La climatisation fonctionnait parfaitement Les seuls bémols que je mettrai seraient l’eau de la piscine n’est pas chauffée (opinion personnel) et l’insonorisation n’est pas bonne si porte communiquante.

• T & K (9/5): Pretty good spot. - Rooms are comfortable and accommodating. Decent amount of outlets, able to stream Netflix and Amazon. House cleaning is on point and efficient. Location is very centralized. As has been the case on previous stays here there are a few things that make me wonder why. Typical mold in the shower and behind the water faucet in the bathroom. Not a great degree of it but enough to wonder why it's not addressed. Then you have, and beyond their control, the school out front. Get a room on the back side of the hotel it won't be so bothersome. Also the breakfast is pretty basic and getting eggs cooked was unusually difficult this time around.

• Rebecca (6/5): - Location is great. The staff is lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was adequate as well especially for early morning tours, it will suffice. I suppose it’s value for budget.. the school across the street didn’t bother us at all- it was the thin wall and door between bedrooms that made the stay difficult. We could hear snoring and conversation from the guests next door often during the evening. The pictures are quite dated. The mattress if very very firm, so it’s worth noting for those who care. The pool area is not welcoming for a nice day to spend there.

• Evripid (10/5): - Sehr nettes Personal, gute Atmosphäre. Die Lage ist perfekt, mitten im Old Town. Unser Zimmer war groß und sehr sauber, wir haben ein Upgrade kostenlos bekommen. Danke! Für uns war das Frühstück gut, alles hat gut geschmeckt. Der Schul-Lärm hat uns nicht gestört, wir haben schon gewusst, dass es eine Schule gegenüber gibt.

• Simon (8/5): - Hotel was extremely nice. I had the executive suite, was spacious, vert clean, very comfortable, bed was big and comfy. Staff were very nice. The school opposite had thier PA system or megaphone on at assembly time roughly 8am every morning and it woke me up plus a gong going some mornings. The school makes the road very busy and hard to get a taxi at these times. My room wasn't made up at least 2 times despite hitting the please make up my room button way before the midday time deadline. I spoke to staff around 2pm and they said they dont do late room make ups. Despite this I would deff stay there again as the rooms were very nice.

Nach einiger Diskussion wurde der Preis reduziert, war aber trotzdem unverschämt. Bemerkenswert: im Zimmer gibt es einen Aushang der Preise, die für Schäden zu erstatten sind. Die Vermutung drängt sich auf, dass das System ist.

• Peter (7/5): Werde ich nicht wieder buchen - Die Lage des Hotels. Nach tausenden Nächten in Hotels, ist dieses Hotel so ziemlich das hellhörigsten, was ich je erlebt habe. Man hat jedes Wort im Nachbarzimmer verstanden. Die zum Frühstück angebotenen Speisen, waren bis auf die frisch zubereiteten Eierspeisen geschmacklos. Der Toilettesitz war nur auf dem ersten Blick sauber.

The cleanliness was not as spotless as other places we have stayed, having watered down shampoo, some stained wood surfaces, and an old looking/dim interior renovation. The service when we arrived took few minutes as there were no staff at the front desk, but we were able to check in early at no cost. The staff are not too friendly but accommodate our requests as tourists. The breakfast average with coffee options, freshly cooked eggs, and thai cuisine like padthai and some curry. Immediately in front of the hotel, there is an elementary school which causes a lot of noise and traffic during school hours. There is also a lot of noise in early morning due to wildlife and thin windows.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great place to stay - This ideally-located hotel is a fine place to stay. The staff is very helpful, the wifi works, the rooms are a good size and comfortable, and the good breakfast seems to be included with all rates. It's near the fantastic Sunday night market I had heard so much about, and walking distance to a variety of ornate temples. The only negative I encountered: they have an airport shuttle, and I sent them an email with my arrival details, but they never responded to the email and no one was at the airport. This was a minor problem, though, since fixed-rate airport taxis (150B) were easy to get.
• Michael (8/5): 3 nights in Chiang Mai - It was a quiet small hotel centrally situated in the old city in Chiang Mai. For the most part, everything was easy going, efficient and enjoyable. However, the school across the street may be a little inconvenient for some in regard to the noise factor at times. Breakfasts were pretty basic, and the cooked offerings were always served only just warm to cold. Same with the two coffee machines, could only get tepid offerings out either of them.

• GyiHong (7/5): - Staff, and hotel is in the center of old town. Close to school, which means you will have school announcement/broadcast every school day in the morning. If you are not a morning person, you should take this into consideration before you book.
• Martina (8/5): Good with some room for improvement - The location is good as the hotel is right next to the old city main temples and night markets, if of interest. The room was clean and spacious, the staff was nice and breakfast was good as well. Something that might be improved is the fact that if you don’t switch on the “make up my room” button every morning, no one comes to make up the room at all, and they leave water bottles and toilet paper in front of your door, which is quite weird and not hygienic. Even if you signal to make up your room, they just make the bed and give you new towels but do not clean the floor. The pool is also quite small, and our room had a door that communicated to the room next to ours. Nothing of major concern but the door could actually be opened if someone wanted to.

• jane (10/5): Great Boutique Hotel - This is a lovely boutique hotel very near 2 beautiful Buddhist temples, Watchediluang Varaviharn and close enough to Wat Phra Singh and the 3 kings statue to walk. It’s on an ok side street but if you go up to the next intersection it’s bustling with stores, temples, souvenir shops and of course massage places. The breakfast staff and food was great-they will make you a fresh omelette everyday and the coffee (machine) was a perfect start to the day. Our room was lovely, modern and clean. Bottles of water every day and cleaning staff is awesome as is the welcoming staff downstairs. There is a coffee shop in the lobby and they serve cakes, teas, coffees and sodas. Nice place with AC. We didn't use the pool or gym as the city is walkable. Overall, I wasn’t overly impressed with Old City but the temples and people made it worthwhile. N/A
