming for the delay.
Lack of car parking also an issue - we got the very last space in the congested local roads. Had to pay for a parking permit - but no ability to get a refund if couldn't find a space....
- Claire (9/5): Great weekend - Staff on arrival were very friendly. house was very nice and good beds Having to pick and drop keys although this was arrange to post keys when leaving due to not having a car.
Not enough equipment for 10 but comfortable for 6-8
- Phil (8/5): Very good -
- Amy (7/5): could have been better for the price - location was good as close to Williams Yard WiFi did not work - password was incorrect, connected to the apartment upstairs but this only worked for one night, out of hours number was wrong in the information provided in the folder on the kitchen table
smell of mould in the downstairs bedroom
hair and mould in the shower
- Waqar (10/5): just amazing - perfect location walking distance from sea and Royal William Yard which is a shopping and dining area in an old navy setting. amazing place for drink n dinner. all beaches of east Devon. simply outstanding. even amazing if you lucky to find sunny days. best 3 double bed spacious house. should have stayed longer :)
- Sue (5/5): A nice building but lacked attention to detail as mentioned above. Over priced - The bed was comfy in the front room Smelly basement, only one saucepan, no mirror or tv in the front bedroom, clocks not working, only one tea towel, no dish cloth
- Joanne (8/5): Very good -
- Agnieszka (9/5): A great place to stay but communicate well in advance where to pick up the keys. - A spacious house with well-equipped kitchen. Easy parking outside. Great value for money! I would definitely stay there again. Location is not central but it depends where you want to be in the city - for us it was convenient. The key-collection address communicated via booking.com was not correct. The phone number we were given was not being answered; email sent to the property owner went unanswered. Otherwise, all superfine!
- Delange (8/5): cosy - very spacious and clean water pressure because if thé water is used in every room the water pressure decreases significantly causing discomfort
- A (10/5): Exceptional -
