The room was beautiful clean and comfortable. A. turn down service was provided and midnight snack. The hotel offered a happy hour each evening with small bites and colmplmenary activities such as walking tours and wine tastings. Upon departure, we were given a take away breakfast box. First class all the way!

The front desk staff was so warm and welcoming and helped us with everything we needed-massage bookings, restaurant ideas etc. The free walking tour was very enjoyable and our tour guide Anna was so passionate and knowledgeable about Lisbon’s history. Our breakfast, which was included was so good that we didn’t want to anywhere else. We were so sad to leave but will definitely be back!!

- R3328IWkathyd (10/5): We keep coming back, this is our third visit - This was our second return stay. We were fortunate enough to be able to travel with my husband‘s parents. For their anniversary, we wanted to share a special experience with them here at the Corpo. We showed them around the hotel like proud kids of their accomplishments. This was their first time in Europe and we wanted to spoil them. They were equally astonished at the personal attention. The rooms are beautiful. The staff remembered us from the previous visit which was two years ago, so that’s pretty impressive. Without hesitation, we do not look for any other accommodations. The hotel is quaint, charming, yet sophisticated, humble, and genuine. We will be returning this year in September and cannot wait to see our friends again. I am looking forward to celebrating my birthday at the Corpo sitting outside with our old friends. The rooms are quiet. I did not hear any street noise. I did not hear any slamming of doors and the beds were very comfortable. They even stocked the little mini fridge with my husband‘s favorite Sagres. The breakfast is outstanding with an assortment of options. They are very accommodating and will do their best If there is something special you would like. Looking forward to September. We asked about ATM and the staff were kind enough to tell us the ATM outside of the hotel charged excessive fees, and pointed us in the right direction of which one to use! They didn’t have to do that and I found that very kind. I know a lot of places take advantage of tourists. I don’t get that vibe here. The Consierge, all of the staff were exceedingly helpful. They do have a lot of recommendations for restaurants. there is one a couple blocks away. I can’t recall the name, but it was outstanding. It was their recommendation and we will return there as well. They will get a taxi for you, but I found bolt to be the least expensive option while in Lisbon.
- afehc (10/5): Fabulous staff - We had a great stay at this lovely hotel, a beautiful room and comfortable bed, and a really fascinating history to the hotel too, we were very happy with our choice of hotel, which was a fabulous treat after an endurance cycling event. But what really made it extra special were the lovely staff, who really made our stay memorable and made us feel so welcome. The concierge and reception staff also had very good knowledge of restaurants to visit and Ana who also hosted a guided walk of the city stood out for her care and sunny disposition. Thank you to everyone at the hotel.

From concierge who couldn't be more helpful in information and bookings to a basement chill out space any other hotel would eb jealous to have in such a busy city centre location. Understated luxury is what I think of with this hotel. From a quite outside apperance as you walk through the lobby to your room greeted with beautiful photography and artwork and once in your room its very hard to find any faults with this place. 5/5

From check in, we immediately felt welcome and appreciated. The entire property is beautiful and rooms have complimentary mini fridge with drinks. Included breakfast is spectacular. The lounge is a special treat; a stunning space which includes the Fernandina wall and artifacts recovered during excavation. Lovely place to sit with a cocktail made by excellent bartenders in restaurant bar. Truly special place!!

The location is very central; all the restaurants, shops, and landmarks are in walking distance. The staff really makes this place exceptional! They all went above and beyond, making sure our stay was even more memorable than the last one. Some staff we want to highlight are Reginald from front desk, Christopher from the restaurant who fed us really well, Ana who is in charge of the walking tour, Ruben who was so kind and gracious to show us their new facility, Pedro from night shift at the desk taking care of our early morning taxi, and especially Nuno the guest service manager, and last but not least the housekeeping service who made sure our rooms were clean and stocked with fresh towels everyday. This facility is second to none! They have so many activities everyday from wine tasting to walking tours to daily cocktails and even food and snacks 24/7. Thank you Corpo Santo Historical Hotel for making Lisbon our second home!

All the complimentary details made for such a special stay, from the sweets and water in reception, snacks outside our room and complimentary drinks and water in the room. The breakfast was 1st class all served at your table and so refreshing not to have to choose from a buffet, with fresh fruit, fresh juices, bread and hot food to order. The staff were also amazing not just the maitre d’ at breakfast but also ‘Paulo’ in reception…all so friendly and could not do enough for us

A friendly, courteous and helpful greeting, with refreshments on arrival and luggage quickly taken to our room in advance of our going up. A clean, bright, well designed and well equipped room. Very quiet notwithstanding being in a bustling neighborhood. Lots of attractions and shopping within easy walking distance. The onsite restaurant has unique, well prepared and nicely presented selections at fair prices, with wonderful service. The bar had interesting drink options, again with great service. Breakfast was lovely with diverse options. The archaelogical presentation in the lower level, for guests only, is an attraction on its own. The only minor issue was getting fresh air without using a/c or creating a chill.

- Esmallmd (10/5): Absolute Best Hotel Ever - Corpo Santo was by far the best hotel I have stayed at, and I have stayed at many five star hotels. I cannot gush enough about how much I enjoyed the amenities the hotel offered. The room was comfortable and provided a “pillow menu.” Mini bar drinks were included. The shower had unique lighting with accompanying relaxing soft music. Turndown service and cushiony slippers were provided. A hot tub, sauna, and Turkish bath were available to guests as well. A beautiful and unique sitting area was available below ground that showcased an ancient foundation uncovered during the construction of the hotel. But the best parts were the plentiful snacks provided at all hours, the excellent restaurant, and the complimentary activities. There was a free two hour walking tour each day with a knowledgeable hotel employee (Sergio) who rivaled any tour company. In the afternoon, I participated in wine tastings, a gin tasting, cheese tastings, and a chef demonstration in the kitchen of salmon preparation with a tasting. There was a cocktail hour in the lobby every day with a cocktail of the day and appetizers. The breakfast that was included in our stay was phenomenal. The breakfast was not a buffet but rather attentive table service with plentiful options. They served the best Eggs Benedict I ever tasted. All of the delicious breakfast offerings exceeded expectations. The dinner at the restaurant was outstanding as well and we received a discount as hotel guests. On our last day when we had to leave before breakfast, the hotel packed us a delicious breakfast with juice, yogurt, fruit, a sandwich, bread, and chocolate mousse, even though there was breakfast in the lobby. The hotel staff were so generous, attentive, and kind. We enjoyed meeting other guests at the hotel during activities. So much was included in our stay and we were thoroughly comfortable and entertained. I was sorry to leave but look forward to returning to Lisbon just to stay at Corpo Santo again. Thank you to the hotel staff for a memorable vacation!
- U1254PKdavidh (10/5): A truly perfect hotel that will ruin other hotels for you - Everything about the hotel is perfect, from the staff, to the rooms, to spa, to the amenities, etc. From the moment we walked in, the staff welcomed us, made check in a breeze, and brought our bags to our room. We were given a tour of the hotel and all the features it offered. The next day, we went on the free guided tour they offer twice a day to get our bearings. The staff made sure the room was cleaned perfectly and even included turndown service, helping creating the perfect atmosphere. Truly an unforgettable experience. 10/10. My only complaint is we had to leave.

The room was very nice- beautiful bedding and great a/c - loved the hallway wallpaper. Special thanks to Paolo, who went above and beyond - we had asked him how to get money that night, and he offered to walk us to an ATM he trusted. When we got there, the machine did not work for my USA card, nor for my friend's Canadian card. Paolo then offered for us to transfer money to him, and then he would get it from the machine for us. It worked! This was so nice- incredibly kind. The other man who was memorable was Christopher in the breakfast restaurant. Besides being so funny, he had great service and kind delivery. We missed him the last morning of our stay. The location is great for walkers, and we loved our trip to Lisbon. Thank you.

Die Lage ist perfekt um Lissabon zu erkunden: Zu Fuss ist man in wenigen Minuten am Praça do Comércio, vor dem Hotel gibt es eine Tram und Bus Haltestelle, von wo aus man direkt nach Belém fahren kann, auch die Zufahrt mit Uber/Taxi ist problemlos. Das Hotel befindet sich in einer sicheren und ruhigen Gegend, so dass ich auch als Frau alleine nachts ohne Bedenken zu Fuss zum Hotel zurückgegangen bin. Das Personal ist äusserst freundlich und aufmerksam. Sie bieten kostenlose Walking Tours und Daily Cocktails, sowie weitere Aktivitäten an. Vom Concierge Service habe ich eine super Empfehlung für ein Dinner mit Fado bekommen und sie haben mir einen Tisch reservieren lassen. In der Lobby gibt es ein kleines Buffet mit Snacks und Getränken. Auch mit Wasserflaschen für unterwegs kann man sich dort bedienen. Die Getränke der Minibar im Zimmer (Wasser, Softdrinks, Bier) sind kostenlos und werden jeden Tag aufgefüllt. Man hat im Zimmer einen Wasserkocher und eine Nespressomaschine. Jeden Tag wird zudem eine kleine Überraschung ins Zimmer serviert (zB Brot, Käse, Aufschnitt und eine kleine Flasche Portwein(!) am Ankunftsnachmittag, einmal eine kleine süsse Überraschung, frisches Obst). Zum Frühstück werden Brot/Gebäck, Aufschnitt und Käse, frisch aufgeschnittene Früchte und Getränke (auch mehrere täglich wechselnde frisch gepresste Säfte) am Tisch serviert. Dazu kann man sich diverse auch warme Speisen à la carte bestellen. Da ich meistens Müsli und Joghurt (und kein Brot, Fleisch, oder Käse) esse, hätte ich persönlich ein Büffet bevorzugt. Anlässlich meines Geburtstages wurde mir zum Frühstück zusätzlich ein kleiner Kuchen mit Kerze und ein Glas Champagner serviert; sehr aufmerksam. Die Zimmer bieten alle Annehmlichkeiten; die Einrichtung ist neuwertig. Mein Zimmer im 1.Stock war trotz der Ausrichtung zur Strasse hin sehr ruhig. Im Untergeschoss gibt es eine archäologische Ausgrabungsstätte zu bewundern. Zum Frühstück hätte ich ein Buffet bevorzugt. Ich verstehe aber, dass mit dem à la carte Service food waste minimiert werden kann.

- Cheryl (10/5): There are many hotels to consider in Lisbon and it was the reviews and 5 star rating that convinced us to select Corpo S - The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The front desk area has coffee/tea/water bottles at all times plus various snacks and baked goods available day and night. We had the option of several complimentary walking tours and evening activities like wine tasting and gin tasting. An amazing breakfast is included and served in a beautiful restaurant. They hooked us up with a wonderful private tour through Just Tour It and also gave us a wonderful restaurant suggestion. There is a relaxing downstairs lounge area, which we nicknamed the grotto, with several sofas and tables and chairs where we relaxed and brought cocktails from the bar at the end of the day. The room has an amazing bathtub with some type of system where you can unwind with select music and lights which was appreciated after miles of walking! Loved the quieter central location and proximity to the river. That helped us always find our way back. This hotel was awesome. There was nothing I didn’t like

The staff were very helpful with recommendations and reservations. Our dining experiences were all exceptional thanks to their expertise. Our room was huge. We had two bathrooms which was a real plus. We took advantage of one of the hotel’s free tours which we really enjoyed. Our tour guide had grown up in the area and was very knowledgeable. The entire hotel staff were very friendly. Our only complaint is that we had to wait several times to get into our room because the cleaning staff took so long to service it in the afternoons. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Corpo Santo and would recommend it to other travelers.

- 752p_ivia (10/5): Complete perfection - This was the second time we stayed at Corpo Santo hotel the previous visit being 8 years ago. We loved the hotel already then, but we did not quite remember how wonderful all the details were. This time we stayed in a Prestige Suite, which was very spacious, comfortable and peaceful. The free minibar, water bottles and Nespresso machine, as well as the free snacks including nuts, cookies and fruit outside of our room were all very convenient. In the lobby there were always some snacks, candies, cake and soft drinks available. Free water bottles to go with you when you went out to explore the city was a nice touch. There were also complimentary cocktails every evening. The free sightseeing walks were also very informative. Unfortunately we did not have time to attend the wine tastings and other themed sessions. Breakfast was superb and brought to your table. You could order anything you liked from fresh berries to eggs Benedict. The lunch at Porter Bistro as well as the room service were of high quality and value. The historical Living Room in the basement is also something you should absolutely visit. We have visited several high-end hotels around the world. Corpo Santo is perhaps not the most luxurious one, but the impeccable and friendly service along the attention to small details and extras make this one of the nicest and most comfortable hotel we know.

Die Weinprobe an der wir teilgenommen haben, war aber ein totaler Reinfall.

The hotel also has a really helpful 12pm checkout. Cooked Breakfast was slow to serve and cold when arrived. The ‘crispy’ bacon was just dried up and had obviously been cooked hours before and was stone cold. Poached egg was also served nearly cold. No toast offered just bread on table.

The room was very clean. Fluffy white towels, spotless white bed linen and a large bathroom. The hotel offers cocktails and snacks in the lobby each evening, and has a selection of sweet treats, coffee and water all day. Special shout out to Concierge Ana, who was an outstanding guide(the hotel offers a free tour every morning). Her love of the city and jovial personality made the tours fun and informative. The hotel’s hidden gem is the lounge and gym with the 14th century city walls incorporated into their design! Stunning!

The accommodations were lovely and the housekeeping staff was really on top of their game; the evening turn-down service was perfect. The common areas of the hotel were beautiful. There were an array of complimentary snacks provided in the lobby. The items in our mini bar were also complimentary. The location is ideal! A 2 min walk to the water and the city. The hotel is set in a beautiful neoclassical building with a boutique feel and only a small number of rooms, which makes a big difference. The whole atmosphere is very calm and relaxed The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a suite. - myhrtsincoz (10/5): Just stay here! - This is by far the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed…not because it’s particularly fancy but because the staff are incredibly warm and helpful. I was always greeted with a smile. Their English is impeccable…not that it was expected just very appreciated. The service is second to none. From the delicious breakfast, afternoon tastings and really wonderful walking tours. We were so well cared for. I really loved the “spa” after our long days. I believe the level of service we received and all of the extras at no additional charge make this place an excellent value and somewhere I would return to happily.

The location is perfect for exploring Lisbon . The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The facilities and attention to detail in this historic building are very memorable.
