Guest Reviews
- Jany (10/5): - Clean and remodeled
- Alexis (10/5): - It’s small, but the property was nice. Staff was nice as well and there’s a few convenient stores right across the street. It’s good, for the price.
- Michael (10/5): - Deposit needed at checkin cash only
- tony (6/5): Bitter sweet hotel - Room was great and big; provided free parking. However, room wasn’t not ready till 4pm and there was a cash deposit required and refunded after your room is thoroughly checked.
- Selena (2/5): - JUST DON"T DO IT
- Roman (4/5): I Never come back - Shower head damage, horrible bed
- Justin (4/5): - Air conditioning was not working properly. Staff seemed to be bothered when we went to go check in.
- Gabriel (10/5): - Thank you for everything!!!! I will definitely can back
- Alyssa (2/5): - Do not stay here. Find somewhere else. These people are rude as can be. Like we were bothering them to stay here. Paid over $200 to be yelled at & treated like a child all weekend. We were not allowed to “hang out” in any other room even tho we booked more than 2! Threatened to call the police on us. Everything we did was a problem. Dont know how they are still open but they need to take some management & hospitality courses. You can find something better & closer to sofi if that’s where you’re going.
- Joshua (2/5): - The staff is horrible. They aren’t welcoming at all, ESPECIALLY the lady who works up front. She had attitude from the minute I called to ask if there was early check in available. She acted like it was an issue when asking if I could have 2 more towels for the room. The TV wasn’t working. The AC didn’t work so it was hot in the room. No visitors are allowed to you room EVEN if they are staying in the same motel a few doors down or they’ll threatened to kick you out and call the police! I could keep going but I’ll end it like this if I could give zero stars maybe even negative I would. If you’re thinking about staying here for any reason I suggest you save your money. Sleeping in a tent on skid row might be better than wasting your money here.
- Leo (2/5): - The lady was really rude and unprofessional bad experience didn't even get room
- sergio (10/5): - Place is quiet and as soon as we walk in and rang the bell, the kind lady took care of us right away, gave us a non smoking room. I definitely wil coming back next time im around the area.
- C (8/5): - The bed was comfortable. The pillows were nice and super soft. The internet was reliable. I couldnt figure out to change the input on the TV but it did turn on. The desk railings were old and stained. The room was quaint. I booked the jacuzzi room. Everything worked fine. I did have a huge spider in my shower, i won't hold against the property because its a spider.
- Luis (10/5): - Berry polite
- Thomas (6/5): - Cash only deposits. An ambulance company across the street so all you hear is sirens. The beds were hard and instead of having a fitted sheet it was just a regular sheet with a piece of cut leather underneath.
- Melanie (8/5): - Big room, clean, affordable, polite staff. Thx you
- 864bretta (8/5): Really solid motel that I hope more people check out - I have to say the other reviews are pretty accurate and in a world where 3/5 is "totally fine" I agree with them. However, we kinda live in a world where if you rate an uber driver less than 5 stars it's a killer.
On the outside the motel doesn't look great, but I was only staying for one night so as long as it was safe and clean I didn't really care. Once I opened the door to my room I was pleasantly surprised. I don't know when the owners renovated, but they clearly did SEMI-recently and it's held up nicely.
The bed wasn't amazing, but it was fine and I slept just fine. I think the sheets were square though, which is odd since a bed is rectangular. A really minor quirk, but strange to me.
The AC worked well, the wifi was totally fine and working. There was a TV but I didn't use it. I was happy to see there was a working mini fridge as I like to have cold water first thing in the morning. There was also a microwave in the room which appeared to work but I didn't use it. A full desk was nice as well.
The shower head could've pumped out a bit more water, the pressure was fine but I felt like it wasn't a ton of water. Could be a water saving measure, I'm not sure. In the end I got a decent shower in, so it wasn't a big deal.
Free parking! I almost never have a rental car, but one of the reasons why is criminally expensive parking at some properties. In this case I was able to rent a car and get a room here cheaper than any of the properties that had airport shuttles and cheaper than almost all of the other properties anywhere near LAX/Carson.
The neighbourhood may look a little rough, but I walked like 90 minutes around the area at night and felt just fine, so I wouldn't worry about it.
All in all, is this a 3/5? Sure. But the reality is, I got what I paid for, I was happy with what I got and what I paid, so in the Uber driver rating system this is a 5. I'm putting in as a balance between the two theories. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I'm in LA, I don't know the city super well, if you're going downtown and don't have a car this probably doesn't work, but I was going to Carson and had a car and it worked famously.
- Maurice (4/5): Manipulative Staff - I was shocked at the tiny size of the room, especially when at least 3 regular rooms where left vacant, all through the night. I had to get cash for a deposit, not stated.
Very shady staff who treat renting a room like an illegal drug deal.
- Faysal (2/5): - So poor
- Travis (10/5): - Questionable neighborhood but felt safe. Easy parking.
- Juanita (10/5): - Very nice
- Carlos (2/5): - Do not recommend it at all, it is a better idea to spend a little more money for a better place to stay.
- Latoya (10/5): - .
- Verified traveler (2/5): Terrible stay - The room was not ready for us the day of the appointment.
- Jonathan (6/5): - They only take cash as a Security deposit, Inconvenience if you dont carry cash and no atm on Property.
- Kelvin (8/5): - Good vibes and nice and clean
- Sophia (10/5): - Room amellled like bleach but over all was amazing
- kenan (2/5): - Was told it was recently renovated, however when i qent in the room the air conditioner was old, the floor boards were creaky and thwur was a giant bug that greeted me in the shower would not recommended as a 1st time stay to anyone.
- Emmitt (2/5): - This hotel was trash the host are disrespectful and not very helpful
- Juan Sebastian (10/5): - Everything was clean and perfect
- Javier (8/5): - Okay for price and location. Was there to watch a concert at the forum. It was a 10 min drive or 30 min walk.
- Noemi (8/5): - Jet tub suit was clean, bed not so comfortable but good
- Oliver (10/5): - Really really really good. Kevin the landlord on reception was really friendly. The room was really clean and a good TV with good AC.
I’m very impressed!
- stephen (10/5): - Very nice
- S M Tahmid (8/5): - It was good
- stephen (10/5): - Very nice ppl
- Floyd (10/5): - Nice and quiet
- Paloma (10/5): Excelente localização perto do LAX. Excelente custo beneficio perto do aeroporto. O atendimento foi otimo, muito gentil quem nos atendeu. Nao tivemos problemas com barulho. As fotos condizem com a realidade. Super recomendo.
- Floyd (10/5): - The customer service is amaaaazing‼️💯
- Floyd (10/5): - Wonderful service
- Floyd (10/5): - Wonderfully accommodating and helped everything that we was trying to do we loved our stay there thank you very much
- Sergio Antonio Mendoza (8/5): - N/A
- Rito (10/5): - Bbbbbb
- Skylar (6/5): Just OK - The lady at the front desk wasn’t very friendly. They take a cash deposit and I had to leave early and must have disturbed her to early in the morning.
- Natalie (8/5): - It was decent for one night
- Hassan (2/5): - As I’m walking to check in he automatically starts racially profiling me and my guest.
- Angela (2/5): Room selected wasn’t available - We had opted for a non smoking room. They told me I would need a $60.00 deposit in cash. We were about to pull out of the ATM for them to say, never mind, we have no nonsmoking rooms left. We had a show at SoFi & it was starting so I had no choice at this point but to just settle for it. I have real bad asthma & had the worse time sleeping & breathing. We checked out first thing in the morning.
- Genesis (10/5): - Property is very clean and quiet.
- Veronica (2/5): - The check-in lady was rude. I never got a room first of all. I purchased online when I went to check in, she rudely told me the reservation was not there yet. So I went and sat in car, there was no lobby and the temperature was close to 100. Went back to check in and she wanted a CASH deposit. Which I didn't have cash on hand. So I called a friend to bring CASH. She rudely told me and him that he couldn't park his car in her lot, after driving to bring me CASH. She says there is only 1 car per room. Worst experience every ... I will never go back and because I am black, I really felt my color was part of the way we were treated. If anyone every ask. I will tell them to stay far away from CasaBell.
- James (8/5): - Newly remodeled rooms.
- Edgar (2/5): Dishonest management/Bad handling by hotels.com - Arrived after a concert and was told the hotel had received my reservation but was "not posted" and they did not have any availability. Meaning they had received the reservation, they had accepted it, but had not assigned a room to the reservation. For whatever reason they accept it and hang on to it knowing there is no room availability.
Horrible, shady practices without any regard to their customers. I'm sure it's some type of scam they run and somehow make money of it.
After I called hotels.com the hotel "posted" the reservation and charged for it without giving me a room. It's been 4 days and I'm still waiting to be reimbursed by hotels.com
- Dolores (10/5): - Very clean and updated
- Andre (10/5): - Clean and friendly staff.
- Jenny (8/5): Quaint and comfortable - It was last minute and the woman helping me although telling me they have no late checkout was kind enough to accommodate my security deposit which I was short $5 in cash of. She took the $35. One thing I thought was ridiculous was the request an id of any other person in the room just to get your key room
- Taylor (10/5): - Excellent owners . I stayed in room 114 which had the basic amenities and was situated off to the left of the property by its own . The bed was big , but not comfortable . The room was clean and up to date. A basic continental breakfast would be nice , but unfortunately they don’t serve it. I would definitely stay here again. A clean , comfy tucked away gem in the city of Inglewood !
- Jose (10/5): - I like this place clean and affordable
- Pilar (10/5): - Good service
- Jose (10/5): - Place is great
- Jose (10/5): - I like this place is clean and is good
- Angel (10/5): - Clean n calm
- Maria (2/5): - Staff was beyond rude, lady in front desk was condescending and treated us super disrespectful. Book was booked for 2 people, but plan changed and my husband was to stay by himself. My flight got delayed and i entered room to use facilities and we were threatened to be kicked out, no refund and have police called on us because i was a "visitor". When trying to explain what happened she and her husband refused to let us speak and in short terms were calling us stupid. When checking out, made hisband wait over 10 mins to "check room" for damages before returning deposit. Kepts trying to nitpick at the smallest things to keep deposit. Will never stay there again. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
- Maria (10/5): - The lights about the hot tub look so cool. Rainfall shower is amazing.
- La Meisha (10/5): - The owner was a little rude at check in but after was great but im a smoker and their a non smoking place and im disabled so i had to go outside to smoke other than that I loved it there.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Nice for the Price… but. - It’s a lovely motel for the price, but I stayed here twice a month apart, and the hot water for the shower was still broken. The pillows are somehow skinnier than cardboard. Otherwise, the jacuzzi suite is quite nice, just know you need to bring a pillow, and bath only since the shower is ice cold.
- Martin (8/5): - No hot water
- Taoufiq (6/5): - Bad customer service and homeless are around this hotel
- Barbara (6/5): - No smoking
- Verified traveler (6/5): A mid experience for sure - The room was clean. Bed was not super comfortable (but you can’t expect it to be amazing either way). The service wasn’t great, the people we talked to were grumpy and generally not welcoming. Room smelled weird too.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - No hot water in the morning to shower
Smoke free room smelled trribke
- Daniel (10/5): Great Spot! - They did a really fabulous job of renovating their very comfy motel. It's quite nice in the rooms. I had a hot tub suite and it was great for the price. My only recommendation is they need better pillows. They made all these amazing updates, but have cardboard thin pillows. Otherwise, great place for a great price.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Bad experience - At arrival, the motel gave me the thought that it's not a safe place--The office has iron bar and can't enter. After the registration, the receptionist asked for Security---only accept cash and would not give me a receipt---when demand on a receipt, he just said if I didn't like it, I could withdraw.
- Joselin (4/5): - it was dirty the sheets were stained. There was roaches
- Ahshaunte (10/5): - Easy to book smoking room actually clean
- Sonia (8/5): - Check was easy. Clerk was friendly. The pillows were flat, very uncomfortable to sleep on.
- Rodel (10/5): - The bed has a metal sheet around the frame, that is so loud once you accidentally hit it with your toe. Jacuzzi doesn't have drain plug to fill with water. Other than that its excellent.
- Lisa (10/5): - The staff were friendly and the motel was very clean and quiet. It’s not a fancy hotel but it was a lot nicer than we expected it to be. We stayed for 3 nights and from now on we will be staying here when we come to LA.
- carolina (8/5): - Felt safe
- Yareli (2/5): - Room was tiny, literally only space for you to walk to the restroom, blankets are cheap and worn out and they had a bunch of cigarette burn marks all over the blankets as well. The guy that works there is super strict on who comes in and out and literally has eyes on you. The shower curtain sucks! It looked dirty and kept sticking to my body. The shower curtain sucks so bad that all the water would splash in the bathroom tiles. I am definitely never booking here again the only reason why I booked was because I was in a rush.
- Eswin (10/5): - Good service
- Jesus (6/5): - Has to wait about an hour for hot water on hot tube and hot water was just for about 1/4 of the tube, has to wait another 30 mins for more hot water. No good
- Aaron (10/5): - Beautiful room
- Jannet (6/5): - Check out on the booking states 11 am but when I arrived the young lady said check out 10am
- Edward (10/5): - Very clean and comfortable. Mood lighting for spa tub. Near to every store or shop you’ll need.
- veronica (6/5): - Everything was good until we wanted to shower and there was no hot water
- Cristian (10/5): Hoops of Fire - It was good but lots of hoops of fire to stay. Only ONE parking spot, additional guest must have ID and no visitors :(
- Cody (10/5): Clean, updated, and affordable stay - Affordable rooms in a convenient location. Everything I needed was there and you could tell great care was taken in providing a clean and comfortable experience for guests.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Helping me with the payment to pay with prepaid card .
- Brian (2/5): - Even though I told them I’d be late arriving, they gave my room to someone else!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I liked the friendly customer service provided from the counter clerk.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This is a great hotel for a quick stay. We needed to get my daughter to the LA Lax at 3 in the morning. We got to LA around 11pm after wandering around the beaches we decided to book this hotel for a quick night stay. Check in and check out was easy, Room was ok. Overall will book this hotel again if needed.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Trap spot - The carpets were stained the walls had yellow streaks going down them but that carpet had red and brown stains the bathroom smelled like strong bleach and it was prostitution going on in 3room across from me
- Verified traveler (8/5): - IT IS OLD BUT WELL MAINTAINED. I WILL STAY HERE AGAIN BUT SHORT TERM. THE FACILITY IS OKAY
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Dutty and smell terrible.
My kids wasn't happy. And what I pay.
That i should pay like $20.00
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I couldn’t able to lock my bathroom door and check in and check out time is different than app
- Serena (2/5): - Worst place I stayed at.... not clean at all, the pillows stinked!!!
- karlen (2/5): Don’t do it. - Extremely dirty. I was so discussed, I did not even take a shower there. Dirty bed sheets. The rooms smell so bad 2 days later, I still can’t get rid of that smell. Towels felt like sand paper. Do yourself a favor and pay extra $30 and get a better hotel at a better place. I was warned by my uber not to get out late.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I didnt expect much more from a short notice 80 dollar bed in Inglewood... AC didnt work, tp had been used, the shower was more than slighty moldy. I'll be generous with three stars because i was to tiered to care after a lovely experience with delta.
- ConozcoElMundo1 (6/5): Good location, friendly staff, but Wifi did not work well - The location is ideal near LAX airport and shopping. All of the staff and managers were especially friendly and helpful in allowing me early check in, also providing delicious free tea. Unfortunately, the Wifi was very slow compared with other hotels that I have visited in Southern California in the past. If you don't need an internet connection, then this property can be a good deal.
- tymkemp (6/5): No Frills Bed for the night - So we stayed here last week for an early flight from LAX the next day. I knew we were going to arrive late and have to leave early, so I didn’t want to spend much. But it was OK. The room was a little run down, but it was clean and the bed was fairly comfortable. Ample parking and felt safe. So at the end of the day getting a bed within minutes of the airport for less than $60 was a bonus. Would I stay again? Probably if I just wanted a few hours sleep in a clean bed. But not if I wanted anything more.
