- Didier (8/5): - Très beau château qui a besoin d'être rénové à l'extérieur. L'hôtesse d'accueil très dévouée nous a gentiment réservés une visite complète du château. Nous avons également visité la chapelle. La chambre standard est un peu petite mais propre et confortable. Le dîner était délicieux avec des produits de qualité.

Strategico come punto di partenza per la visita dei castelli.

- E (8/5): - We were the only people in this chateau which was nice but kind of weird. They just reopened we were told. I liked my room; the mattress was very comfortable and the fabric on the walls was very elegant. It was a little tight with the queen bed but it was fine. The bathroom was fine apart from the 1/2 circle shower which I continuously banged into while showering. Other than that it was fine. The staff was very nice and helpful. Nothing around this place; in the middle of nowhere.

- Alexandre (8/5): Bien pour dormir. Pas pour manger. - Pas mal pour une escapade a 2. Jolie chambre, grande, charmante, propre, bien équipée, et le domaine est plutôt sympa. Le restaurant ne vaut pas le détour: les plats sont bien réalisés mais c'est assez tradi, on n'a pas été séduits. A 38€ le menu entree/plat/dessert, on trouve plus créatif et plus gustatif en plein coeur de Paris.... Le petit déjeuner est insipide - produits bas de gamme (dont les viennoiseries), pas de fruits frais (hormis des oranges et du raisin..... fin juillet!!). C'est meilleur dans les nouveaux IBIS... Bref, pour la chambre oui. Pour manger... non! Or, on est loin de tout, donc pas vraiment le choix sinon de manger sur place... Donc nous ne reviendrons pas.

Highly recommend for weddings or couple romantic trip. Keep in mind, you will need to rent a car because in Loire you need to travel serious distances between chateaux.

- Richard (8/5): - This hotel is a little like a fairy tale location. The room was rustic with large wooden beams and smelled delicious. The dinner we had was amazing. The people at the hotel are wonderful. The only drawback I can say is that there was no central air conditioning yet. They did have a small standing AC unit and a fan in the room. I was at the hotel in September and it was warm.
- David (10/5): Beautiful Hotel in rural location - Although very quiet at the time of our visit, our over night stay proved to be both comfortable and relaxing. The restaurant is superb and the dinner breakfast were both delicious. The grounds are beautifully kept and well worth a stroll. We would suggest that the signage be improverd upon. We were not sure about where to park and which door was to the reception ! Otherwise no complaints.

We ate at the hotel the first night and had an appalling meal - nice menu but extremely poorly executed. We ate out the second night! Wouldn't go back.

- Zoe (8/5): On our own at the hotel - We got a reduced rate online. This made the experience value for money. We arrived to discover we were the only people staying at the hotel. It was newly opened, and apparently does get guests at the weekends. It was very plush. But as an experience it was very odd - a cross between the Shining and something very pleasant. (There are no axe murderers or ghosts) The food was ok. A bit overpriced for the quality.
