• ValeriaMaraITA (9/5): Alloggio delizioso in una posizione strategica - La camera è molto carina e soprattutto in una posizione magnifica, in pieno centro storico ma leggermente defilata rimane comunque silenziosa. Durante la giornata a Tropea abbiamo avuto modo di accedere più volte all'alloggio per qualsiasi esigenza in modo rapido e discreto; il personale gestisce tutto da remoto compreso il check in ed è contattabile sempre via wapp. Nella piazzetta adiacente l'alloggio è presente un locale stile messicano delizioso che aggiunge una nota di colore e l'opportunità di chiudere la serata con ottimi drink. La camera è molto bella, non come critica ma come punto di attenzione segnalo che la zona bagno è molto bella ma manca un pochino di funzionalità, non è esattamente uno spazio confinato con porta ma una doccia passante attraverso la quale si arriva anche al wc/bidet, molto bella esteticamente ma garantisce una privacy inferiore rispetto al classico bagno; aggiungerei qualche supporto in più nella zona lavabo per permettere di appendere gli asciugamani/accessori rendendola più funzionale senza nulla togliere all'estetica.

• Smith (10/5): Very relaxing, comfortable and great location! - The location was great and the room was spacious. The cleaners made the beds daily and brought new towels which was great! Overall, very comfortable and accessible spot. The host was very responsive upon checking and throughout the stay for all of our needs. The open shower concept made it difficult to contain water within the shower. In our room, you had to walk through the shower to get to the toilet, which wasn’t ideal. Not a big deal tho at all.

Kommunikation war freundlich und unkompliziert, sogar früher Check-in möglich. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Zentrale Lage in der Altstadt, allerdings kein direktes Anfahren mit dem Auto möglich. Leichte Geräusche durch Klimaanlage in der Nacht. Schöne Umgebung mit toller Altstadt und Strand.

Absolutely brutal check in experience where I waited out in the hot sun after letting them know way in advance of arrival time and arriving within the normal check in window. Lack of responsiveness and left me sitting out in the sun waiting without updates and then with a large delay before they could arrive. Bad customer service. When this was brought up, I was ignored.

The place has history and they kept the personality of the old manor. Location is perfect, not on the main street to be noisy, but you can get everywhere in the old town within a 5 minute walk. The room was spacious and full of character, with a stunningly high and unique ceiling that added a special charm. The bed was incredibly comfortable and cute (it was round) , and I especially loved the two balconies — each morning I was greeted by the cheerful sounds of birds singing and locals exchanging warm “buongiorno” greetings. It felt like stepping into a movie scene. The location is perfect — just steps away from Tropea’s main attractions, beautiful beaches, excellent restaurants, pizzerias, gelaterias, and lively bars. The historic center is breathtaking, and of course, the iconic balcony overlooking the turquoise waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea is unforgettable. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. While my room didn’t have a sea view, the central location made everything easily accessible. A truly wonderful experience — I can’t wait to return! Poor reception. If using their WiFi everything is fine

Whilst this was an imaginative renovation, the room was damp. This was not helped by the wet room being attached to the bedroom, lack of air circulation and lack of ability to air or heat whilst out of the room because the power turns off when you remove the room key from its slot.

• Steve (10/5): Exceptional - The location was fantastic. The design of the rooms was great. Parking in Tropea can be stressful, but we found a spot. The hotel is in the middle of the historic center so you need to know you will be transporting yourself and luggage over cobblestone streets for about 10 minutes. Not a big deal, but you need to be aware.

• Linda (9/5): Awesome place to stay for a quick getaway and very comfortable. - It was great for our 3 day stay in the heart of Tropea, room was clean and big enough for what we needed and bed ver comfortable. Breakfast voucher in morning was great to get our Cornetto and Cafe and Juice, so good. There were beach umbrellas to use as well for our days at the beach which was convenient. You need to note that most of Tropea is a car free zone so you have to park away from accommodation and walk.

The rooms are beautiful and really clean, staff super helpful and friendly. Nothing about the property itself but more about the breakfast :) Although in Italy it’s called a colazione for a reason 😅 but I thought it would be a proper breakfast and it was very simple.

Old city charm, modern rooms in a historic building. Very comfortable beds and linens, great shower pressure, sweet balcony overlooking Frieda’s cafe. Totally splendid! No beach towels. 🙏🏽 parking can be quite frustrating due to lack of vehicles allowed down narrow and forbidden streets. We do however understand why- and it’s worth it regardless! Park outside city center and Uber in.

• George (9/5): Next time in Tropea, we’ll definitely stay there again. - We stayed in a corner room of this 17 century building, with two little balconies on each side that were bringing lots of light to the room, making it bright and feel spacious. The recently remodeled room(s) has an unusual interior design: rounded bed, toilet behind the headboard and a shower in the middle of the room. But somehow they made it work and none of this bothered us at all. It’s not a quiet place, as the building is surrounded by bars, restaurants and constantly walking people. This is a centro storico and I Soffitti Dimora is in a zona di traffico limitato. Meaning you cannot drive there unless you are a resident. So my recommendation on arrival: don’t panic, find the closest paid street parking for an hour or so (2 Euro an hour), walk to the place and check-in, then spend time finding something better (con calmo). You can find some 24 hour parking for 24 Euro, or even a free parking spot if you drive around.

They even helped us with the parking. We had the best experience definitely recommend this hotel for your stay. Will definitely come back and stay here again!

• Monique (9/5): Lovely Stay! - The location was great, the staff were helpful. The room was spacious and clean. We were super close to the stairs leading down to the beach and to all of the action in the historic center. The staff also suggested we eat at the restaurant Casa Romano which was excellent with great food and even better service. The parking was a little bit confusing because if you park in the blue lines it is 50 euros a day. So you must find parking within the white lines which is free. Also there were some minor issues in the room when we arrived but maintenance came immediately to fix them. Overall great experience.

The only thing I would suggest is having a towel hook next to the shower in the front room as we had to walk around the room to get our towels. Which is no big deal but would feel a bit more luxurious

You can't park anywhere near the location. It is a pedestrian only zone with a few small spaces available for residents. If you drive in the area,you can be fined. Facilities were disappointing. No cups or glasses. No tea or coffee making facilities. No iron board or iron.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Boutique hotel - A bit difficult to find as the hotel only occupies part of a building and only has a very small sign outside it, but it’s well worth searching out. The location is perfect for exploring the old town
